"WOOOOOSH!!!" The sound of air rushing through a canyon rung in Gabe's head. On his knees he looked ahead with his eyes out of focus. But not his soul sense. Gabe felt the rush of power that had been building in his skull release in a torrent of light. No'one around him saw it, but he did. Suddenly he could see. And not just See like a good channeler, but truly see. Everything was in his awareness. Every detail of every speck of the universe for miles around was pouring into his vision. He saw the fighting outside the building. The faces of all the Deity level Channelers, and the hands of those moving too fast to be noticed. He saw the beasts still running from the ever increasing nuclear bomb like war destroying hundreds of miles of the ancient treasure land. And what's more, Gabe even saw the energy. The very Geo, Chaos, and Celestial energy that flowed around every living person and thing. "I'm..... I'm okay." Gabe said to his demons who had erected another shield around him. They looked at him with curiosity, and he could see their unspoken wish in their faces. That he would just fall down and die right there. But their desire would remain unfulfilled. Because Gabe just figured out what had been causing the headaches and fainting. The black pearl from the treasure hold. Somehow... it had granted him this unrivaled soul sense. And it had taken this long for him to finally receive it.
Stepping out of his contemplating state, Gabe decided it was time to get out of there. He started pointing at demons and ordering them around. "Alright! You Two! Pick up miss Seygo and shield her as you take her through the gateway. And you three I want you to shield the Phoenixes and take them out of here with her." The demons jumped quickly to do his demands, compelled by the unbreakable power he had over them. Gabe turned to the other dozen or so demons and ordered they follow him. They looked at each other with question but didn't speak as they obeyed. Gabe and the demons left with him marched briskly through the halls in a jagged pattern avoiding traps that Gabe could now see while taking perfect Paths and short cuts that Gabe could also now see. He was heading to something Gabe could barely wait to get his hands on. As they stepped through a few hidden doors, the demons began to wonder how Gabe knew so much about the place, they had not sensed the openings. But they didn't speak.
As they approached the pedestal, without a shield around it. There sat a Dragon Cocoon mask. The demons around Gabe now understood why Gabe had left so many other treasures behind and yet came for this one, they were close enough to sense it's extravagant Power. Gabe grinned like a maniac at the light brown mask with only teeth and no other markings on its face. The Dragon Cocoon mask was a legend all over Primeway. It was Believed to be buried where no'one could get to it, but clearly the Wooden-Thunder family had found and excavated it. How they had kept it a secret was a miracle. This mask was an S Grade Heavenly Treasure, that when worn would open all soul channels of the Channeler and increase their rate of Growth to nearly five times their max. Even Deity Realm Channelers got a huge boost. And when sitting untouched, the mask would absorb spirit energy in mass to help quicken it's output for its next cultivation session. No other treasure on Primeway had ever been known to speed growth so well, it was attune to having four extra soul beasts. Or in Gabe’s case forty. Gabe's vision told him there was no traps around it, this room was so hidden and out of the way traps should have been redundant as no’one should be able to figure out the way here. The amount of spirit energy he could see going in to it and out of it was astounding. It looked to his soul sense like a fourth sun. there was no shield protecting it (probably because the shield would inhibit it's energy absorption) so he simply ran forward and immediately teleported it into his inner space. "Now let's get out of here." Gabe said to his demons, and they rocketed out of the temple in the blink of an eye.
Outside the battle was still going, and many injured and dead were scattered across the ground. While over a million beings fought above, sending out force waves that would turn Avatar realm Channelers to dust. In fact Gabe was certain that much of the ash floating in the air was dead channeler. "Everybody pull back to the Gateway!!!" Gabe's voice was amplified by his now regathered demon party eleven strong since one died in the vortex. all his hoard pulled back upon the order. "Save all the wounded you can!!" He let out again, and many demons swooped down and grabbed those who couldn't fly anymore. The Wooden-Thunder family was trying to take their opening, but they were still in a losing battle. Even with many different families involved, their force was still too weak. And help was only gathering one channeler at a time through portals and scrolls. They'd been caught off guard, and were not well led this sort of raid an anomaly. "Charge them! Charge them!!" One of the leaders yelled as Gabe's force retreated through the Portal backwards. But the Channelers weren't all grouped together, many were ahead of others, and some had been fighting off far in the distance. Gabe waited until almost all of his forces were on the right side of his portal, everyone but the dead and the wounded made it in time, and with them came thousands of the enemy, All of which Deity realm, and all of which stupid. Then he gave the order, and the gateway was closed instantly. Suddenly all those who had charged felt their hearts drop, they were now cut off from the majority of their forces and woefully outmatched. Gabe's demons who were winning a battle against a force many times the size of this one only a minute ago, made short work of every Channeler here with evil grins and laughter.

The Gateway was untraceable thanks to Gabe’s trait, so Gabe didn't expect anyone from the enemy to pop up anytime soon. But he did expect the Wooden-Thunder family to act quickly and retaliate as soon as they discovered who he was and where he was. So preparations needed to be made immediately. "Alright!!" He shouted to his army. "I want the girl brought here, to me. And the Phoenixes made a place for. Dig a hole in the sand if you have to but make it safe."The rest of you Begin healing the wounded, and setting up traps and alarms around this entire treasure Land!" Gabe's demands were immediately met, and his Demon counsel set out to organize the effort as per his orders.
"H...how do you control so many?" Seygo asked tentatively after she was flown up next to Gabe. Gabe's cloaked form was probably frightening her and he regretted having to use it but his plans required such sacrifice. "I am their master, there is no room for disobedience." He barely glanced at her as he hovered with his demon guards looking over the desert. He was considering how he would contact the Greenwood family and not get attacked. "You mean... you mean their all your slaves?" he had already made that clear earlier but he guessed it didn’t stick. Gabe turned to the frightened looking woman that he loved, even scared she was a sight to behold. And he could see the bravery Sparkling in her eyes. "Not all, but enough to control them all. Now tell me, how did you wind up as the Wooden-Thunder Family's prisoner?" Her eyebrows went up. "The Wooden-Thunder family?! That's who those people were?" She swore loudly and clenched her fists. "I hope to never see another one of them as long as I live. I’ll kill them all!!" Gabe grinned, and she seamed slightly put off by it. "Thank you... for rescuing me." She said sheepishly and bowed low with respect. Gabe waved her off. "I don't need Formalities, I can tell you are put off by me. Simply consider it a mutually beneficial Favor." Gabe let his face go emotionless. "Mutually beneficial... how?" She asked suddenly burning with curiosity as to who this man could be, and hoping she wasn't in a worse situation than before. Gabe kept his gaze focused on the horizon. "I need good relations with your family. I hope to earn those good relations first by rescuing you, then by destroying their enemies." Seygo paused. Her mind frozen on the words he had just said. Then with a solid poker face She spoke calmly. "You need my family's relations? Why?" Gabe almost chuckled but held it in. "Because, I've gotten my hands on some very bad news recently." He spoke with his snake like voice, suddenly looking at her. "And I'll need all the help I can get if it's true." Before he said anything more, Gabe issued the order to his demon guards to take him to the Greenwood family capital. Maybe it was a bit brash, but he needed to go straight to the top if he planed to get this done quickly. In a beam of light he and all of those hovering around him disappeared.
