The terrain on this level resembled an apocalyptic city that transformed into a sand dune overtime, leaving only decapitated buildings that were about to fall apart anytime. Fang Meng sensed that her other soul spark was around this area. Everyone decided to explore the area if there were anything left  of value to be collected, even the smallest treasures or magical items can be sold for a considerable price. The group was that desperate for some zoids. But ever since they've arrived at this level, they were on high alert due to the ominous feeling from this place even though everything they saw was lifeless and quiet.

The crew checked the military base, but there was nothing of value. They arrived at different sects, but still nothing of value could be collected.

Baam!

“Roar”

Ye Tian was seen jumping quickly from place to place barely escaping the beast that was hiding below one of the sects. Ye Tian had summon his law of water to form a body armor, while crimson flames were ignited on his hands and feet. He really looked like a God of war while floating slowly back to the ground.

Part of the beast came out, once it was seen clearly, it was actually a massive python that could cover a tower. Ye Tian seemed to sense a place that was extremely beneficial for cultivating. It was most likely a dragon vein filled with an abundance of rich and unlimited energy, which was why the python created this nest for his resting place.

The python relentlessly attacked Ye Tian again and again, he was cut and wounded in some places, even his armor cracked. Lin Yang slashed a wall barrier to protect Ye Tian, while Ma Qian summoned his vines to retrieve the wounded Ye Tian to a distant place. Xiang Jiao initiated a lightning attack to distract the python. His nirvana ring formed into two rotating bracelet rings. Xiang Jiao, at this moment, was already within a striking distance from the python’s blind area. His glowing bracelets were spinning even faster than before as he initiated a double punch towards the python’s body.

Kaboom!

Xiang Jiao retreated quickly by flipping sideways to the distance. His bracelets reformed into the nirvana ring again, but this time Xiang Jiao whispered something while closing his eyes. The nirvana ring spun faster and faster until it showed a red color. He opened his eyes and entered through the nirvana ring. What came out was multiple copies of Xiang Jiao dashing towards the python in different directions striking vicious hits and piercing fists.

Screeeeeeeeecccccchhhhhhhh!

The python felt a bit dizzy and pain from the attacks, but it was able to wipe out the copies in no time. Only a high ranked beast, such as a peak infinite or immortal beast could easily tell they were copies. Suddenly another python head flew above and started attacking Xiang Jiao. The python was actually a double-headed python!

Ma Qian had his vines to quickly pull Xiang Jiao away. Lin Yang came slashing again, this time, he aimed for the eyes.

Roar!

The snake shrieked in pain. One of the eyes was slashed by Lin Yang, but Lin Yang wasn’t stopping or retreating, he jumped to neck area, while in the air, he shouted, “sword dance.” Lin Yang started spinning while slashing at the same spot over and over again, until deep wounds could be seen. His swordsmanship was so elegantly executed, it felt like he was dancing. The other python spit out a venom towards Lin Yang, but he blocked it just in time by erecting another shield. However, the shield soon melted into nothingness.

Lin Yang already retreated before the shield completely melted. High up above in the sky, a dragon was falling rapidly with a screeching sound ready to bite and tear the blinded python’s head.

Snap!

Inside the water dragon was Ye Tian, who pinned one of the python’s head into the ground with the help of the water dragon. The python was unable to open his jaws. Ye Tian, who was so close to to its forehead, stabbed the forehead while whispering a mantra. His eyes became silver, the water sword that was stabbed into the python’s forehead penetrated the monster core, but what was more amazing was the monster core wasn’t destroyed the instant the sword penetrated it. The water sword turned into a bloody red color with a devilish aura.

Ye Tian was actually sucking the energy out of the monster core by using his water sword to transfer the energy into him. What type of demonic skill is this? The python was shaking and screaming violently but it still couldn’t move. The other headed python tried to save it’s companion, but Ma Qian yelled out, “Thousand Strikes!” It was a skill in which Ma Qian summoned dozens of long vines and starts hammering away violently against its target. However, the python whipped its tail and destroyed all the vines, but it continued forward aiming for the dragon.

Ma Qian was quick to act and created multiple layers of vine shields to protect the water dragon. Ye Tian was inside looking devilish, but Ma Qian and the others knew he couldn’t be disturbed at this point. Xiang Jiao tried to summon the hand that had helped him before, but he didn’t know how.

Meanwhile, massive energy was being sucked into Ye Tian’s dantian, even the others could feel its massive energy that was leaking out. The others had no time to question Ye Tian’s demon-like skill, because it has another python head that they needed to kill. Suddenly the water dragon started disappearing, instead Ye Tian transformed into a crimson flame dragon and dug out the python’s forehead with its water blade formed on his arm. The python was already dead, it’s skin toughness was already weaken to a significant degree. Ye Tian quickly entered.

Boom!

“Flame Hurricane”

Ye Tian’s crimson flame increased to an extremely high degree, where some parts of the python’s body was torn due to the ignition of the flame. As a flame dragon, he twirled through the insides of the python, while his water blades were tearing everything it passed by. From the outside, the dead python’s head begin to explode into pieces, then the neck exploded, then the body exploded, but it didn’t stop there. The other python that was still alive felt incredible pain from the inside.

“Screeechhhhh.”

A crimson light appeared to be glowing on the python’s body. Boom! The body exploded, a short while later, the neck exploded, and before the head exploded, all the python could do was scream in anguish. Kaboom! The head exploded and torn into pieces. The python was so massive, it allowed Ye Tian to move  effortlessly from the body of the dead python towards the other body that was still alive. Everywhere he passed by, everything was blown or teared into pieces leaving nothing behind but the monster core.

“Law of fire and water….” Fang Meng murmured while staring at Ye Tian very seriously. As ancient as she was, she knew this was extremely rare to possess two laws, and it was the hardest laws to master. In fact, only one other person was recorded to possess two laws and he lived in the primordial era. No one knew where this legendary figure went, but many assume he became a god.

Ye Tian was floating up in the sky while descending slowly, but he appeared like a blazing sun that could melt everything in his way. His eyes were wide opened, his facial expression was downright dominant and yearning to kill more. No one ever expected that he had this kind of oppressive aura where even infinite dao cultivators would have to be really cautious against him.  No one also knew that the reason he snapped and exuded a war god aura, was because ever since he was a child he had always been scared of snakes. Nightmares upon nightmares from past incidents caused him to have no mercy on any snakes.

Once Ye Tian landed, no one was brave enough to speak. He was holding the monster core, which had a very unique color and aura than the rest. He threw it to Ma Qian, and said, “This is probably what your friend is looking for.” Fang Meng was surprised as she never expected that Ye Tian could sense her. Since she was found out, she jumped out and turned into a transparent young woman.

“Thank you…..” Fang Meng said to Ye Tian. She has been waiting for this day to reunite her soul sparks after so long. She created a triangular spirit formation on the monster core. Three cracks appeared.

“I can transfer the qi energy to three people, who should I give it to?” Fang Meng simply said.

“Just give it to them, I don’t need it.” Ye Tian quickly replied than retreated a few steps back.

The monster core separated into three parts within the spirit formation, then sucked out the energy and transferred it to Ma Qian, Lin Yang, and Xiang Jiao. A blue soul spark could be seen once the monster core separated. Fang Meng whispered something, which the soul spark flew inside Fang Meng. Fang Meng was glowing much brighter than before. Her figure is still transparent, but it was much brighter than before. She was very happy at this moment, then mentioned to the group that there are bigger treasures in the lower levels.

“The higher treasure you seek, the higher danger there is. Do you still want to seek more?”
