Gabe spent the rest of the week he had in the Treasure store Sifting through the treasures and materials feeling like a king. Picking out things he wanted, marking down things he might sell, and pocketing all the goodies he wanted to take with him when he returned to the Greenwoods. Some of the Meditation Helping items, A couple of the Alchemy tools that could help his studies in the art. going through the library he also picked out a few powerful move tombs that he could learn at his level, and some expensive books on Runes he hadn't read before that would enhance his knowledge on his favorite pass time. He would have his hands full for the next Ten years If he wanted to even learn a quarter of all the stuff this library taught on.
Gabe used every second he could spare from his sorting to have Malner teach him with the Sword. The man was good, a true master of the blade. Gabe struggled to keep up with him, his knowledge was so immense and precise that it seamed profound even when he held his sword perfectly still. Malner also reveled a secret about the art of the blade that Seygo never even mentioned. “Any Real master must be able to feel the world through his blade.” Malner stated as Gabe and him clashed swords. Gabe rose an eyebrow so Malner continued. “it is the secret art of every true master of every true weapon. The ability to see with his blade. like a soul sense but sharper. It is known as the Blade sight. And unlike Soul sense which can be blocked by many things, Blade sight can not be blocked by anything.” Malner said this Blade sight could not be learned in full by anyone under the ancestor ream. But was trained and practised by every Sword student from day one of their journey. Still, those who Taught it swore their students to secrecy. And it was no wonder Seygo didn’t teach Gabe anything about it. Malner only knew of it because of Sisfar’s stolen books on swrod art. When Malner Showed Gabe how to focus his soul sense through his intent and Sword, Gabe understood exactly what it was. The sight was like a blade itself. It could understand the surroundings for a distance that was in the exact shape of the sword in Gabe’s hand. Every thing in that shape was clear, even clearer than normal soul sense would allow. The reason it was so clear was because the sight cut through the obstructions in the way like a blade. With just a little of his will Gabe could use this sight to pierce through an illusion or object and show him what was behind it. Of course he was far too weak right now to really use it on anything powerful, and the size if this blade sight was really small for him, only a little bigger than the actual sword it was channeled through. But all of that would change as he both practiced it and grew in power. He was very thankful to Malner for showing him this secret. “You are welcome my master.” Malner nodded. “It is a vary little trick compared to the many secrets of the weapon arts. But Once you become skilled enough to learn it’s true potential you can use it to physically rend things with just a thought, some true masters can even use it to cut others souls. Without this secret a Sword master would be unprepared and at a disadvantage to fight an opponent who did know it.”
Gabe took some time to get to know his new Servant in between all the other tasks he had to do, he Learned a little bit about the man and about where he really came from. Malner had grown up on the Geo continent, a weakling with no family backing. His Beast hadn't even had it's vision back then and was nearly Useless. Just a small rabbit with Barely any cultivation ability. He had only become a Channeler because it was his only hope of feeding his sick younger brother. His talent wasn’t bad, but his family was too poor to buy any of the soul beasts on the market to bond with. And so bonding with a bottom grade beast left him with only more problems, especially after he hit a block only a day into channeling. One that he just could not seam to break. A few years before he stared aging and died from staying in the Embryo realm too long Sisfar had offered him the key to becoming powerful. Like any foolish young man with no other hope would, he had accepted. It was a mistake that had cost him all happiness in his life. He Finally started to grow in power, but he was away from his family. Away from his home. And forced to do horrible things by his new master. Gabe Ordered him to speak his mind about it while they spared with the sword, and the man complied. It was an awful existence, a tragedy very similar to Gabe's own story with Sisfar. Except he had overcome his servitude to the beast. This man had no opt out after making such a contract. Except to kill himself. His story moved on to The time he had spent alone in here while Sisfar was stuck in a bottle. Gabe asked why he had stayed so long without Sisfar returning and got a sad but expected answer. Sisfar had ordered him to stay and train to become stronger before he left that day. Making it impossible to leave until the Demon ether died or came back. Of which Sisfar did nether. Malner used up the rest of his pills during that time and with almost no way to cultivate had started training his sword techniques. Thousands of years of non stop training had left him fit, and a master at combat.
It was time for Malner to reenter the world Gabe thought, so after their twenty hour training session he started to make plans for the man to come stay with him, or at least near him while he left this treasure store. "Malner, I don't want anybody to know you are my Acolyte. So do not tell anyone understand." Gabe ordered as they left the training room. Malner nodded not saying anything. "We will tell everybody that you are my friend from a long time ago. An Acolyte of the Fourth-sun family." The fourth-sun family had deep ties to the Hellvine family. It was smaller, and got most of it's protection from them. As a subsidiary Family house. "We will be leaving here tomorrow, so get ready, take anything you want with you. But Nothing that will Draw too much attention to yourself." Malner Nodded and went to pack his things. The man seamed to be coming back to his senses, his slightly lonely and broken mind being mended by talking to another living person. He also seamed to like Gabe, his attitude was that of a servant who was almost glad to serve. Gabe found it astonishing just how strong willed the man was to bounce back so quickly. He thought of Malner’s time in the Black pearl, the old man had said Malner was impressive. The man must have impossibly thick skin.
Gabe only had one more problem. How he was going to hide his Hevenly treasures. Even in his new fine quality Space pouch, which hid things well from Even high level Channelers. A powerhouse like Vernon would be able to sense his Goods. He could use some of the Silver fairy dust in the main room to hide them, but not only was that costly It also might not work. Vernon was stronger then any rune he was capable of making, unless he had Gold fairy dust or knowledge of a higher grade masking rune. "Sisfar, is there anything you have in here that will allow me to hide my fortune from a level nine Avatar Channeler?" He asked digging through the shelf with the silver fairy dust on it. He had plans for that dust, but it would take too long to do anything with it now. "No kid... I was only a level three at my pique. Level nine is a big leap. Maybe a million times stronger. I didn’t try to mess with anyone so much stronger than me" Gabe cursed, and stepped back from the shelf. "Why don't you use my inner space, I'm a level higher Then a level nine Avatar." Star-stone spoke up, seaming to be less angry then he had been the past few days about being bounded to Gabe. Gabe's eyebrows rose. "Inner space? You can hide things?" The weird space beast from Another world answered with Amusement at Gabe’s lack of knowledge. "Yes, in my Inner space. Meditate and I'll show you." Gabe sat on the hard stone floor and went into his Soul room. Star-stone pointed to itself with one of its light tentacles. "Now focus on entering the space inside me. Just think about being there, and nothing else." Gabe did as instructed and suddenly saw a small portal open up on the metal boulder and suck him into it. In a heartbeat he was inside a room. The roof was high, at least fifty feet high. And was a radiant white. The ground was purple, made out of some kind of rough cut purple stone. The whole place was a little less then a half a mile big. And there were dragon bones everywhere. Thousands of them. Some radiated power like A Deity Realm Beast would. And others were small and blue tinged. "Where is this...?" Gabe said. Star-stone's voice answered from everywhere around him instead of just in his mind. "This is my inner Room. Or stomach would make more sense to you." Gabe looked at a large hundred foot tall skeleton of a long dead dragon. "You mean you really Eat dragons?" so many questions were going through Gabe’s mind right now. "Yes, it is what I am after all. I kill them and then send their bodies here where they are slowly turned into Space energy for me. It is how all of my kind Cultivate." Gabe looked closer at some of the bones, some were half disintegrated. And there was a lot of white dust on the ground in places."So.... my Treasures would be safe here? You wouldn't digest them?" A laugh sounded from the Dragon eater. "No, I can no longer digest anything. My only source of Spirit energy is you now. This room is dormant. But there is a rare trait Channelers can get from my kind that will allow it to Reactivate, and Cultivate for them. It is one of the Rarest traits in the universe. Only the true Gods of heaven have it. As it allows unlimited Pure Spirit energy to be cultivated nonstop as long as you have fuel." Gabe was ecstatic just to see this place as it was. This place could be useful. Extremely useful. Like a Space bubble all his own. Space bubbles were hard to make, and cost out the ears for families to own and take care of. They could be filled with heavenly treasures though, and could hold beasts that would help the young Cultivate. All leagues had one and most had dozens as they could be turned into sacred grounds when enough Spirit energy was pushed in them to saturate. there were a few ways to do that. One was opening the bubble in a Treasure land for a thousand years to fill it with the Pure spirit energy, another was to forcefully push energy into it with powerful Deity Realm channelers. The third was to fill it with Treasures and heavenly treasures that could saturate it for millennia.

These bubbles were useful because they could be moved, they would be attached to a large rune gate and Hugh level Channelers could take them where they were needed. There were even stories of the extremely rich and powerful buying one for themselves and having a personal Space bubble they could enter whenever they felt like it. These people were the highest of the high in the world. Like kings and queens. Because most space bubbles, even those Space channelers could make were all temporary. Only a year, or two and they would be gone. The power it took to create a permanent Space bubble was phenomenal. Even just one that would last a hundred years was Hard to create for a Deity level Space channeler. “Star-stone, how is this possible? Wouldn’t I need a trait to unlock this place… and how are there still bones in here if you are just a soul beast now?” Gabe was at a loss as to how this space was even here. Star-stone answered with the tone of someone speaking to a child. “you may not have creatures on your world powerful enough, but in the heavens there are beasts born with certain traits that can not be removed by soul binding them. Like the sky-Water Dragon’s affinity for the element of water, by just bonding with this powerful creature a Channeler can Gain a new element entirely. Many seek to bond with these beings, but the danger of even approaching them can not be overstated. My Race the Dragon eater has such a trait, our stomach remains with us for eternity, not even the laws of heaven that power the bonding rune can remove it.” Gabe was in awe, to be immune to the heavenly laws. Star-stone went on just to brag. “Of course Dragon eaters are almost never forced to become soul beasts, even the weakest of us are born well past the Deity realm. and The humans in the heavens fear us too much to risk angering us. You do not know how lucky you are to have found me sleeping. And you are also lucky you are on a starter world and my family can not get to you to avenge me.” Gabe pictured more of these strange Dragon eaters coming after him and shivered. He WAS lucky. None of them were even born under the Deity realm.
Gabe came out of his Meditation grinning about his new found ability. he untied his Space pouch full of treasures and his Space pouch full of money from his Blue lose Robe. "Okay how do I put this in there?" He asked. Star-stone was all to happy to answer. Gabe couldn’t help but be thankful to have a Soul beast with a better disposition then Sisfar. He cold tell through his connection that Star-Stone was not at all holding anything against Gabe for his situation and was just a naturally genuine personality. "Simply focus your Space Channeling and send it to the room you saw with a little concentration on the space around you." Gabe felt his Space energy grab onto the objects like an invisible hand and they disappeared before his very eyes. He felt them reappear in the Inner room which now that he knew existed he could feel a deep connection to. Gabe couldn’t wipe the grin off of his face. He really needed to read up on Space channeling, it was fun to even use this little bit of it.
"There has been something bothering me about you master." Malner said as they both exited the treasure store onto the cliff, looking out into the hazy distance of mountains for thousands of miles. Malner had a goofy grin on his face as he looked around at the outside world for the first time in ages. Gabe was Glad he could take the poor soul out of his prison and bring him back out into the light, he also felt much more safe with Malner beside him, and was sure the man was one of the most powerful things for thousands of miles around especially with the deadly treasure spear the servant carried on his back. "What is that?" Gabe said as Malner grabbed him by the arm and suddenly they were air borne. Flying almost half as fast as Vernon could which was countless times faster Than Gabe could ever travel. "Your mark, something is blocking out all signature from it. Sann can't even see how many Beasts you have or their nature." Sann was Malner's Soul-Beast, the Human sized rabbit with the ability of Foresight. "You've been trying to see into my soul Room?" Gabe asked incredulously as they soared over the mountains in a flash of land and trees. Malner noded, looking a little sheepish that he'd just admitted something he probably shouldn't have. After years Being under Sisfar’s thumb he'd become Both brazen, and shy. A sign that his mind had not taken the punishments of the demon well, but he was somehow still sane. "Well good, I didn't even think of that. This is good news." Gabe was glad to hear that even a High powered Foreseer couldn't look into his soul room. "It's because I have a soul Rune." He said to Malner's astonishment, Malner had seen a few soul runes in his life, but one powerful enough to hide your soul room from Sann would be an expert piece of work, among the top tier of Soul runes on primeway. Gabe decided it was best to share this sensitive information with his servant now, so no confusion would ensue in the future. Like him bringing up near other people the fact that he had bonded with Star-stone. Gabe wouldn't be able to explain that to the Greenwood family. "Malner, everything I'm about to tell you is top secret. Understand? Don't tell a living soul besides me or those I designate to be in the loop." Gabe said sounding very stoic. Even though they were going At an extreme speed and already outside the mountain range, there was no wind buffeting them and it was mostly Quiet so talking was easy. "Yes master." Gabe smiled at him. "I have the ability to hold Over ten Soul-Beasts in my soul room. And destroy the bond with any one of them I chose." Malner looked at him with alarm, it wasn't possible. Not even the greatest Heavenly treasure on Primeway could allow such a thing. The rest of what Gabe told him didn't sound sane at all. Every word sounded as fictional as a storybook. But Malner didn’t question it. He didn’t believe it, but he didn’t worry about it ether. If Gabe had gone a little crazy inside that Black purl then that was only natural. At least his new master was kind. Malner felt too lucky to be bothered about it, especially now that he was out in the world again. He looked ahead and let the land pass him by underneath feeling a smile widen on his face. Even though he wasn’t free, he felt like he was in this moment. He closed his eyes ad allowed a bit of the wind to buffet his face. The part of him that was dying inside from his pain and hardship livened up to take in this moment for all it was worth.
