Gabe, Colin, and Malner flew away from the Greenwood family house at incredible speeds. Keeping their eyes open for anyone or anything that might interfere. They needed to find a remote spot to use a Teleport scroll otherwise the portal they opened could be traced even after it was shut. After about an hour flying away from the areas Gelgar had warned him about, the three sighed with relief to not have been followed and used a teleport scroll. They walked out in a city Gabe and Colin had spent a few weeks in when Gabe was very little. This place wasn’t much but it did have plenty of dark allies so it was perfect. Besides that it was in the direction of the Hellvine territory. So if anyone followed their trail somehow they would almost certainly think that was where Gabe was heading. The three left the ally they were in and walked a full mile of the city, the slums and poverty was brutal here. Ditches of rank water ran along some of the streets in this part of town, and even the clothes the citizens wore were cheep and ragged. Gabe tossed a few copper rings to some children and homeless as they walked along. Trying to ignore the things he knew about this place. He and Colin had promised never to come back here. and if they spotted any of the criminals they had dealt with in this place Gabe planned to kill them where they stood. The three entered an abandoned shack that looked like it was about to collapse. And without a word Gabe opened another portal. They repeated this method six more times. Teleport somewhere, walk or fly for an hour, then teleport again. Sometimes through jungles, sometimes through cities, sometimes through remote mountains. All in the heading for the Hellvine lands. Then finally when Gabe thought their trail was long and winding enough, they made for the place they really wanted to go.
If the Day-vine Family sent anyone after them they would be too powerful for Malner to stop, and too good at tracking to be lost with just one Portal. But seven? Who could track through Seven Portals? Only the best of the best. A Foreseer might have to be brought in just to find half of them and at that point the Day-vine family would have to be stupid to waste so many resources on such a small matter.
After teleporting somewhat near the Yellow belly mountains they took off towards them in flight. for three hours they flew, the land below them moving so fast that it blurred. Malner looked deadly serious as he kept them in the air and made sure no’one got the better of them. Gabe saw in his eyes that the insanity he'd had when they first met was not really there anymore Melner looked much more clear headed now. The Greenwood family had been good for him, as well as finally getting out if that tiny cave. "Malner.... are you Okay with going back to the Yellow belly mountains." Gabe had never thought about it before, but the place might bring bad feelings for him. He'd been trapped there so long. "Yes, it is fine. As long as I come back out every once in a while. I enjoy the fresh air out here." He sucked in a deep breath and smiled, not worried about returning in the slightest as this time he wouldn’t be alone. As they came over the Yellow Belly mountains, and landed on the normal looking cliff Gabe let out a breath. They'd made it with no problems, a blessing indeed. Colin looked around. "Is this it? Or are we taking a break?" this place didn’t seam out of the ordinary. Gabe smiled at him and Malner simply ignored him stepping into the correct place and then walking towards the cliff like it wasn’t there. Colin's eyes bulged when the man phased right through the rock, it was a perfect illusion. Gabe took the right place too, and told Colin the cliff wasn't really there. Then he walked forward and into the Gold room, with his reflection on the walls. He stepped to the right and waited for Colin. After just a minute the Man came through the wall with awe. "Wow.... that's incredible." The power and money such an illusion would take especially on that would last all this time could not be understated. Gabe pulled his arm to the right. "Now come this way Colin and don't step to the middle of the room, this place is booby trapped." Sisfar had told him about a dozen Avatar killing Traps he had set in this room, unless someone knew the exact path to walk they would be Burned to a crisp, turned inside out, squashed, and a list of other Unpleasant demonic ways to die. Colin swallowed and followed the correct path Carefully. Then they walked through the next wall, Gabe had to pull Colin along trough the hidden door and almost drag him as the fear runes tried to scare him away and caused him to try and run instead of go forward.
Finally they made it inside and Gabe knew they were finally safe. This Place had not been found for hundreds of thousands of years even after Sisfar had killed off and stolen from so many people. It wasn’t about to be discovered just because Gabe had killed one guy. Once they unlocked the Final door Gabe gave Colin a full tour of the place. and the Worry prone man almost wet himself in excitement with all the facets and treasures about the place. To think that they were rich now, and not just any kind of rich the kind of rich that just couldn’t be spent no matter how hard you tried. His joy at seeing that Gabe’s stories about this place were true only slightly tainted by the fact that they were now being hunted by the Day-vine family. Gabe took him into the treasury, where Colin actually jumped into the piles of gold and buried himself under them like he was bathing in money. “woohooo!!!” he whooped. “Gabe I’ve never seen so much Money in my life. This is like… like the wealth of an entire family. How did one Demon steal so much?” Gabe was glad the man had Finally let go of his mood, and Jumped into the money bath as well. “I don’t know.” he lied. Knowing that the ability to break spirit contracts was almost certainly the cause Of Sisfar’s ability to Steal but not willing to tell even his closest friend about it. After spending way too much time diving through the stacks of Gold, The two continued through the rooms and finally made it to the treasure room Where Colin examined every item as if they couldn't be real. he had a look on his face that said he’d steal these treasures if Gabe wasn’t looking, his eyes unbelieving of the sheer wealth this room contained as well. "What's this?" He asked walking up to the pedestal with the Black Pearl on it, Gabe hadn't noticed before, but the red glow around it was almost twice as bright now as before he had touched it. "Don't touch that!!!" Gabe shouted and ran over to pull him back before he got to close. Colin looked at him like he was crazy. "I wasn't going to touch it, What kind of moron touches a Treasure he has no idea about." they both backed away from the Purl with haste and Gabe scratched his head chuckling. wondering why it hadn't called Colin the way it had called him. He had no choice but to touch it the first time he saw it, it had forced him too.
Gabe led Colin to the Cultivation chamber after all the other rooms and showed him where Sisfar had kept the Pills he had stored. There were hundreds of Fear pills, that being Sisfar's own element. But only a Few dozen of the other elements. Still eight high quality Life spirit energy pills would last Colin a while and it wouldn’t be long before Gabe bought more of them. Colin smiled and put them all greedily into his Pouch. Where he kept the few other lesser Quality Life pills Gabe had bought him already. It was hard to find any high quality celestial Pills on this Continent. So Gabe planned to take a trip to the Celestial continent for them. And while he was there take care of a few other things he needed to do. He might even Bring Colin along since the man Hadn’t been to his homeland in a decade.
After Colin was well initiated into the Treasure Store, and meditating in the Cultivation Room. Gabe found a good Spot in the Alchemy room to use his Treasures from the auction. He hadn't used them yet because he wanted the Greenwood family to think they belonged to Malner. Sitting down in a large wooden chair fit for a very tall demon Gabe pulled out the poison seal. It was a round Piece of soft wood, with a very intricate power mark on it on both sides like a coin. Gabe stuck it in his mouth and began to Chomp down. eating the treasure was one of the easier ways to unlock it’s potential. It tasted like dry wood, and tangled on his tongue as it slid around in his mouth releasing energy. He coughed as it went down his gullet, the dry tang almost enough to Gag over, it took drinking almost half a gallon of water to get all the Wood dust out of his throat afterwards. Once the eating was done with it took just a handful of minutes for him to feel it working in his mind body and spirit. His stomach Grumbled and moved, feeling a bit queasy like it had eaten something spoiled. He wondered if all Move learning seals felt like this or just poison ones. While his head was still digesting the information and the seal was slowly imprinting the perfect form for a high grade Martial move into his being Gabe pulled out the Gold sun Pebble that would increase is capacity for Beast slaves. He didn't have any enslaved Beasts, but he figured he would certainly have some one day and this Pebble would not work on a soul past a certain power realm so he needed to use it while his soul was still soft and malleable. Feeling safe enough inside Sisfar's treasure store, he projected his soul Outside himself. The entire Translucent Being appeared around his mortal body, much thicker and much tougher than it had been the first time he did this and the Soul rune on his stomach glowing brighter then it had that night. He quickly touched the Pebble to his soul’s Thy, the quick snap of pain followed by the bright yellow rock dissolving and absorbing into the soul, flowing into the shape of a tattoo, a power mark tattoo that only the heavens could replicate. The Tattoo glowed soft yellow for a moment, before Suddenly Gabe felt am Extreme Wave of pain strike up through his entire being. Every part of him hurt, and it didn't stop as he looked at the tattoo with wide eyes knowing this was not what it was supposed to feel like. The the power mark lit on fire. Actual Soul fire started to burn his thy and He could do nothing to stop it the pain shocking him to stillness. His mind could not comprehend what could have gone wrong. This was not a dangerous object. He watched the bright yellow fire burn his soul flaring pain up his thy like he was in a furnace and started to shake in agony unable to even speak before the flame quit just as abruptly as it had begun and the glowing powermark Tattoo began to change. It looked reminiscent of a round Sun rising over the plain before, but the design began to flow like liquid gold under the skin of his soul into the shape of a seven pointed Star. A big one with sharp points and a small dot in the center that seamed to be made of tiny little runes. Gabe had no idea what was going on his only clue was The Heavenly Tattoo on his abdomen was also glowing and power was Being taken out of his soul core and flowing into the Star Power mark. His Perfect spirit energy that was the source of his Channeling ability was being drawn out in Tides. The Perfect attune Power no force could ever remove from another beings soul was leaving him like it was only Natural to flow out instead of in, And he felt his power weaken by the second in such a heavy flow that it would take him weeks to gain that all back. He knew for a fact this Tattoo wasn't supposed to do that, but it was reacting with his heavenly rune And using his Soul core to power it's wicked plan. He’d never heard of anyone losing their cultivation like this. The soul was not made with the ability to release Spirit energy only absorb it. Like a flower that could only store sunlight and grow but couldn’t return the light. For his soul to do this was to spit in the face of everything that was known about Channeling. Gabe felt fear strike his heart, how much power would it take from him? Would it absorb all of it and leave him with Nothing? what would that do, could it kill him? What was it doing to make this happen?! As more and more power was taken the Heavenly rune started to glow brighter and brighter as it connected Deeper and Deeper with the power mark. Finally after it took a months worth of energy and left him tittering on the edge of the Champion Realm almost about to undo his entire breakthrough, it quit. Gabe's eyes widened as it just suddenly stopped and he let out a deep breath. All the glowing gave out and the terrible pain with it fading like a bad dream. He immediately put his soul Back in his body, not able to do so before while it was doing whatever it was doing. He Rubbed his hands through his short hair and let out a grunt as that seamed like all he could do. That hurt, and had set him back but he was still alive at least and still at he Champion Realm. If there was one thing Gabe truly hated with all his heart it was being set back like this. He always moved forward, always looked ahead. Now he was a month behind where he could be and that really put a fire in his heart he had to calm his emotions about it before he Finally sat up straight and decided to find out what that Powermark had done to him. Had it weakened his soul? He prayed not he didn’t feel any different at least. He'd never heard of a pair of Soul runes reacting to each other like this, the Heavenly rune had been so still all this time and now…. Gabe reminded himself the results could have been much worse. With so much power sloshing around in his soul and a power mark being changed beyond it’s design something could have exploded. He went into Meditation and looked around in his soul room. Nothing looked different except for the new tattoo on his soul. All of his Beasts were here, and the rest was unchanged. "What do you think it did to ya kid?" Sisfar had seen the whole thing as had all of his Soul beasts being Connected to him fully, but only Two of them were smart enough to understand what was going on. "I'm not sure." Gabe frowned looking at the power mark with curiosity and caution. Star-stone spoke up. "I have never heard of a Heavenly rune reactivating after it had been used. But then again I've never heard of one being put on a soul successfully ether. Your lucky, when you put that rune on your soul, your soul must have been incredibly weak and malleable. If the Rune was placed on a harder soul it would certainly have exploded or Corrupted. Your not the only one to try such a deed." Gabe rubbed the back of his neck. "Guess I'm just fortunate, now can you tell me what it did to the Sun pebble rune?" Star-stone shook form side to side. "Looks like it changed its power level... what is the Highest Form of a Sun pebble?" Gabe pulled on his treasure knowledge, he didn't know everything but he'd read a book that spoke of an S gade heavenly treasure that acted like the Sun pebble. "Well... there is a Treasure called the Solar Nexus stone. It allows the user to enslave Beasts even a realm higher then them." Only a few had ever been noted in history on Primeway, and they could only be worn not integrated into the soul. "Well..." Star-stone said. "There are treasures like that in the heavens as well, but they are coveted by even the strongest Channelers. I highly doubt it's possible you stumbled onto something that powerful. But perhaps it does something Nearly as good." Gabe grinned, if it was a good thing then it was a very powerful one. The amount of energy it had taken from him was enormous compared to what he could pour out into a treasure with his Skill, and it was very attuned to the heavens having come directly from his soul. Energy in the soul was changed on a fundamental level, it was made lastingly pure and folds more powerful filled with mysterious laws and principles, Gabe had also felt The Heavenly rune amplifying the power to Unknown amounts by imbuing it with heavenly laws all its own. Whatever this new Powermark could do, Gabe had a feeling it would be incredible. If only it Hadn’t cost him so much time.

The Day-vine family head was very disappointed to hear that their Trackers and Acolytes had lost the little bastard that had killed their own. The very young looking and Handsome man, with bright blue eyes and dark neck long hair sat at his Family Seat in the throne room of the Family's counsel house. Magnus was all alone reading papers on the news that had happened while he was In meditation. It seamed the world was moving pretty fast. He grinned maliciously. The Day-vine family would find a way to profit from that. The family house believed only in two things. Profit, and loyalty. When one of their own was lost to a killer they avenged them, and took what they could from the murderer. This had kept most from daring to harm a member of the family. But this Story of a young Low level Apprentice Channeler killing Two high realm assets of the family, one of which was the close friend of a counsel member had spread throughout the family like a wild fire. Everyone wanted blood, and didn't care if they had to start a war with the greenwood family house to get it especially since the Greenwood family was already about to die out and a war with them might be profitable. The fact That the murderer was so Weak only an Apprentice realm Channeler and had killed one of their top Acolytes was also considered a great shame, a mar on the Family’s reputation of power and untouchable strength. It had to be righted, and even Magnus head of the entire family, and the most powerful man in the world was informed about the issue by the elders. No'one outside the family knew it yet but Magnus was a Level Two deity realm Channeler. Something unheard of on primeway as the energy here just wasn't strong enough or pure enough to Grow past the deity realm level one. It was why all ascended after Reaching Deity realm you could grow no further here. But Magnus had stayed. He had stayed for over three million years after his Pique, deciding he wouldn't ascend. Why move into a bigger pond when you were the biggest fish in this one. Many Channelers actually felt this way as they reached the deity realm, but none could ever go past level one and were just contending on the same level with Acolytes who were forced to stay. But Because of his choice Magnus became the head of the Day-vine family, and built his Cultivation Chamber in the Dragon treasure land. These lands were the purest Of treasure lands on primeway, and no other heavenly Treasure land could hold a candle to the purity and amount of the spirit energy they produce. after ages and ages of cultivation directly in the center of this place he finally grew past the limit of this world. Just one level, just one. But it was enough, just that one level made him a king. Made him the most powerful thing on primeway. He could probably destroy hundreds of regular Deity realm Channelers with a snap, maybe thousands. The power distance between this one breakthrough and the level before it was like a million miles. incomparable to any Two levels before the Deity Realm. Right now Only his closest most trusted associates knew about his level and all saw the potential he now held. He was viewed as an unquestionable ruler of the family. And everyone was excited about where he would now lead the Great Day-vine family name.
Magnus had plans, big plans. But he also hated those who harmed his family in even small ways. As if they had the right to touch what was his. This boy would pay, he would be found and he would pay. To send a message to everyone that not even the Smallest most remote Member of the Day-vines was to be touched by anyone. The greenwood family had already wisely agreed to cooperate in finding him, though they had really dropped the ball with not just handing him over. And would have to answer for that misstep. But It didn't matter where the Boy was hiding now, he would die at Magnus's command like any other man. The prideful Man who wore bright gold robes and had his hair down lose at his shoulders began issuing orders for the bigger plans ahead he had. They would start reinforcing their Branches on the other continents building a bigger empire. And soon take the Phoenix Treasure land as well, and the Angel treasure land after that. These were the purest treasure lands on the Geo continent, and the Celestial continent respectively. Each just as perfect and powerful as the Dragon Treasure land was. If the Day-vine family could acquire jest one they would grow infinitely more powerful.
The Head of the Golden-chaos family house was enthralled! They had found it! The S grade Heavenly treasure they were looking for. It was under a city in the Hollow bone plains, which was under the control of the Greenwood family. But that wouldn't be a problem at all as everyone knew the Greenwood family was struggling already and bound for death, they're backing was falling apart and war with the Burning-heart league was immanent. If the Golden-chaos family struck now they could take the city and the treasure and not find much resistance. The Treasure was buried deep however, and would take an undetermined amount of time to excavate. They needed to act now before they missed their chance, or before it became too late. "Inform the family, we're going to take the city. Prepare for Retaliation from those stubborn fools." The head of the family ordered still grinning as he looked at the map of the area. His heart would feel a great weight lifted once he finally held that treasure in his hands and had the means to save his family.
Inside the Treasure store Gabe grew at an astounding speed, even at the Champion realm, where each level usually took Channelers years to pass, with Twelve Soul beasts and the highly Pure Chaos energy coming from the mountain Gabe gained back what he lost to his new soul tattoo and then three more levels by the time his nineteenth birthday came around. He trained his sword skills with Malner and was advancing Quicker then He imagined he ever would. Dwelling in this pure Spirit energy using countless treasures to speed along his growth. No other Channeler could ever possibly keep up.
On a Good day when he was feeling lucky, he decided to make another one of his Beast strengthening pills with the Red plant he had been keeping. Sisfar had all the right materials for the mix in spades, and he had plenty of time. He pulled out the recipe he had written down and went to work in the Alchemy room. His hard work and study in the art had give him a bit more knowledge of how recipes were formed and how certain materials reacted. He still couldn't find anything on the red plant he had found, but he knew another recipe for a beast altering pill that required several rare and Heavenly treasures Sisfar didn't have. But one of those ingredients he did. The silver fairy dust. Gabe knew it was risky to mix two Heavenly powerful Ingredients like this but he figured it was worth trying as the rewards could far outweigh the danger, besides the recipe he had made up the first time was just guess work in the first place and better quality materials should bring about an even better result. He sprinkled just a few specks of the rare silver dust in the regular mixture instead of the copper fairy dust from last time. and spent the next two and a half days poring power into the mix. when the power stopped Flowing and he finished the batch, he found that the powder that was left looked copper instead of purple, and gave off a rank odder. He coughed just looking at the grotesque stuff and suddenly regretted his decision to waste the Red plant to make it. He rolled the dust into two pills but felt nothing from them no energy,no signature. The next half hour he spent finding the right test subject for the pill just to see if it might still work though he was less than hopeful after looking at it, a Champion realm Terror Imp he found climbing a cliff face was good enough. He subdued the beast with his bare hands, just a few levels above it but still Many times more powerful and he shoved one of the Copper pills down it's throat. Time passed slowly waiting for something, anything. He began to groan at this waste of a treasure. Before the Imp started to glow, brighter and brighter, screams of horrible pain sounded out as gabe let it go and it dropped to the ground rolling in agony. Then to the world’s shock it's very soul was ripped from it's body and Gabe watched as it floated in the wind, blown away like a cloud. "What the..." He was suddenly very glad he hadn't taken the pill himself as the body of the beast stopped breathing and the soul began to fade away from this plain. After standing there some time, wondering how he had gotten to this moment and what he should do he put the other Copper pill in his Pouch, he wanted to throw it away at first but felt like then his utter heart rending failure would be complete. Perhaps this thing had some use, maybe as a poison, though he had no idea if it was even strong enough to harm a powerful Beast or Channeler. He flew back to the hideaway on Sisfar with a deep frown.
Gabe became very aware of his limited resources with the red plants After wasting one so uselessly. His immediate instinct was to just make the pills how he had before and try again, but after thinking it over he questioned if that was the wisest decision. What if there was just something in alchemy that he hadn't learned yet, something that would help him infinitely more. He was barely a hobbyist Alchemist at this point, but if he stayed patient perhaps he could Gain enough skill to truly unlock the Red plant's power, after all it had become a beast strengthening pill mixed with just subpar materials, if he could figure out a way to mix it with something stronger what would it become what grade of Beast strengthening could it reach? He decided he would keep the Red plants he had left until he became good enough at alchemy to know their best possible use or at least how to find that best possible use. Sisfar also agreed, the Demon’s knowledge about alchemy wasn’t nearly enough to be called a master of it but he did know that it Was likely given enough time Gabe might be able to find out something about the plant . Who knew maybe he would find a book that knew about them, after all they were very powerful. Someone had to have seen one before. It would be a bad waste to rush into it and waste even greater potential.
Time passed quickly after that little incident, Gabe held true to the same dedication he had at the Greenwood family's mansion with an added amount of focus on alchemy he promised himself he would never be so wasteful again. That one plant had been more valuable then almost any other treasure in this Treasure store he might as well have thrown away the Giant’s tear around his neck as waste just one. But it had taught him a valuable lesson a least.
Gabe was not in Good company when it came to working hard, Colin was almost lazy in comparison, Perhaps training more than a normal Channeler now that he had Life energy pills to Cultivate with but no where near as dedicated as Gabe, who never stopped studying meditating, or sparing Malner. Malner also worked hard, inspired by Gabe’s ethic but not able to push himself nearly as much. He was in awe of How Gabe pushed himself for hours, until he dropped from exhaustion. Then went instantly into meditation not sparing a second for rest. It Was impossible to beat. It was as though he was trying to make up for lost time, or racing someone and refused to be out done. Colin thought back to the days before they left for The Greenwood family. Gabe had been like this since he Got his soul Rune training non stop in the city, but after seeing Matthew and the Greenwood kids train he had gotten even worse. This kind of fast paced Cultivation could not be healthy. But Gabe refused to slow down so what could Colin do?
Gabe did not plan to stay here in this cave forever, he couldn't. The walls were already getting to him, and Even with Colin and Malner here He was feeling lonely without Seygo. Her smile, her blushing, even her Smell, Gabe was feeling Depressed without it. So what else could he do but push himself. He needed power. He needed to get too strong for the Day-vine family to keep him away so he refused to slow down. Alchemy, Sword training, move training, cultivation, and studying some of the Rune books he had day in and day out. The moves he was learning were Hard and would take him Years to master, but they were strong and useful. With his heavenly Quality Giant's tear on in this Atmosphere of Chaos energy he was able to cultivate nonstop, even while Sparing with Malner and learning sword moves his power was growing every second.
Some time ago After a long Meditation with the Dark inferno Candle from the auction Gabe Gained the Dark inferno fire ability. To his astonishment, he had been able to absorb the entire thing just like the first one. Even though this one was leagues more powerful. Every Dark energy Law was revealed to his soul, every scrap of power was merged into his Channeling. His dark fire had gone from a powerful blaze to an unrivaled inferno in less than thirty hours. Even someone a full Realm above him would not be able to make such a powerful Dark flame. And now after practicing for countless hours to control the pitch Black fire that burned within his soul he could wield a powerful Dark fire sword. The blade he could make was intimidating and stronger then anything most Champion realm Channelers could do, the fire strong enough and hot enough to harm even someone of the elder Realm. His mental strength allowed him to condense the fire into a strong and sharp blade about three feet long. Even Malner was impressed with the power of it, and imagined what it would Become When Gabe got to the Totem realm like him the thought was enough to make him Shiver.
