The ancient war and the 8 heroes, as well as the history of Fang Meng's civilization made everyone interested. Some of them almost fell asleep not because it was boring, but it felt like a bedtime story. Following the story, Ye Tian finally asked the most important question.
“Fang Meng, how old are you? How can you still be alive?”
“What era are we in?”
“Have your heard of the star empire?”
“Yes, I have.”
“Well they still exist. In fact, they’re believed to be the strongest. How about the min kingdom, the immortal shield sect, Saint empire?”
“No, never heard of them. When did they start?”
“The oldest is the immortal shield sect that was founded by their patriarch about 350,000 years ago.”
“They probably didn’t exist when I was still living.”
“Oh yuck! I kissed a fudging granny!” Ma Qian yelled out in disgust. He tried to wash his mouth after realizing this.
Fang Meng glared with killing intent at Ma Qian.
“You idiot, I might be have lived a long time ago, but my body stopped aging when I was 17 years old. That was the time when I split my soul spark to survive.” Fang Meng retaliated using direct verbal insults. Why does Ma Qian always rile her up, she had always wondered about this matter ever since they met.
“So how did you survive living through all those eras?” Ye Tian asked.
“Splitting a soul spark is an extremely rare ability that I had. Not even my family members had it. Splitting the soul spark allowed one’s soul to wander without a physical body through countless times. However if it was apart from each other, they can’t be too far away from one another, otherwise, they would perish. That’s why I was stuck in the fortress ever since the war ended,” Fang Meng answered honestly of her rare ability. The soul spark does not affect cultivation but it allows a unique way of surviving throughout the ages as long as the soul sparks are unharmed.
“Can you regain your body to a normal one?” Ma Qian curiously asked.
“This….I’m not sure. I’ve read many historical books but nothing is mentioned about such solution because only two or three cases throughout history had this type of ability,” Fang Meng replied.
“So, what are you going to do now?” Ye Tian asked.
“I was hoping I could stay with you guys a bit longer until I figure it out. I can only stay as a sparrow for a limited time, so I still need Ma Qian’s body as an avatar,” Fang Meng replied while staring at Ma Qian.
“That’s fine. But as you can tell, we don’t have much here and we’re dead broke, so as long as you can live with that, then you can do whatever you want,” Ye Tian straightforwardly replied. He didn’t even ask Ma Qian’s opinion on this matter as if his body had already become a property. Ma Qian could only sigh at the thought of provoking Ye Tian, his recent battle performance have left him in awe more and more. He was pissed because he felt useless at this point, however, he recalled that Fang Meng is a very powerful spirit breaker.
“Fang Meng, your spirit formation……can you teach me?” Ma Qian shyly asked.
“As you are helping me to become my avatar, I can at least help you with that. Your skills are not bad at all,” Fang Meng laughed. She already planned to teach him ancient spirit formations because she felt Ma Qian was really superb with his spirit formations. Even when she lived during her era, she’s never met someone her age, including her, that could match up to Ma Qian’s knowledge and ability. Probably only the elders or masters of her generation could match up to him, however, because she had been studying spirit formations for hundreds of thousands of years, no one at this point would be even close to her knowledge and skills. Ma Qian became ecstatic after hearing her.

The team took out all the treasures they raided from the ruin fortress. Some were distributed to themselves while some of them would be sold to the market or at an auction site.
Before the night concluded, Ye Tian took out the outfit that was worn by a legendary thief and asked Fang Meng if she had some information on this outfit.
“Hmmm, this looks quite familiar but I’m not too sure about it either. I may have seen something similar to one of the illustrations that I saw from the historical books,” Fang Meng explained.
“The vendor lady said this was an outfit worn by a legendary thief a long time ago, but I’m not sure the specific era.”
“I remember there was a legendary thief who could rob anything out of the daylight and never got caught once. People called him the “Ghost Thief,” because he could disappear whenever he wanted to. This thief would actually announced ahead of time which treasure he would rob and what day he would rob that treasure, but still, no one could stop him from taking it.”
“Some people said he could teleport, while some said he could change faces, while some others believed he could become invisible. Whatever the case was, we knew his cultivation wasn’t high so we believed he had a treasure that could help him rob other treasures easily.”
Ye Tian thought about it further. That would make some sense if this thief didn’t have a high cultivation, but the problem at this moment is how to activate it in order to find out its true ability. He got frustrated after trying to figure it out for a while, so he didn’t bother any longer. He started wearing the outfit as part of his interior clothing, then try to figure it out from there as time goes by.
The next morning, the sun was still rising as they flew with their falcons towards the capital. On the way to the capital, they saw a figure sitting on top of the hill. This person had a similar vibe as Sun Mei with the same type of clothes, ornament hats, and demeanor.
“Don’t look in the eye, don’t look in the eye!” Xiang Jiao yelled out in fear of the same events that happened to him recently.
The figure could be seen turning its head staring at them. No one tried to dare look at the person, but several mosquitoes flew around Ye Tian’s face. He tried to withstand the itchiness but eventually couldn’t, as he shook his face from left to right. Unfortunately his eyes met with the person’s eyes.
“Fuck!” Ye Tian yelled out. Everyone else sighed. Life can be so unexpectedly sad.
The person actually had sensitive hearing as she could hear everything they said. She frowned in anger.
“Why the fuck are you cussing at me bitch? What? You think you guys are way too good looking to look at me? Dream on man-whores!”
The person yelled out in response to Ye Tian. Everyone was surprised including Fang Meng, not just because this woman had a sharp and abusive tongue, but the voice also sounded very deep similar to a real man’s voice!
Ye Tian felt offended. Sure, he was a bit disrespectful due to frustration, but this woman’s words were too excessive where every word felt like a stab in the heart. Even if it was a woman, Ye Tian would give this person a lesson. He no longer cared about being a gentleman, he only cared about getting his way with his remaining years.
The group flew down towards the person, but the person started running away quickly as she summoned a beast similar to an Aries (look up astrology) with multiple curved horns. The beast was really fast as every step seemed like a jump that could cover a long distance quickly. However, the falcons were a bit faster finally catching up with the aries. The whole team jumped out and attacked the woman with no regards of being fair or merciful.
“Fuck…”
“Fuck you! Arrghhh”
“Shut up!”
“Screw your mom, whore!”
“What did you say?”
“Arghhh, you heard me fuckface! Your mom can such my…”
Boom!
Before the woman could finish, she was hit in the face and fell to the ground surrounded by the whole gang ready for more beat down.
“Screw you guys, ganging up on me? How about one on one punkass?” the girl yelled out in anger.
The whole gang could only look at each other in shock as more surprises appeared in front of them.
“Come on! I dare you! One on one, bitches! What? You got no balls….that’s what I thought…” the girl snorted as she prepared to escape the scene again.
