Chapter Twenty five: The Biggest Jack Pot Of My LIFE!

Chapter Twenty five: The Biggest Jack Pot Of My LIFE!

Gabe walked around the city for a few hours, ducking into crowds and into ally ways. Changing his Channeler's level back and forth to be untraceable. It wasn't that he didn't trust Vernon, but he wasn't going to take any risks he didn't have to here while he was so close. After all, more then half of his life had been dedicated to finding this Treasure store. He couldn't let rumors get out of where it was or what was in it when before he even had a chance to see for himself. Sisfar hadn't told him much about it, only that he had collected Heavenly Treasures for millennia. And protected them in a cave. He'd already proven that he had high grade Alchemy books which were worth a fortune themselves with the secret recipes they held. And he had mentioned a few things over the years. Gold rings stolen from a small Family house he had raided. Pills in every Element. One time use Move medallions that allowed a Single High powered move to be stored in them. Even a few Beasts he kept for Experiments with his alchemy. Gabe had never sat down and forced Sisfar to tell him everything. Mostly because he had a deep fear that the whole place would be empty when he got there. and knowing what was there would only make him feel worse about it when he found it that way. But being so close he felt different about it. He was finally going to see this place, ten years of waiting had led him here and to this moment. His heart was filled with more emotion then he thought it would be, as it tried to guess what he would find here. He left the city disguised as a poorly dressed level one Tyke realm Channeler, with a torn coat on his shoulders and cheep boots. He stepped out into the desert with sand dunes and Red clay ridges everywhere. He walked a ways away from the gate until the the city was out of sight and then summoned Sisfar. The ship appeared in front of him hovering above the ground on the purple Mist cloud that never revealed the under belly of the haunted object. The ship was now big enough for him to climb onto. He stood on the deck which was solid and wooden. And he looked the rest of the ship over. It may have been the size of a house boat but it was built like a warship. Three hefty sails, that came up to his chest. A helm that was smaller then his boot. And a few cabins that looked like they led to the lower decks. Gabe was really curios about what the inside of the ship looked like but the doors were way too small to fit him. Maybe if the ship kept growing he would be able to explore it’s depths.

they were off! The ship underneath him hovered into the sky and started increasing in speed heading towards the towering mountains in the distance. Moving upwards and over the land like an arrow. It was slow compared to the Pegasus Gabe had just rode on, but was also much faster then Gabe expected the weird flying ship to go. The land zoomed by beneath them and the Yellow belly mountains came into full view only less than a day later. A thousand miles had gone by underneath them filled mostly with desert and wild creatures. Three more hours of Incredible speed later and they were over the giant mountains instead of the desert with the yellow rocks and specks spread all throughout the giant gray cliffs and raised peaks. The yellow stone was just cheep Daisy quarts, and worth nothing to anyone, even to Alchemists who could turn literal Dragon dung into something valuable. Gabe told Sisfar to take him wherever the Hidden treasure trove was. and Sisfar laughed like a maniac as he zoomed through the mountain range excited to finally be back in his old hunting ground, He almost thought the day would never come. They avoided all the other flying beings, and kept a great distance from places in the mountains Sisfar knew were inhabited by monsters they couldn’t fight. He knew these mountains like he knew himself, and was able to avoid every area that had any value to Powerful beasts, as well as tale the very safest path they could take. After all, Gabe’s safety was his safety.

The mountain range was miles high, and over ten thousand miles long but they were much closer to Sisfar's treasure where they entered than had they come from the other side of the range. Gabe wondered what he looked like, riding a mystical flying ship through the sky. Standing with his arms crossed at the bow tyrannically. His face was stoic and thoughtful like a prince among men. But Deep inside he felt both worry for the danger around, and glee at finally having made it. The deeper they made it into the range, the taller the mountains became, their peaks becoming snow capped and their beauty increasing. The tall heights and yellow flecks that looked like a gold dusting gave a feeling of great Magnificence. The world of Primeway held many unbelievable sights and places, but the grace of this mountain range was very understated. Very self standing. It was like nature was at rest here. In the distance a dragon roar split the air like sheet metal being torn in two. the call bellowed in the air like the shock wave of an explosion. it made Sisfar turn sharply away from it. "Everything alright Sisfar?" Gabe asked alarmed at the Dragon roar and the anger portrayed in it’s haunting tone. "Yeah, yeah kid. I don't think it's been long enough. I'm sure Malcan can't fly yet." Gabe turned to the direction the roar had come from. "Was that Malcan?" Sisfar sighed. "Yes. The petty Dragon was the laughing stock of the mountain. Tried to fight me once... I cut off his wings so now he hates me." Gabe blanched. "You cut off a Dragon's wings?!! And he knows we're here?" Cutting off a Dragon's wings was considered the cruelest form of punishment for a dragon. The wings grew back slowly and painfully, taking thousands of years to form again and each year it took the pain in it’s bones would increase. While they grew the Dragon couldn't cultivate, spending all his Cultivation energy on restoring his wings. While most beasts didn't need wings to fly once they passed a certain stage in cultivation, a Dragon's greatest weakness was his wings. Unless it had a unique trait or was capable of speed healing it’s wings back, it would stay grounded. There were of course some Dragons without wings, and these were considered much more dangerous to fight. And there were healing artifacts that would help the wings grow back, but not just any dragon could get his claws on one. Especially after his wings were already cut. "Yes, he was a real pain in my neck and always had a nasty attitude towards me." Sisfar said, sounding a little worried. “he likely could sense I was here but he’ll have no way to get to us for now.” Gabe clenched his teeth, of course Sisfar would have enemies, with his personalty it was likely not even his own race would like him. That was likely why he lived alone out here in these mountains instead of with a hoard.

Fortunately the dragon never appeared or roared again and The only beasts that got near them seamed too busy to care about a flying ship with a channeler on it. Sisfar realy did know how to trek through these mountains without running into trouble. They finally stopped on a ten foot ledge under a towering cliff wall. "This is it kid. I hope your ready to be rich." Sisfar said like he was doing Gabe the biggest favor of his life. Gabe hopped down onto the ledge and pulled the haunted ship back into his soul room. The gray stone of the cliff was only broken up by the Yellow Quarts patches all over it. The moment Gabe stepped off Sisfar’s deck he felt the chill of the wind and the bitter cold of being so high up. That haunted ship had protected him from the cold and wind somehow. "Where is It Sisfar, I don't see anything here." Sisfar let out a long sigh in Gabe's soul space. "Of course you don't! If you could see it then it wouldn't be very hidden would it. Take two paces to the left and walk straight towards the cliff face focusing on walking through it. It's very important that you imagine yourself walking through it like it isn't there." Gabe followed the instructions to the letter and walked right up to the cliff before shrugging. "What now?" he stood nose to nose with the cliff face. Sisfar grunted. "What did you stop for?! you have to walk through the rock." Gabe kicked the rocks in front of him with his foot to check just how solid it was, his boot bounced off the stone like it was a normal cliff. "I'm pretty sure I can't do that." "It's an illusion kid I put it there myself. You think this is hard? It’s just the start, just wait till you actually get through it. Now back up at least six paces and try again. And keep walking this time." Gabe sighed, it wasn't like walking into the cliff would hurt him. He had Bodily toughness probably stronger then this rock anyway. But it would feel pretty stupid to bounce off of it just like his kick had. He followed the instructions anyway, knowing Sisfar was telling the truth since he could no longer fight Gabe’s control. And as he came up to the cliff he kept walking as though he was going through a doorway. His eyes widened as he stepped through the cliff like it was just air. Not even feeling it brush across his skin. He walked right into a warm golden chamber. With shining gold lining every surface of the floors walls and ceiling. There was no way out though, or at least there didn't seam to be one. Gabe took a moment to truly absorb his situation. This proved it.. the treasure store was real. Sisfar had been telling the truth about there being treasure here, it felt almost surreal to see it in the flesh. Gabe looked at his reflection in the gold across the room and grinned.

"Now kid, turn right and walk until your standing directly in front of the Wall." Gabe followed instructions, knowing that if he died Sisfar died. And Sisfar did not want to die. He would trade anything for his life. "Now turn left and Continue walking. don’t step off the path I’m telling you to take. Even when the fear hits you don't stop. Go right through the Wall. Be prepared to feel extremely terrified, but know that it's only a trap not real." Gabe turned left and took three steps before he felt it, the familiar fear. Only much more powerful then Sisfars weak version in his bottle. Gabe pushed through it though. His heart rate increased with each step and his mind screamed that he was going to die if he continued. Gabe smiled and laughed at himself and the unnatural reaction. So what if he might die here, He'd take that risk. He stepped through the gold wall almost like he wasn’t bothered at all, and walked into a into a dark cave. The fear stopping immediately. Sisfar was a bit taken aback. Had the kid really come this far? He knew Gabe had built up a resistance to fear but still… he wasn’t even shaken. Even a totem realm Channeler might fall prey to that fear trap. Taking a wrong step that would trigger a much worse fate in that room. Gabe really was a monster. Sisfar didn’t know how to feel about it. on one hand Gabe’s talent meant the kid would have better chances of survival which meant Sisfar also had better chances… but it also meant that no matter how useful Sisfar became the Kid would never Actually need him. Sisfar started thinking about what he could do to keep Gabe from pulling the trigger and getting rid of him but it was out of his hands now. He thanked the hells for changing his bottle into this powerful ship, otherwise it would already be over for him.

Gabe’s soul sense told him the cave he had entered was small, and damp. And there was a door. Sealed with a Rune lock in front of him. Gabe slowly walked towards it. "Push the yellow stone to the right of the rune in the middle. And then let it go." Gabe found the hidden button and then pushed it. Rune locks were usually opened by incantations, or blood. Even just touching the rune and it could sense your identity. It was interesting that Sisfar used a simple button. The lock vanished and the door popped open. Gabe stepped through it into a larger cave room. Lit by pale forever candles hung from the ceiling. There were shelves of books lining the wall to his right, and shelves of items to his left. There was even a passage to another room in front of him, this one had no door and he could see a large cavern on the other side. The walls of this place were lined with a faintly glowing energy and had large powerful protection runes at each corner. This place was built to be a fortress. The moment he crossed the threshold he felt it. Powerful artifacts you couldn’t sense from outside, and Hevenly treasures. Things that radiated with unique signatures were everywhere. And the whole cavern wafted with highly Pure Chaos spirit energy in the air. It felt like a high grade Treasure land in here. Gabe's jaw dropped. He didn't know what to look at first it was all so much! He could feel so many things pulling at him. It felt like He'd just walked into the Treasury of a Powerful Family house, and he had the license to take whatever he wanted. "Sisfar.... Why is there so much Spirit energy in here? You don't have a heavenly treasure that puts out spirit energy do you? And why was it so easy to get in here." There were very rare and powerful Treasures that produced Spirit energy all on their own. But only in low quantities, and low Quality of course. It took thousands of years for it to saturate an area of a mile or so depending on the condition of the artifact. But Still they were extremely valuable and sought after as they could be put inside a space bubble and create a mobile sacred land filled with energy by a family.

"No kid. It's the mountains energy. They sit on top of an ainchant treasure land. And block off the energy coming from below like a cork. I found a vent that leads down to it and lets out it’s energy, that is why I set up shop in this cave and that's why I made my Treasure store here as well. The mountains are mostly useless otherwise. And had you made one wrong move in that gold room, or tried any other way to open that look, or even tried to forcefully open that cliff face… you would have died like a dog." Gabe paused, aside from being so close to dying while coming in here, it was the fact there was a treasure land under these mountains that really shocked him, and not just a normal one, a high grade treasure land. If that was true then if anyone discovered that fact there would be a war over these mountains for sure. They were in a no man's land, but with such pure spirit energy underneath them they wouldn't stay that way. Gabe could only imagine the greed that would bubble with this news. Gabe's mind filled with questions each more exciting then the last. Was there a way to get to the treasure land below? How long had all of Sisfar's treasures been sitting in this pure spirit energy and growing in power? How rich was he to become? Was that Silver fairy dust in that jar on the shelf? But all his questions were put on hold when a voice interrupted him. "Who dares enter my House!!!" The deep grumbling Voice of a Tall dark skinned man with a Long dark beard and blood shot eyes sounded. And the sight of his angry figure standing in the doorway to the next room interrupted Gabe's happiness. Gabe stepped back, feeling the man's power. He was a totem Realm Channeler with The element of Fire. And far to powerful to escape from. "Ah......." was all Gabe could answer. His mind began to flood with a million ways he was going to die. And as hard as he tried he couldn't think of one single way to not do so if this power house wanted to kill him. "Summon me!" Sisfar shouted as though he had a plan. One which Gabe could not fathom. Gabe watched as the crazy looking Totem Channeler walked slowly towards him. "Who are you!" He shouted. "And how did you get in here!!" "Summon me now kid!!" Sisfar yelled again demanding Gabe do it now. There wasn't much room in here, maybe about twice Sisfar's length In each direction. Gabe didn't want to anger this man by seaming aggressive and calling forth his soul beasts, but he felt like if Sisfar had made this place then Maybe the demon ship had a few tricks up his sleeve to save both their lives. He called Sisfar out of his soul room with a prayer to the heavens and the large three sailed Ship appeared directly in front of him. Gabe’s soul sense told him the Totem Channeler had stopped and was looking at the ship curiously. "Is this your soul-beast?" The man said curiously his voice rough but much calmer than his eyes. Sisfar shouted at him. "No you Idiot! I am your master!" at those words Gabe took a long step back and his jaw dropped, how could Sisfar be so tactless right now. but The man's eyes widened at the ship's voice like he’d seen his mother raise from the dead. "S...S...Sisfar? Is that you?" His voice trembled for a second and then he immediately summoned his own soul beast, a Third eye Rabbit. The Red Rabbit stood on Two legs and was about six feet high with ears that reached up a full foot above that and came to a point. It's front paws had Runes drawn on the bottom of them that looked like eyes, and it's face was angry looking. With two fierce black eyes, and another fully white Eye on its forehead that never blinked. Third eye rabbits were Ancestor realm beasts and were descended from All seeing rabbits. Which were a low Blooded Deity beast. They were also known to be some of the weakest Beasts on the Geo continent, only useful as foreseers. Which meant this man was not born on this continent.

Foreseers were Beasts that had extra Sensory vision, that allowed them to see things no'one else could see even with soul sense. They were very useful, and were the only way to tell a child's Potential before they became Channelers. As they could see into someone's soul like peaking through a living room window. Some more powerful Foreseers could also see into the future vaguely. And some could catch criminals or find treasures by pulling knowledge from the heavens and seeing on more than one plain. Every major power on primeway had at least one master foreseer on their payroll. But ones with any talent for the art were rare.

The totem realm Channeler had his Rabbit look deeply at Sisfar with its third eye. Gabe felt the powerful Soul sense even from where he was standing. It wafted off an air of enlightenment that tingled the nose and skin. "It's him." The Rabbit said with a growl. It’s expression getting even angrier. "It's the demon." Sisfar laughed as if he wasn't bothered at all and all the word was his to command. The Channeler with his long dark hair and beard fell forward onto one knee with his head bowed. "Master! Welcome back." He said as the rabbit soul beast Disappeared. Gabe was stunned by the whole scene. This high level Totem Channeler was A slave to Sisfar? "Kid I would like you to meet my Acolyte Malner." Gabe stepped around the large ship in the middle of the room and looked at the man with confused eyes. "Your... Acolyte?" He said in awe like he must have heard wrong. "That's right, I figured if the Family houses could have them then why not Someone as powerful as me." Sisfar said sounding very pleased with himself and his idea. "Of course you'd be Surprised at how unwilling most Channelers are to become the Acolyte of a demon.” Gabe wouldn’t be surprised at all, such a life as being the servant of a demon was like throwing your life away all together. “I had to kill so many strong and talented Channelers on all three continents before I was forced to settle with this weak trash here. But an Acolyte is an Acolyte." Sisfar knew that the only reason Malner was a Totem realm channeler was because he’d spent countless treasures and money to make him that way. As well as because the man lived and breathed in this high grade treasure land atmosphere.

Gabe looked at the bowed man with different eyes the moment he understood that this man had agreed to become an Acolyte of a demon. Probably because he was so weak and hopeless to get anywhere in life. Who knew how young he was at the time as well, spirit contracts would work for anyone above 16 years of age. "Master, where were you all these years? And... why are you in a Haunted ship?" Malner asked looking up at the ship. His face was humble, But His eyes Spoke of hatred and insanity. It was like he couldn’t make up his mind if he was crazy or not. "I was attacked." Sisfar said. "By that stupid Angel's father. He nearly killed me before I was able to transfer my soul into this ship." Gabe had heard the story before many years ago. Sisfar had always been scared of death. Which was funny because he was a Fear element demon. He had lost a fight with the furious Angel Who came to avenge his daughter, who Sisfar had killed and ground up into angel powder for personal use. The angel had broken his spine in the fight and threw him into a near by city. Sisfar crashed through hundreds of buildings before he came to a stop in a mess of debris and blood. With no hope left of survival and none of his tricks left up his sleeve. He transferred his soul into the Ship in a bottle that was beside him before the angel came to delve the final blow, a beam of sun light that melted the entire city and destroyed Sisfar’s original body. Without his body near by to try and undo the transfer, he was stuck in the bottle forever. Gabe had asked why the bottle had survived the attack, but Sisfar wasn’t sure ether. Once a soul entered an object that item became nearly unbreakable without special runes and devices. Still the way Sisfar described the beam made it seam like the bottle wouldn’t have survived ether. But such was life, mysteries abounded everywhere. And Sisfar survived for ages afterwards. Which was Just long enough to ruin Gabe’s life.

"And who is this Master?" Malner asked looking at Gabe. He wore a plain brown hood with nothing else underneath, and Gabe noticed a large scar going down the side of his neck under that hood. "This is Gabriel. My.... master." He said the word like he hated admitting it but couldn’t use another. Malner's eyes widened slightly as Sisfar continued. "From now on you will do whatever he tells you to do. and you will not harm him or allow him to come to harm. And that's an order." Malner nodded Vigorously. "Yes master." Gabe put Sisfar back in his soul room and the ship dissolved into empty space. He was Glad Sisfar had done that even without his say so, but he could have forced the demon to do it if he wanted. Melnar looked at him with shock and Uncertainty his mind not stable enough to celebrate the fact that he’d just gone from being servant to a demon to being servant to a human being, which depending on the Human’s temperament was a great blessing. Nothing could describe the awfulness of being a demon’s slave. Malner Still bowed down on one knee waiting for his command like a dog. Gabe looked at him with a growing smile, he felt deeply for this poor soul who would be Sisfar’s servant. It was too close to what he himself had once been when he was still afraid of the demon as a child. "You can get up now." He said with a heavy heart. He couldn't imagine what it had been like, in this man’s life for so long. Gabe wished to set the man free. And he made a promise to himself that he would one day do just that. But first he would have to borrow some of Malner’s strength. This Cave and this servant were exactly what he needed to fully make use of his already powerful gifts.

“Malner tell me, would you mind showing me around this cave.” Malner blinked only once before nodding. “Yes.. master. I will show you everything.” The Big man led him with a nod and began to explain the the layout as they walked. The round walled room adjourned to the entry room where they had just met was the middle of the Cave, and was mostly empty besides a small bed and desk in the corner. This room was where most of Malner’s studies were done, proven by the stacks of books in the corner, each about various moves, items, beasts, or techniques for foreseeing Channelers. A few were thick story books for entertainment purposes only, those had their own pile and were well worn indeed. This was also the place where Malner had lived for the past one hundred Millennia. Sleeping on the only bed in the corner near the books. A bed that would have long degraded if not for the high Grade Spirit energy in the air that kept everything in crisp condition indefinitely. The walls were just gray rough cut stone and the lighting was just candles hung from the ceiling. Gabe wondered how the man had done it, live in such a drab place for so long. It was no wonder Malner had more then a few mental ticks. Like his twitching mouth, and restless hands that never seamed to know where they should be as he walked.

There were Five doors in the large circle room not including the entry way which had no Door and was just a rectangular hole in the stone. Each led through a different short hall and into a Specific carved out room. Malner took Gabe through all of them starting with the right most door and working to the left most. The first one led to an Alchemy chamber, where Sisfar had put all his supplies for alchemy years ago. This place was a treasure trove all it's own. The room was about Sixty foot long and wide, and had Large alchemy pots, long shelves of rare and very rare treasure materials, Even three different Spirit Furnaces for various uses with long tables of expensive equipment next to them. Gabe looked it all over with absolute glee. This was better than the Alchemy lab of a great sage. over Half of this stuff he had no idea how to use, but Sisfar would be his guide as he dove even deeper into the world of Alchemy. He smiled the entire time he was in the room, that was covered with layers of dust, but still in perfect condition.

The next room was the Treasury. Or the room where Sisfar had just tossed all the money he had stolen over the many years of his life. It was a lot. More then Gabe could rightly fathom just looking at it. It was filled with at least several hundred million Gold rings stacked and piled waist high throughout the room as well as at least a hundred thousand high grade spirit crystals and who knows how many of low grade. These crystals were what the major families used for money when the price rose to a ridicules amount, the fortune of just the gold alone was overpowering, but only a family or other major player in the world would have so many Spirit crystals stocked up. There were also silver and Copper rings scattered like they were just trash around the pile. In fact All of the money was hap hazarly thrown around as if it was never needed or used. and it wasn’t. for Sisfar who was a Powerful demon with too many tricks to counter and the rare ability to break spirit contracts which only a handful of demons even knew about, he just stole whatever he wanted like it was free he barely touched money except to put it all in this room. Just looking at the piles and piles made Gabe suddenly have to take a moment to absorb the Fortune he was looking at. Just how much was this…. more than enough to buy his pitiful poor boy life a trillion times over. This was enough to buy anything on the market no matter grade rank or scarcity, if it was for sell he could now afford it in mass. And if it wasn’t for sell this money could likely higher someone to steal it. It was a fortune that would never see him working for money again in his Life no matter how quick he spent it It would take at least forty generations to spend all of this wealth. He almost felt like crying, but Found himself just grinning instead. His smile in the alchemy room was small compared to his gleaming laugh now. He found a pile of well crafted space pouches next to the door. Sisfar had dumped the Fortune from these pouches to have it all in one place in the open where he could see it and just chucked the bags that held all this money in the lonely corner. Gabe quickly sifted through them and liberated the highest quality one. It was a pouch Pacificly designed for holding money likely used by a powerful man long ago, it was solid white and made of the finest silk in the world, With jewels encrusted on it’s side in a powerful rune that kept the bags contents hidden from prying soul senses. Gabe began to fill it up with as much money as he could in brazen handful, for him this money would pave a rode straight to ascension if this was all that was in this treasure store he would have been ever satisfied, but he knew there was still more to come and it turned his stomach to think about. he enlisted Malner to help him fill the bag to it’s fullest as quick as possible. Scoping the Gold and silver coins into the wide mouth of the purse at his super powered speed it still took Them fifteen minutes. The Bag was able to hold upwards of a million and a half Coins but half of that room was taken up by the large and high quality spirit crystals which meant this bag held enough wealth for a small nation to be started. Gabe grinned, and tied the purse to his robe next to his Space pouch. This wasn’t even a fifth of the money stacked to the ceiling in this huge treasury. Sisfar had spent eternities robbing and pillaging before he wound up in that bottle. Living much longer than any human ever could.

Gabe walked beside Malner back to the main room and then to the third door to the left proudly storing his new fortune on his belt as they opened the door to a Channeling Chamber. This room was carpeted with plush Velvet carpet that gave off a relaxing aura, and had a bright red colored cushion directly in the middle of the small secluded place for meditation, even this pillow was an artifact and helped with Channeling. Runes were also drawn all over the walls that would increase Draw and Channeling efficiency. And several items that helped focus and Cultivation were set around the room on well crafted desks and tables. There was even Two high grade Harmony Channeling bells which were worth more than everything in this room combined. Beasts cultivated naturally, and didn't need to meditate to grow in power they only needed to be around their element of Spirit energy and they would purify it passively. But some creatures with intelligence could use these techniques to gain power quicker. Sisfar had obviously worked hard here to grow faster in he Cultivation. "I hope master doesn't mind, but I have been using this room for my own cultivation." Malner admitted, his eyes turned down like he was ashamed or scared of being punished. Sisfar cursed inside Gabe's head. "That dirty trash has been using my sacred Room!" Gabe forced him to be quiet the moment he opened his mouth. Sisfar really didn’t see this Totem realm channeler as anything but dirt, Gabe sighed in his heart. "Yes, it is fine." Gabe stated with a calm voice not paying any mind to it as he went about the room checking out every sacred item like it was for sell and he was buying. Malner looked at him expecting some kind of rebuke but saw only disinterest. He had only admitted using this room now because it would not be hard for Sisfar to see once he looked around. Things were moved, items were used. And one of the Harmony bells was losing some of it's power after so much use. malner had been scared about this room since the moment his master had returned, Sisfar had never ordered him not to use it, but it was implied that it was off limits and he would get yet another punishment for even touching some of the items in here.

"In fact please continue to use this room whenever I'm not here." Gabe’s words brought The man's eyebrows into an upside down V. shape. and he looked at Gabe with confused eyes for a moment. But was quickly brought out of it when Gabe’s questions about this place continued. "Is this where the Vent to the treasure land is?" Gabe asked stepping over to the far and looking around it. The Spirit energy was just slightly thicker in this room than the others, and near this wall it seamed just a hair purer than the rest of the room, only a highly sensitive soul would be able to feel it though. "Yes, it's on the right end over there." Malner answered after coming out of his surprise and pointed. Gabe walked over to the right corner and found it. It was an open hole in the stone about wide enough to plug with a carrot, and high purity Spirit power was poring out of it in all the elements of Chaos. Most treasure lands had a pacific element that stuck out above the others like death or fear, though all would be present to some degree. But some rare ones had no specialty and had equal purity of all the elements in a single class. And this treasure land had all the elements of chaos. This was very good news as it meant Gabe could cultivate with all his Beasts at full potential here. And with Such a king’s Cultivation room and High quality Spirit energy he would grow faster then he could wrap his mind around standing in this room alone had amped up the output of the Gaint’s tear around his neck by five fold what it put out at the low quality treasure land of the Greenwoods. He was cultivating more energy through his eleven beasts here without meditation, than anyone in the nearby farming city could cultivate in a weak no matter how powerful they were or how hard they tried.

The hole in the wall was a simple pipe like tube of rock that went down the mountain, and Gabe's soul sense told him it went incredibly far down. He barely could sense a fraction of the distance it would have to go to reach the the treasure land so hidden in the earth. He wondered curiously if there were any other vents like this along the mountain range, or possibly a passage way that would allow him to get to the treasures that must be down there. "Sisfar is there a way to get down to this Treasure land? How do you know it's even down there?" He asked in his head. Sisfar answered with frustration about being forced to silence just a minute ago and now being forced to answer questions. "No, I have searched this mountain from corner to corner. I've looked in every cave, searched every mountain individually inch by inch. It's one of the reasons why I know them so well. But there isn't even another vent in the entire range, this is the only one. I found it by shear chance myself in my younger days. And the only reason I know there's a treasure land underneath it is because I found a written journal that described a Thousand year war over the Place a billion years or so ago." Gabe pursed his lips in thought. "Do you still have this journal?" Sisfar grunted. "Nope, Got too old and crumbled in my hands. The rune preserving it too old to even date the language. That was a long time ago, it’s been forever since I’ve even thought about it." Gabe wondered just how long this treasure land had been sitting with no’one to forge it’s treasures away, and no bests to eat or even find them. He decided that Nothing could be done about the treasure land at the moment, even with the possibility of countless heavenly treasures down there that would make this treasure store look cheep if he could only get to them.

The next room was the training Room. It was by far bigger then all the others combined and had a seventy foot tall ceiling carved perfectly smooth. There were a few Training dummies to the far right, rune enforced to repair themselves upon damage. And the walls, ceiling, and floor were Rune enforced to the max. "Sisfar didn't use this room much." Malner told him seaming to be the most comfortable in this room then in an other. "He didn't like exercise. Or hard work. He relied on His intelligence and Strength mostly." such a statement could likely be said about all of demon kind. Gabe nodded like he expected as much, keeping the angry Sisfar from speaking about the comment in his soul room. He looked around and his Already brimming smile grew again, his mouth was getting tired from the overuse of face mussels but he couldn’t stop it. This would be the perfect place to train, filling out almost all of the utilities in this hideaway. Already Gabe planed to move here as soon as he finished his year with the Greenwoods, and he only wanted to finish that year because of Seygo otherwise he’d likely just leave Colin to his own survival and not return there at all just cultivating in this place for the next stretch of his life. He spotted a wall on the left of the room with Hundreds of weapons and swords lining it all of which were top quality and a few of which were real treasure level, he walked briskly over to it after giving the rest of the room the once over. His training with Seygo had made him a sword lover, the other weapons were nice but it was the swords he looked at with a smile. "Um.. master I'm sorry but I..." Malner walked beside him with hesitation on his face. When Gabe saw the weapons up close he knew why. Many of them were broken and chipped. Their edges showing cracks and missing metal. A few of the swords had the blade snapped in two, and some of those were the very best of this arsenal. All of these weapons were high quality, and expensive. Worth more then Gabe and Colin could have afforded until today. There were maybe three swords and a spear or two that were Too high quality to be so broken by a totem Realm, but even they looked very worn. Still these were pieces of art. Beautiful designs made from Strengthened steal and With Runes enchanting them that were drawn with some of the highest quality Materials. One looked to be drawn on with silver fairy dust, it was clearly the stand out of the entire wall. And was in the best condition through sheer toughness. Gabe took it off the wall. It was light in his hands, and sharp. He felt power flowing from it in levels he couldn't even comprehend, this was the weapon for a master far above his realm. The blade had a sheath on the wall that he also took down and was a long katana. The hilt was a simple dragon leather wrapped hand hold, with silver and red specks in the mettle at the bottom and top of it where it connected to the blade. The metal of the blade was solid black steal, with runes on both sides and silver flecks sparkling in each design. "I'm sorry master. I have used most of your weapons. And after such a long time they have degraded. I tried not to overuse any one of them, but I still failed and ruined many treasures that did not belong to me.” Gabe turned to Malner who was looking down at the ground. It was odd seeing such at powerful man worried about a little thing like bothering Gabe. But power was a blind and didn’t just come in the form of strength. Do to his contract with Sisfar and Sisfar’s last order Gabe could easily have the man’s life with a single order or cause him to torture himself as punishment, Most Acolyte contracts made sure that unreasonable orders weren’t part of the deal, but Gabe had a feeling Sisfar had not excluded it. Taking full control of this man’s life. What dire situation had lead Malner to accept such terms Gabe couldn’t imagine. "you have been Training with the sword?" Gabe asked completely uncaring about the condition of the weapons. He was too happy already to feel any loss about the things he'd just inherited. He could buy even better treasures with the money he had in his pocket now sisfar had only taken these as an afterthought since he didn’t use weapons to fight. Malner looked at Gabe’s still relaxed expression and nodded quickly. "Yes master I have trained in sword, staff, mace, spear, knife, and axe." Gabe kept Sisfar's anger tamped down The Demon was really getting upset about his stuff being damaged and would almost certainly punish Malner If he could, over just this cheep junk. Gabe expected it from such a petty creature as Sisfar and didn’t let it bother his own mood. Because it was Gabe in control now. the monster had made his own bed by forcing Gabe to bond with him, and Sisfar would never wake up from sleeping in it his life would forever be in Gabe all powerful grasp. "How good are you?" Gabe asked Malner who scratched his beard with one hand and his head with the other. "These last millennia I have learned a lot. I am best with the spear, but I am a master of all of the weapons here… ugh… perhaps not with the dagger as it’s forms are hard to practice without a training partner." Gabe felt his heart skipping beats. Had he just gained a Sword master, who’s had nothing to do but practice for countless years? "Here, take this and show me how good." Gabe thrust the powerful blade into Malner’s hand. The man looked at him with wide eyes and worry that he had overstated his skill. "Ugh, perhaps I am not as good as…" Gabe shook his head and interrupted. "I am your master now. Forget about Sisfar, or how you were treated in the past. Today is a new day. And your ownership has changed to a much kinder person. Consider Sisfar a bad dream, and only look forward from now on. I promise you things will get much better. Now show me your skill with the sword." Malner nodded not convinced at all, but that was to be expected. he had been a slave so long that his mind had grown into it like a foot that had never taken off it’s first shoe and conformed into the wrong shape… it was likely permanent and he would forever be in that state of mind. And the long years living alone here did not help in the slightest. Malner went to the training dummies and began showing his skills with the beautiful blade. Gabe was an awe from the moment the Malner took his first swing. The man kept his speed to a low rate instead of going to fast for gabe to see and did twirls and jabs, striking and moving with perfect form, his intent in each attack was to kill without reserve and for a brief moment Gabe saw his eyes clear for the first time showing he was still alive and vibrant on the inside. He had mastered all seven Strikes of the Seventh night Sword. Which was a master level Sword move that allowed the Channeler to gain speed and strength with every blow he struck. Meaning he could gain power with every strike until he overcame his enemy. This was a well documented sword technique. But it’s details and it’s unique energy control method were kept secret by the handful of major Families and leagues that had access to it. Shown only to the highest talents and highest standing sword masters. For Malner to have it meant That Sisfar had managed to steal this highly kept secret long ago. Gabe was excited because now he also had the opportunity to learn this secret sword art, and he also had a personal tutor to teach it to him.

Malner also showed several other master sword moves and preformed them with expertise. When he finished Gabe applauded, his estimation of his own prowess with weapons was a major underestimation. He held the sword like it was a part of his soul, and he executed every move with precise skill and force. He was as good as any sword master in a league or family, his only weakness, was that he’d never actually used any of that technical skill in life or death combat. All he had were books and practice. If he were to progress any further, he would need to bloody his sword against an equal opponent to calibrate what he knew with true fighting experience,

Malner handed back the sword not even out of breath from all of those techniques. He knew at least a dozen powerful sword arts, and likely countless beginner ones. And yet he claimed he was even better with the spear. "You are incredible. Did you learn all this from books and manuals?" Gabe said. Already planning to spend a lot of time with this man in the future. "The library in the front room has many Books on many things. I've learned everything in there that I am capable of doing with my traits and elements." Gabe remembered the length and depth of the book shelves in that first room, and knew that all of those books would be just as expensive and high grade as everything else in this store. Sisfar really did have an eye for the finer things in life. With still one more room to examine, Gabe placed the sword in his regular space pouch for later use and continued the tour.
