Gabe's servants pulled against the force sucking them into the floor, straining with all their might to keep from touching the vortex and were able to hold their position as they waited it out with great effort. but then the group of Channelers attacked and everything went to hell. "Kill them all!" The leader shouted and blast after blast began to hit the shields weakening it as the Demon's struggled to hold. Gabe didn't wait, he called up a few of his soul beasts to distract the attackers outside the shield but they were immediately killed by the shock waves alone of the Deity realm Channelers slamming their fists into the shield. "How long... does this thing last?" One of Gabe's demons said. "I'm not certain it has a time limit." Gabe answered, he didn't know what was causing the vortex beneath them and when he looked at it all he could see was swirling darkness. "Use your Shrunken head move!" Gabe yelled. But the demon only grunted, he didn't have the ability to fight both the enemies and the Force pulling them into it. They couldn't move away from the vortex for some reason and they had only the slowly cracking shield to protect them. Gabe suddenly regretted only bringing the five demons with him. He could have had a few of his servants bring him more Family crests from the dead. Even if it would have taken more time.
A powerful fist fueled with Spirit energy burst through the shield and the whole thing crumbled into dust. In the blink of an eye one of Gabe's demons lost his strength to keep himself up and zapped into the vortex. The Channeler tried to Hit Gabe with a bolt of fire But one of Gabe other demons shot into it's way and blocked it obligated to Protect Gabe at all cost. The entire group lost their Ability to hold up right and came down as the vortex closed a Heartbeat before they reached it. Apparently it was only good for one kill as the demon Gabe lost died inside it and it shut down. The tired demons that were left didn't even waste a second, another shield shot up only around Gabe as they used their rage to attack his enemies. Demons had many advantages in the world, the greatest of which was their anger. When they became enraged enough their strength increased dramatically and they went savage. the best way to make a demon mad of course was to corner it, endanger a Demon’s life and he would not allow you to live. Gabe watched as the three demons who thought they were going to die in that vortex tore into the Channelers one right after the other, using powerful moves that threatened to destroy the building with the shock waves. Only the deity realm Runes holding the walls strong kept the place standing. The glass windows shattered and the walls cracked, Blood splattered everywhere and the Channelers died one by one until none were left. Gabe's demons were breathing heavy and looking around after their one sided bloodbath. this was why Demons were so feared, and why they could be so dangerous if left unchecked. they didn’t need a Canneler’s talent or the wisdom of a sage or the tools an alchemist would provide or the help of Heavenly treasures, they Grew like beasts and they fought like machines. Even against channelers who had all the help and resources in the world Demons could fight toe to toe.
Gabe walked passed the horror show of blood guts and bodies that the demons had made, some of the men had their bowels hanging out and knotted from a very nasty and cruel move that One of the demons knew. Others were burnt to nothing but cinders, or chopped up to nothing but pieces. Gabe ignored it all trying not to add any more nightmarish scenes to his memories. The room was so quiet now after all that noise, and The Alter Gabe was looking for was right there at the far wall. put at the head of the cathedral like room it sat on a beautiful stage and Gabe could see the extremely powerful shield around it. He weighed his options and how likely it was he could get to it with the forces he had. Then he turned to one of his demons. "Go out and bring me twenty Deity realm demons from the battle, make sure they all wear Family crests when they enter. And hurry!" The demon nodded and flew out of the temple leaving a trail of light behind him. It would take him some time to get the family crests and free demons but he wouldn't be too long. Gabe walked to the far wall from the entrance and found several closed solid doors to ether side of the alter. Each required a rune key to unlock, a device that was bond to the door and would be the only way it could be unlocked. He immediately rushed back and searched through the remains of the Bloody dead channelers. About half way through his looking Two dozen Demons streamed in led by the one he had sent. "Good." Gabe said happy It went quicker than he thought it would and pointed to the Alter made from Holy rare Heavenly treasures and sealed together with Diamond fairy dust, a Type of fairy almost twice as rare as gold ones. "Get to that alter!" The demons rushed by him and started working on the Powerful shield. The Wooden-Thunder family had put a Value on the Alter that was extremely high, apparently because something world ending was happening in the heavens. Gabe had been surprised to discover that the Wooden-Thunder family had received a message from a long ascended Relative, but had kept his worrying about it to a minimum. There wasn't anything he could do about a war in the heavens, the only thing he could affect was the here and now. If the world ended then it ended. The only thing he cared about was that he died a good man and not while being dishonorable.
Seygo stomped one of her many sand castles to the ground, playing a game with herself that involved Rescuing a queen from a far away land of thieves and murderers. The white room had just about gotten to her. She wasn't losing it, but she was losing hope. It had been too long. Too long. If they were ever going to come for her she would already be saved by now. This was most certainly the end for her, whenever the Wooden-thunder family decided to off her she would be dead. So she spent most of her time now Playing in the sand, like a sad little girl. But what did she care. "There was a young lady in blue..." She sung. "A mighty young thing it's true. She fought like a demon but looked like an angel. And killed a man or two..." Her song was suddenly interrupted by the door opening again. Quickly she kicked over all her sand castles and wiped them with her foot then turned to the... Man. A masked man with an ugly grin stood there staring at her. "Seygo?" He said in almost a whisper, his voice sounded just as evil as his face looked. "W... who are you?" She asked. Looking out the door, maybe this was her chance to escape. this man was only a tyke realm Channeler!! but what she saw out the door scared her stiff. Demons! Twenty of them, all Deity realm. She started to back away from the man. The man's smile went hard at her reaction, and then he seamed to consider something. His evil dark eyes spoke of a deep intelligence. Something she hadn't seen since she met Gabriel. It was a quick and deep Glint in the eyes and the way they moved around so quickly that almost looked as if he was always in the middle of solving a puzzle. Then suddenly he spoke. "I am here to take you back to your family." His snake like voice made her shiver, and she looked at the demons again. Clearly this man was in league with them, was the Wooden-thunder family making deals with demon’s. Seygo took a deep breath to calm herself and really consider what was going on. Was she dreaming? No, this was real. Was it a good thing or a bad thing?. She weighed her options. This place had not helped her mental sharpness so it took her a while to think. She couldn't fight, and fleeing was unlikely with such powerful beings around. So she could ether comply, or be taken by force. And If she got this man alone with his low level, she could likely overpower him and get away. She nodded slowly, knowing anything other than going along with him could result in death. Plus, if he somehow wasn't lying, then this was her ticket out of here and back to her family. But anything had to be better then this stupid white room. She gave one last look at hr stupid sandbox and smiled.
Gabe stepped forward and took Seygo by the arm leading her out of her Space bubble. He wanted so bad to tell her who he really was, to pull out his chameleon coin take off the mask and show her, but he didn't have the time to explain why it would be him rescuing her and this was not the place or time. Seygo's eyes widened as she stepped into the Atmosphere. There was so much Spirit energy here, heavenly pure. The irony of trying to Channel in that little room where there was only wisps of energy at best made her even more bitter about the time she had wasted in there. Gabe watched as Seygo looked around with awe at the Cathedral and Treasures all about her. no'one had told her why she had been taken, and she had been knocked out when she was put in the small space chamber. The tiny bit she had seen of this place when the door opened was far too little to fully grasp where she was. "Master the shield is gone, what should we do with the Alter?" One of Gabe's demons said. Gabe smiled and walked beside the shocked Seygo towards the Large Alter. It was Gold plated with purple seams, and under the coat of treasure gold various odd shaped treasures here and there could be made out poking at odd angles, the instructions from heaven it would seam did not bring with them the level of craftsmanship this alter would take. It looked sort of shambled together but radiated power in such droves as to make Gabe’s skin crawl. The legs were made of a Bronze Vision increasing treasure, and the whole thing stood about Gabe's hight long and about as tall as his waist. To all four sides a statue of a phoenix was carved into the gold, and the diamond fairy dust sprinkled into every inch of the plaiting shone white like stars in a yellow sea. "I'll take care of this one myself." Gabe said. "See about the other treasures you can get, I want to get out of here now before we lose any unnecessary lives." Gabe reached out and touched the Heavenly treasure and felt the power running through it like a wild fire. "Dam." He said this thing was definitely an S Grade Heavenly Treasure alright, or perhaps… something even greater. But he didn't think it was volatile. He opened his inner space and the Alter teleported there. Then with a thought he turned to the demons that were busy at a few of the Heavenly treasures trying to break the shields. "Instead, open the doors to the other space chambers. I think we'll need what's inside them." He had opened one of them already when looking for Seygo and found a Phoenix tied up on the floor of another white room. The demon's all looked at him before he gave one of them a key and they started at the doors. "The demons answer to you?" Seygo whispered in a fearful voice. Gabe looked at her with his evil grin. "I have enslaved them all." Her sparkling eyes were captivating to him, but he could clearly see the fear in them. She tried to speak but just stuttered. How powerful was this man really? Was he hiding his power level? and was he truly the head of all these demons?

Gabe let Seygo collect her thoughts as his demons freed the Phoenixes from their places and carried them in their weakened state with barely any difficulty. He would have to find a safe place to keep them later since it was dangerous to put them in his inner space, but for now his servants could hold them easily enough with their auras. Gabe wanted to get out of here quick, the battle outside was probably still going fiercely and he didn't want to lose too many of his hoard he knew he would need them for latter battles. "Master, what about this Spirit tree?" One of Gabe's demons asked, and Gabe looked to the last open door to the left and found a different kind of Space bubble. One with a giant tree he could partially see from the door, instead of a Phoenix. "Let me see that." He walked quickly over and found a True Rare Heavenly treasure. A 6000 feet high, Dancing dreamer tree. This tree produced heavenly Fruit worth countless fortunes. And was maybe one of five on all of Primeway. The Wooden-Thunder family had really outdone themselves. The fruit this tree produced every hundred thousand years or so would not only strengthen the draw of a channeler’s soul, but also give the Channeler increased memory and mind strength. Just one could set a channeler years, or sometimes hundreds of years ahead. He would learn moves, knowledge, and even hand to hand and Weapon arts at an increased rate. His mind sharpened almost a realm ahead of where it should be. Gabe of course only knew a little about this treasure, Only hearing the legends that bards sung in taverns, Or the stories from elders of a great channeler with god like luck who stumbled upon one.
The room the tree was in pulled the spirit energy from outside it and fed the room well with Geo energy. Gabe stepped onto the dirt floor and put his hand on the tree. "Hello?" A voice sounded in his mind. Gabe was a bit surprised, some trees were alive and could speak, but only the most powerful and ancient Spirit plants. "Who are you, you are not of the Wooden-Thunder family." knowing that some spirit trees could fight, and it was likely one so powerful could easily defend itself Gabe tread carefully. "I am a visitor, I just have one question to ask you before I go." The tree seamed to visibly brighten up. "Oh? I haven't been asked a question in millennia." Gabe rose an eyebrow but continued. "Do you like it here?" The tree put out an aura of hatred. "No! I must say not! I have been withheld from ascension, and treated like a farm creature." Gabe smiled. "Well..." He was interrupted by the tree continuing. "It isn't right! I haven't spoken to anyone or anything for the heavens know how long." Gabe was about to say something else but the tree's rant wasn't over. "It's cramped, it smells. I'm thirsty years at a time before anyone comes to check on me. And even when they do its only to see if I've grown a new fruit for them to plunder..." The complaints just droned on, the soil, the light, the air, nothing was pleasing to this Tree at all. Finally Gabe had to stop it. "I can help you!" He said loudly with frustration. The tree stopped. Then let out a snobbish scoff. "Ha! could you now?" Gabe nodded. "I can. I know I seam like just a low level Channeler, but I can get you out of here." The tree paused for just one second. It had nothing to lose. Sure the Wooden-Thunder family could punish it again, but that only hurt for a few years. And they wouldn't dream of killing it. "Why would do that? And... how?" Gabe grinned. "First you have to make a spirit contract with me. Stating that if I get you out of here you have to postpone your ascension until i am four hundred years old. And every fruit you produce you will freely give to me. And that you will stay in any place I put you for as long as I specify without causing harm to anything around you." The tree stayed silent for a full minute, and Gabe felt like it was sizing him up. "You are not very bright." It finally said blatantly. "You will get nothing out of this, I only produce fruit ever hundred millenia. Four hundred is nothing, your unlikely to even find one on my branches as the last was taken only fifty thousand years ago. Your lacking intellect puts your ability in question. I doubt you could even get me out of a three foot hole, much less this facility." Gabe shrugged. "I am still willing to try if you are. I think you will be surprised with how easy it is. And if I die trying, then perhaps you will get a chance to ascend before they carry you back." The tree put out an aura akin to rolling it's eyes. "I will agree. But only because you are the only being to speak to me in such a long time that I think I'm going crazy." the mind of a plant was incapable of going crazy, it worked and thought like no other living thing. The tree began to glow with runes and quickly created a spirit contract. Gabe found the deal perfect, only critiquing the wording a little bit where it said "for four hundred years." Instead of "Until Gabe’s physical body was four hundred years old." The tree grunted and said something about idiotic preferences, but didn't seam to mind changing it that much. Finally Gabe accepted the contract and the tree fake coughed. "Ah,hmm. Now show me what your idiot plan is. I'm now even more convinced it will fail."
Gabe walked up to the tree’s massive house sized trunk and spoke firmly. "I'm going to put you in my inner room, don't try to escape or I might not be able to hold you." The tree was quick to reply. "What!?..." But by then he had already been teleported into the space. Smiling, Gabe sent a mental message to Star-stone. "Keep the big tree talking. It's got quite the mouth. And I need him to stay calm." Star-stone consented and Gabe left through the door he had come through. Only, as he walked through it a familiar pain struck his eyes. His knees went weak and his vision blurred. "Master!" One of the demons called and was by his side instantly. Gabe was glad he hadn't passed out this time. His mind swarmed with warnings of what this might be. Maybe a late side affect of his soul rune. Or of the red plant he'd taken. It could even be the heavens punishment for breaking spirit contracts. He wasn't sure. Until...
