He wanted to talk to Lucia about it when he returned to the inn. Lucia was the owner of one of the two adventurers' guilds in the capital and was likely to know about it.
By meeting Lucia here, he would be able to ask his questions sooner.
“Did you say Sony? He's the son of the headmaster of the Wizarding Academy, isn't he?”
“Yes,” he nodded.
“There's a mission that was placed months ago, and so far there have been people looking for it, but none of them have found it, and some of them never came back. Fewer people tried to take it, so last month the reward was raised considerably. Is that why you went to the Wizarding Academy?”
“No, that's not why we went, but something happened and now we need to find Sony and take him to the Wizarding Academy.”
He wasn't going to explain why they were going there or why they needed to take Sony. He didn't intend to involve anyone else in detective matters, nor did he think that talking about Rie in Yurine's presence would make her feel better.
“Are there any developments on the Sony mission? What is known about it? I want to know things like that.”
“I'm sorry,” Lucia said as she took another tiny bite of her cookie. “I don't know the details either. There are a few people interested with that mission, but I don't think they're going to share updates. After all, whoever finds the guy gets the money.”
What Yu was after, at least for the Sony mission, was not money. But he couldn't convince the people.
“Actually,” Raul interjected, drawing attention to himself, and Sivina kept talking.
“We were thinking of taking that mission.”
“Yes. Satoshi mentioned it and the whole group agreed,” Ana said.
“The reward for the mission is sixty gold pieces. Fifteen gold coins each, we can live lazily for a while with this money.”
“Why are you like this? Even if you have a lot of money, you can't live lazily.” When Satoshi pursed his lips and looked at Sivina in self-pity, Sivina sighed and added, “Maybe a short vacation.”
“Is he trying to be sympathetic?” Satoshi's ugly and sad face made Yu feel cringe again.
“Can we cooperate if we are interested in the same mission?”
He didn't know if Satoshi would do any good, but those two girls and Raul at least looked like they could fight if necessary.
Redchapel was the center of their research, and there lived a popular and dangerous killer. Finding missing people requires brains rather than brawn, but for safety's sake it would be good to have people who know how to fight with them.
Otherwise they could be used as bait and sacrificed in dangerous situations. It was not something he would not do for himself or Yurine, even though he knew it was bad to think that way about people he had just met.
“How about working together for this mission?” Yu asked.
“When there are five of us-“
“Six,” Yu corrected Raul. He wanted Yurine to be counted too.
“When there are six of us, the reward is divided into six. Ten gold pieces each is not worth the effort.”
The first objection came from Raul and they could have solved it. Normally he didn't think he would get paid for this mission, and now that Sony had been caught he would be happy if he got paid, but if sharing the bounty would prevent the formation of a group, he could have waived bounty.
As much as he wanted money, even Yu would do it from time to time. In return, of course, he would expect them to risk their lives for him and Yurine.
“Hmph, as if I was interested in cooperating with them. Besides we already have Lylphia, no need to take more idiots with us.”
The second objection came from Yurine, who reacted to Raul from an unexpected place.
“The faster we find him, the better. We have limited time and I think we can find him faster if we have more people to help us. It's also good to have fighters with us because I don't have combat strength.”
They could not continue to stay in Rolderhelm after the final match. They had to be quick and find Sony before the final match was played, take him to the Wizarding Academy and interrogate Salery. They also had to do the research they wanted in the library and decide their next move.
Sony had to be found at least a week before the final match, problems had to be solved quickly, and the more people there were, the faster they would be.
“How about I say; we don't want share in the prize? All the money can be yours.”
“Aren't you getting an award? Why not?” Lucie asked.
Yu was about to forget that she was standing next to them because she had been silent for a while.
“We're not interested in money,” he said, leaning his elbow on the table. “I mean, I'm interested in money in general, but not in the reward for this mission.”
“Are you sure? Maybe your other friend Lylphia thinks differently?” Sivina asked.
“She was given the assignment by the Wizarding Academy, she's not doing it for the reward. She's more of a sidekick for Yurine and me.”
The reason Maron Martin put Lylphia with Yu was to help him. As far as Yu knew, Lylphia had no designs on the Sony top prize, and if she did, she wouldn't have any now.
“But if you don't want money even though you're going to work, we'll feel bad if we get the whole reward for ourselves,” Ana said.
“Not at all, I don't feel a bit bad!” Satoshi folded his arms across his chest, trying to give Ana the impression of a bad boy. At least that's how Yu interpreted it.
“You don't want money, so there's something more important than money at the end of this. You're going to use us and get something more valuable than we're going to get, so why should we find Sony and hand it to you on a golden platter instead of us getting it?” Raul was serious for the first time since they met. “What's in it for you?”
“Raul!” Sivina reacted, thinking Raul had gone too far.
“What? I don't want to be used.”
Yu agreed with Raul, he would have thought so too.
“Our interest is information. We have our own issues and that's what we're after. We received our mission not from Salery von Bishory, but from Maron Martin, the second headmaster of the Wizarding Academy. The deal we made is that Sony must be taken to the Wizarding Academy. Once Sony steps inside that academy, I will fulfill my side of the deal and get the information I need from Maron. You get your reward of sixty gold pieces for Sony meeting his father, and then we each go our separate ways.”
“What information is that?”
“What do you care?” He agreed with Raul, but he wasn't going to let it go any further. “One way or another, it looks like both sides will be after this mission. Instead of turning this into a rivalry, I suggest we unite.”
It was time to ask the question once and for all.
“Do you accept my offer?”
Raul was reluctant, Satoshi tapped his fingers on the table and spoke. “I can't say I like this guy, but he coming from where I come from, I think he can accomplish something.”
“I'm used to men not liking me,” Yu smiled. “It's usually girls who like me.”
“Tch...” Raul and Satoshi clicked their tongues at the same time. Yu was delighted that he had set them both up.
“Yes? I still haven't heard your answer.”
Sivina and Ana looked at each other for a while and then accepted Yu's proposal. Since the boys also wanted to follow the girls, they dragged after Yu, even if they didn't want to.
***
As the rain subsided, Lucia and Yu were the only ones left at the table. Yurine had gone to the restroom to clean her clothes after spilling juice on herself, her new teammates had left for the market, and Lucie had had a minor jealousy attack as she left the inn, leaving her sister and Yu alone.
“You warmed up to each other very quickly.” There were still cookies on the table and Lucia was still eating. “I didn't see you eat any, have some.”
Lucia dragged the tray of cookies in front of Yu. Yu took one and bit into it, even though he knew he couldn't taste it.
There were hard particles in the cookie, next to the main ingredient, but Yu couldn't tell what the cookie was made of because he couldn't taste it.
“I don't want to eat much because these things make me thirsty.”
“But it tastes good, doesn't it? It's my favorite.”
“Yes, good.”
A simple lie would not have hurt anybody. He couldn't call it good because he couldn't taste it, and even if he could, he wouldn't call it good because he didn't like dry food like cookies in general.
“What are my new teammates like?”
“Those four?”
“So... Since I just teamed up with them...”
It might have been too small a matter to be worth mentioning, but Yu was always annoyed when his question was answered with another question, even if he did the same thing every now and then.
“Sivina was the one who brought the group together, she is a knight from Elhaven. I don't know if you know, but the El is famous for its knights.” The El Island was an island in the South Sea, with Elhaven and several small countries. “There are not many girls who pick up a sword and fight, and probably not many who become knights, I have never seen her fight, but I think she must be strong if she became a knight.”
“Do girls usually turn to mage when they have to fight?”
“Magic is not for everyone. It may be common in Rolderhelm or among the nobility of other countries, but in the wider world magic is a rare...” she paused to consider how to continue the sentence, while put her index finger to her lower lip in an alluring pose. “I don't know if I should call it a gift or a concept... Something like that, but yes, female adventurers generally use magic more than swords.”
Yu's mind was still on the pose Lucia had just struck. He had looked at the elven hentais for a long time and now that he was alone with an elf, all sorts of thoughts were running through his mind.
“Ana is Sivina's best friend, she doesn't talk much but she is a kind girl. She can do wind magic.”
“Just like Yurine.”
Lucia nodded in agreement. If Ana was a better mage than Yurine, he might want Yurine to learn from her, if he wasn't afraid that Yurine might love Ana or someone else more than she loved himself.
“Ana was also from İlonya, if I remember correctly. Before she met Sivina, she was adventuring with another group, but one of them died and her group disbanded. Then they met Sivina and started going on missions together. A few months later Satoshi and Raul showed up.”
“Those two can't seem to share the girls in the band.”
“Haha, yes indeed.” Lucia laughed lightly and brought her hand to her lips again. “I was here when those two signed up for the guild, I don't know how they met, but they signed up together and they were fighting all the time. As soon as they registered, they met Sivina and Ana and formed a party with them.”
“What exactly do Satoshi and Raul do? I mean, Raul had knives, but is Satoshi a mage or something?”
Maybe he could have been leading the group by making plans during the mission, but looking at him, he couldn't see such a capacity in him.
“Raul is a ranger, he tracks through forests or dungeons.”
“How's his fighting skills?”
Sivina was a knight, so her fighting skills must have been far beyond Yu's. Ana was mage and carried a sword at her waist, so she could also be useful in fighting.
If Raul could fight, he could help track Sony and also be useful in times of danger.
“I don't know, I don't test the fighting skills of those who come to the guild.”
“And finally, Satoshi? I really wonder what he's doing.”
“He has healing magic too. I remember he is not a high-level mage, but his healing magic makes him special.”
Yu didn't have a core, so he couldn't cast spells. The reason he did not have a core was that he was not reincarnated or summoned in this world. Yu had only crossed over from his world to this world and could only obtain a soul.
Stolen from its original source, this story is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
“That soul must be black now.”
If Satoshi could cast spells, he had a core, which meant that he came to the Second World in a different way than Yu. Satoshi was either reincarnated or summoned.
“If he came into this world like me, he should have gotten his core later. I must ask him and find out, or this curiosity will not stop.”
Yu thought it was more likely that Satoshi had been reincarnated or summoned, but if he was like him and had acquired a core, he had to learn how he did it so he could use magic.
“I think they are good people, you don't have to worry.” Lucia moved a little closer to Yu.
“How do you know they are good people?”
“After a while you become able to look people in the face and say things about them.”
So it was about Lucia's age. When the subject came up again, Yu was troubled again. It hurt to know that he would not live as long as the elves, that he would live a short life and then die and be forgotten, and he never wanted to think about such things.
“If you don't have any other questions about this, I have something I need to talk to you about,” she said, leaning more close to Yu. Their shoulders almost touched.
“She smells so good...”
He didn't want to be seen as a pervert, but he could smell Lucia. She was the very definition of the word elf in Yu's mind. She was beautiful, kind, smelled good and she was rich. Yu wanted to marry someone like her and live a comfortable life.
But now was not the time to smell Lucia's blonde hair or look at her green eyes or her beautiful breasts. She grew serious and lowered her voice as she approached Yu, and it was clear that something important was about to happen.
Yu recovered his seriousness and asked, “What do you need to talk about?”
“A few people came to the inn yesterday asking about you,” she said. It was as if she didn't want others to hear what she was saying, which Yu could understand. She didn't want it to be known that problematic people were staying at her inn. “To be more specific, the first two people who came were from the city guard and asked about both of you, and the one who came after them only asked about Yurine.”
“Yurine?”
There could have been two different reasons for the arrival of the guards. The first was the Sigma Tower, about which everything Yu had heard and talked about was mostly theories, and so far there had been no tangible progress.
Another reason for the arrival of the guards was that one or more of the team owners might testify against their conscience. Even though Yu tried to hide his identity, he couldn't stop thinking about this possibility.
But it wasn't the guards Yu was worried about. If there was something that required their immediate arrest, they would have done it as soon as they got off the ship. The thing he worried about was the person asking about Yurine. Why would someone suddenly show up and ask about her?
“The guards didn't know your names, so they described you and I had to give them your names because they are men of the state. They might ask something about the Sigma Tower, I suggest you go and testify as soon as possible.”
Yu was not responsible for the crimes committed in the Sigma Tower, but he was in a position to be easily accused. Arson, murder, destruction of public property, terrorism and a list of other offenses could be added.
“When Yurine comes, we'll go to the police station.”
If they tried to escape from them, their suspicions would only increase, and now that they knew their names, there would be problems getting out of the city. One way or another, they had to go to the police station today.
“Mr. Valarfin, you don't seem to be a bad person either...” she said. She had taken Yu's hand. Lucia's fingers were long and graceful, her hand soft and warm. Yu realized that he longed for this feeling, for someone to hold his hand.
“Don't I look alike?” How could Yu explain to her that what she was looking at was just a shiny package? Lucia would have been disgusted if she knew that the real Yu Valarfin was a thief and a murderer.
“...please tell me you did not commit a crime in Sigma Tower.”
“I didn't do it, we didn't do it. It was coincidence I was even there that day.”
“Can you tell me what happened there?”
“I'm sorry, I don't think I can.”
He could open his mouth and let the words out and tell what had happened, but the story involved Yurine and he would not do that without her permission.
“This is the first time your face has looked like this. You were in a bad mood when you came to visit us, but you tried not to show it, and now you've suddenly revealed your true colors.” Lucia continued to hold Yu's right hand. Not to stop him from running away, but to show her support.
“My real face?” He put his left hand to his face, had Lucia realized he was a bad person?
“I'm talking about your feelings. You're the kind of person who tries to hide his grief from everyone, aren't you? I understand these things.”
She understood, it wasn't a hard thing to understand. Yu didn't like to show his negative emotions to people.
Not because he thought it would make him look weak, but because he didn't like people asking him ‘why are you sad’ when he was sad.
Sometimes it was necessary to confide in others to get over grief, but Yu was afraid to confide in people even in situations like this. Honestly, he didn't know why he did that.
“I actually sympathize with you, Mr. Valarfin. It is admirable that you are trying to look strong, that you are looking after that girl and smiling in her presence. I really want to help you if you need it, so don't hesitate to ask me for help or to tell me your problems.”
She didn't know, and she didn't realize she didn't know. The only reason she thought that was because Yu had a good package. Yu believed that.
She was saying these things without knowing who he really was, the only thing she knew about his personality was what she saw on the outside. Maybe she had enough experience to understand what other people were like, but she couldn't understand Yu. She didn't realize that he was a bad person, she didn't realize that she was talking to a person she would be disgusted to know.
“I...” he stopped. He wanted to say “I'm not admirable.” He wanted to tell her what he was, but he wouldn't. He would let Lucia believe a lie.
“My sister is right, you do have a sweet side.” Lucia smiled like a mischievous teenager. “Are you blushing because I found you sweet?”
“Tsk, I'm not one to blush when talking to girls.” Having two older sisters, he was always comfortable around girls and if he blushed now, he didn't realize it. “If it happened, it was only once. I don't offer such beautiful views all the time, memorize it and remember it for the rest of your life because I will never show this face again.”
Lucia was beautiful enough to impress him. And only thing her sister Lucie lacked was a slightly smaller breasts. That didn't matter to Yu though, to him Lucie was also very beautiful and at this point in time two of them seemed to have something against him.
If he started to like Lucia, her sister Lucie would get angry and Yu would create a conflict between the two sisters. If he liked Lucie, he didn't know what Lucia would do.
“Maybe Lucia is just an anime onee-san, why am I making a bride and groom out of myself?” He give a breath. “Isekai thing made me confused. Why do I think she likes me just because she got a little close to me? Wait, I am handsome. Of course she likes me.”
He shook off the thoughts that had entered his head because of Lucia and brought up the subject that was eating him up inside.
“That guy who asked about Yurine, let's talk about him.”
He had a bad feeling that he was the main problem among the people who came.
Lucia swallowed, whoever or whatever had come hadn't made a good impression on her.
“He was a strange man, his face was covered with pieces of cloth so that only his eyes were visible. His voice was also deformed, I could tell he was in pain when he spoke.”
Who would come here to ask about Yurine and why? Besides, they hadn't met many people using the name Yurine. Especially not with such a strange-looking man.
And even if they had the chance to meet such a person, Yu would not want Yurine to meet him.
“What name did he use for Yurine?”
Yu might think that child welfare was investigating Yurine, but they wouldn't send a strange man to investigate such an institution. Yurine was officially Yu's daughter, so it would have been ridiculous for child welfare to come after them out of the blue.
It had to be someone who knew Yurine before she met Yu.
“Neko, he said.”
Neko was the name given to her by her mother before Yu named her Yurine and she was already known by that name.
“I wonder if...” Could it be Sharley? It was in Yurine's past, and it was the only name Yu knew outside of the Wizarding Academy.
“What color were his eyes?”
“Dark blue.”
Sharley's mother Stella had dark blue eyes, as did his uncle Salery. If he inherited their genetic traits, she might have blue eyes and that might give a clue. He would ask Yurine.
“He was unconscious when we dropped him off, he woke up and went into the Sigma Tower and got caught in the fire? Is that why he was wrapped in bandages?”
He didn't like him suddenly appearing, he was afraid Yurine would leave.
“Did he ask for someone else?”
“No.”
He thought that if it was Sharley he would call Rie too. The fact that he hadn't asked for her made Yu even more worried. Was some guy he didn't know after Yurine?
“Is it someone you know?”
“I don't think I would want to know someone like that, and even if I had the chance to know someone like that, I wouldn't want to introduce him to Yurine.”
“A protective father, I suppose.”
She had tried to lighten the tense atmosphere with a joke. Yu couldn't say she succeeded, but he gave her a small smile for her effort so she wouldn't feel bad.
“That person said he would come later.”
“Did he say anything about contact? Address or name? What did he ask you? What did you tell him?”
“Ah, a barrage of questions.” She continued to hold Yu's hand with his right hand while she put his left hand to her chin and gathered the information in her memory for a while. “He asked a few questions about Neko, your Yurine. He also asked about you, the man she was with.”
“What did you say?”
“His questions were not very detailed, so my answers were not detailed. I mentioned both of your names and added that you are not here right now.”
“What else? Did you get a name, an address?”
“When I asked for his name, he said it was not important. I asked for an address so that you could reach him when you came, but he said that was unnecessary and that he would come back. Then he left, and that was it.”
It was frightening. A strange man was saying he was coming and he couldn't prevent his arrival. He closed his eyes and leaned back.
"I don't know what Yurine would do with a man like that. I haven't known her for a long time, but the moment someone like that stands in front of her, she'll want to get away, she'll be uncomfortable with him even being in her line of sight. And certainly she will say ‘stay away you disgusting low life being’ or something."
“If you feel uneasy, you can report it to the police station.”
“There's a strange person looking for a little girl, of course I'll report it. A normal person would be fine, but I don't want Yurine to meet someone like that.” He took a deep breath and blew out loud. “I'd be surprised if it wasn't a problem.”
He would think about the possibility of it being Sharley for a while and discuss the matter with Yurine. Other than that, there was nothing else to say about the strange man.
“Are you getting along well with Yurine? From what you say, she seems to have gotten used to you.”
She was talking about the incident Yu told to embarrass Yurine. Yurine had wet herself and Yu had to sleep next to her.
“Has Yurine gotten used to me?”
Yurine called him a murderer.
That was because Yu had caused her mother's death.
Then he committed another murder in front of her.
He thought Yurine wouldn't like him, he believed that she didn't like him, but somehow after the Wizarding Academy, Yurine started to get closer to Yu.
“Do I deserve such a thing? Can I be loved? Can someone love me, knowing who I am?”
Today was the best day Yu had ever had since he came into this world. If he could strip his memories of the First World of his older sisters, he could say it was the best day of his entire life.
He knew that the warmth he felt when he ran with Yurine in his arms and she rested her head on his shoulder was special.
He wanted to be loved, and being loved made him happy to the point of tears.
“But do I deserve to be loved?”
He realized now that he had felt good even during the debate at the Wizarding Academy. In fact, he had always felt good after that moment.
Although it hadn't been that long, remorse hadn't bothered Yu for a while. It was all thanks to having Yurine by his side.
At first he thought their relationship was going to be brother and sister, but suddenly it was father and daughter, and Yu was happy about it, and because he was happy about it, he accepted it very quickly.
Yurine loved him, even if she hadn't done anything special to make him love her. The fact that she loved him made him forget the thoughts that plagued him when he spent time with her.
“But how can I forget? Why do I think I have to feel bad?”
He wanted to feel good, he wanted to be happy.
“I'm not even sure what to think, I'm just going straight ahead.”
“I was asking a simple question, is there a problem that you need to think about?” Lucia brought her face closer to Yu's and he felt her warm, odorless breath.
“The problems are with myself, it was exciting to think that I could be loved.”
Lucia didn't understand him.
“Isn't it normal for Yurine to get used to me right away? I'm a great person after all.”
As the rain stopped, he could see the rainbow outside the window. He wondered when he had last seen a rainbow. He had several memories, but he couldn't remember which was the most recent.
“I'm the only one who can share Yurine's secrets, which inevitably strengthens the relationship. It's not nice that she doesn't have any friends other than me, though.”
“I can understand. I had a lonely childhood too, because low birth rates.”
“You say it like it was a century ago.”
“It was.”
If she says she had a lonely childhood, the age difference between her and Lucie must have been big. At least compared to the lifespans of human beings.
“Actually, I know a sword fairy, she's older than Yurine, but it might make her feel better to chat with someone of her own kind.”
“Another sword fairy... I don't know, I'm not sure.”
“Every child needs to go for a walk with a close friend. What's bothering you?”
“Which one should I say?”
The first was that he was terrified of losing Yurine. The second was the possibility of an epilepsy attack while she was away. Even though he had an attack in his first week on this world and never had one after that, he couldn't let his guard down. The third was the strange-looking man.
“I don't want to let her out while some strange man is looking for Yurine. She can probably protect herself better than I can protect her, but if something happens to her...” Yu couldn't forgive himself.
“Nerissa is an adult and a very powerful fairy, Yurine will be safe with her. I don't think things like kidnapping in broad daylight will happen.”
It would have been good for Yurine to have a friend. Maybe because Yu was an adult, Yurine couldn't talk to him about everything she wanted.
Lucia had said that the other sword fairy was also an adult, but Yurine might warm up to her more easily because they were of the same species.
It scared him that someone else would get along better with Yurine than he did, but he would accept it for Yurine's sake.
“If you say so, I think it will be good for Yurine. Of course, I'll get to meet Nerissa too.”
“Of course. They should be back from their mission next week, I'll talk to Nerissa and ask her then.”
“Thank you.”
Out of the corner of Yu's eye, a white girl appeared, Yurine coming out of the bathroom.
“What do you want to ask from this person you mentioned?”
“I thought you fell in the hole, you stood too long.”
“Don't be silly, I don't do such things. Now I order you to answer me.”
“No, it's a secret.”
He didn't want Yurine to find out today, it would be a surprise for her.
“When did I give you the right to keep secrets from me? You will tell me, I command you!”
“How sweetly you give orders.”
When Yurine sat down next to him, he pulled her close to him with his left hand.
“Your...” As if she had discovered something much more important, Yurine forgot about what she had just said and opened her eyes wide and looked at Yu's right hand. “Why is that elf holding your hand? You pervert, are you seducing girls?”
“Uh...” Yu was not at all uncomfortable with a beautiful girl holding his hand, so he didn't pull it back. “Are you jealous of me?”
“NONSENSE!”
“Okay, let's not shout and draw attention to ourselves.”
He pulled his hand away and made Yurine, who had stood up to shout, sit back down.
Lucia was laughing. “Then let me tell you something else.”
“What do you want to say?”
“How about being an adventurer?”
What had previously been a topic of discussion between him and Yurine was brought up again. When the subject first came up, Yu had refused, thinking that adventurism would be dangerous.
Lucia's purpose in bringing this up now could not have been to ignite a fight between the two of them again. Yu became quiet and listened to what she had to say.
“Not everyone who is an adventurer has to go and hunt monsters, there are adventurers who do simpler jobs. Now that you've signed up with a team from the adventurers' guild and you're going to do a quest from the adventurers' guild, it might be useful to get at least a dog tag.”
“What good can it do?”
“This mission is in the middle class, and if you get an adventurer's tag, you can increase your rank a little bit. I know you don't have an eye for adventuring, but if you want to do something adventurous later on, this will come in handy. Also...” Lucia was about to make an offer that Yu couldn't easily refuse. “...If you have adventurer tags, you can stay and eat cheaply in adventurer guilds in other regions during your quest. It is also sometimes useful to show people your adventurer tag. I think these things will be useful to you.”
“You've already won me over by saying cheap.”
If he had received this information earlier, he might not have had to argue with Yurine. Then he felt bad for rejecting Yurine.
“What do you think, Yurine?"
“I thought you didn't want to be an adventurer.”
“Would it surprise you if I changed my mind?”
The only source of income was child benefit, which was not high by Rolderhelm standards. It was useful for families with a separate source of income, but on its own it was a low source.
Not only would their income be insufficient, but their expenses would increase with the task ahead of them. If this was the case, cheap accommodation and food was an offer Yu could not say no to.
It also made Yurine's dream of adventure come true.
“Adventurers, then.”
Yurine smiled slightly. After Lucia enrolled them in the adventurer's guild and issued their tags, they left the guild to find out what the guards who were looking for them wanted.
