Chapter 41

In the front of the red giant palace, a flat area a mile long had been cleared of lower lesser demons and filled with only those Afell had enslaved. There wasn't a solid count but One of the strongest demons, a Death king devil estimated around Seven hundred and fifty thousand. Gabe had Afell grow to over three hundred feet,it didn’t make the Beast stronger to change his size but it was a neat trick. He had Melnar hover him over Afell's outstretched hand so it looked like he was standing on the Demon's palm. If he wasn't using Malner he would just go right through as he could only ride Sisfar. Gabe looked out over the endless crowed of ugly, evil, and twisted Beasts all looking at Afell with fear and reverence. They couldn't disobey him, or harm him. He was in complete control. Gabe grinned and using Afell like a puppet made him speak in the loudest voice possible, which for a creature that was half giant half Devil was ear bursting and echoed off the chasm walls. making it clear that no'one would miss what he was saying. "I Here by order To all and every one of you That you fully submit to this Man, everything he tells you to do, do. Give him only your best advice and do not speak against him. Do not harm him or allow him to come to harm. Protect his family and allies from any harm, and do not slack in your service. He is now your King." The crowed didn't dare speak, everyone was in total shock it was no News that Afell despised humans, he hated them like no one else even ate them and tortured them for fun. But now he was giving full control to this one man. Gabe just grinned, he had just successfully taken control of the most powerful demon hoard this side of the continent. Over half of the demons before him were Deity realm. Over Half!!! that was over four hundred thousand Deity realm beings. The rest were everything from High ranked Ancestor to high Ranked Avatar realm. This kind of shear power could rival the Strongest of Family houses, maybe not in numbers but in power. As the Deity realm was hundreds of times more powerful then the Avatar realm of any level. They were basically gods. And he was their King. Only few men in history had ever wielded so much shear power, so completely. Even Family heads couldn't just order their families to war, there were rules and ways of doing things. But these Demons were all slaves. Gabe had no limits in what he could force them to do.

The rest of the demon hoard that wasn’t enslaved was forced to obey by the higher powers, and would mostly willingly do so. As demons were like locust when they joined a hoard, they followed the crowd and the power. Especially those who didn't have intelligence yet, all who were below the elder realm. Malner and Colin did nothing but Gape at the scene, they knew from everything that had just happened that these demons were under Afell's control. And now.... they were under Gabe's control. After that everything moved quickly. Gabe picked out Ten of the most powerful Demons, even though it Took ascension to rise above Deity level one, cultivation still added to one's inner power. The longer a demon had been at Diety level the more powerful he would be. These ten he called into the throne room, and made them heads over the entire hoard. They would take care of everything for him. He started by having each of them pick two other demons to be their enforcers, then Gabe Gave them all orders. He wanted the entire hoard to prepare for war. Because he wasn't sure what it would take to Get Seygo back but he was willing to spend every Demon life under him to Do it. Gabe also had them show him to where all the Demon hoards most valuable treasures were stored. They lived in a treasure land after all and had been here for countless years. Who knows what goodies they would have tucked away. Afell had a stadium sized room in the palace dedicated to treasures he kept for himself. And sadly Gabe didn't have the time to sort through it all, but none of it was Heavenly anyway. Some of the most powerful demons in the hoard were treasure eating demons, Afell found little use for meditation trinkets and Weapons that were all so less powerful then him. He found strength in numbers so he fed his Army with the most powerful Treasures he could find and built up their power. Treasure eating demons were the fastest growing demons, as they could swallow whole treasures and digest them much like the way Star-stone digested Dragons. Taking the pure Spirit energy and cultivating much faster. It was a sad thing for Gabe to learn as he'd had his hopes up for valuable and powerful Treasures he could use, but at least his riches would increase, all of the treasures that hadn’t been eaten were enough to Quadruple, no quintuple the wealth he already had if he sold them.

Unlike running a family house, running a demon hoard was simple. There was no crime, as there were no laws. Every demon did what it wanted to the others and as long as they were more powerful they had the right away. Only orders need to be issued, most of which was just posting Powerful demons along the borders of the Territory to keep their lines defended. Gabe had a Hoard wide order going that any human who claimed to be a Member of the Greenwood family house was not to be killed, but captured. Otherwise he didn't care. And the rest was left up to his counsel which already knew how to take care of everything. The demons in the Hell's Fissure as it was called were not the only ones in this hoard, the territory spread out for hundreds of thousands of miles in all directions, and there were three other hot spots filled with low level demons and Mid realm demons. These were mostly in Sacred lands which had the same amount of Spirit energy as Treasure lands but didn't produce any heavenly treasures. Gabe left via teleport scroll and went back to Sisfar's Treasure store. As nice as the Palace he now owned was, it wasn't anywhere he'd like to stay. Plus he had business to take care off. While Colin and Malner went back to their respective training and meditation, Gabe found the space pouch he had put in the Treasure room, that contained all the Rare and powerful Dragon bones found in Star-stone's Inner Space. from time to time he used small parts of them in his Alchemy but never more then a tiny shard or fragment they were far too potent to use in most of the recipes he knew, and dragon bones were well known in alchemy to be dangerous. Still These were worth more then he would ever know, as they belonged to dragons far more powerful then anything on Primeway. They were all half Degraded and weakened by being slowly digested, but still held untold power. Gabe took them to the Alchemy room where he spent the next Ten hours mixing very precise Formulas. These were Called the Three ruining Potions, one was Red, one was blue, and one was silver. When combined they would begin to seep into a Treasure and slowly degrade it, making it useless. Usually this was avoided, or only helpful to harm someone else. But it had been known to be a Herbalists best friend when trying to create Spirit gardens without some kind of Treasure soil or powerful fertilizer.

The recipe he had in one of Sisfar's books would be near powerful enough to work on these bones, but he had taken a chance and instead of adding Venom Acid powder, a very valuable poison Element Treasure made from Frog and Dragonkind teeth crushed to powder to the mix he put in a sprinkle of silver fairy dust and diamond Eye Saliva. From what he knew of Alchemy, Dimond eye Saliva had a very similar make up to Venom acid powder and had a Potential to store up Ten times as much energy. He was very glad when it didn't all congeal or Dry up, the consistency in each of the Formulas was paramount. It seamed he was learning enough about the art to finally make good decisions when straying from a recipe. The Colorful liquids were pored into vials and then Gabe capped them and sent them to the Inner space. He also sent the pouch of Dragon bones and went into Meditation before projecting his soul inside as well. It was odd being able to effect this place with just his soul, but Star-stone explained that the physics inside the room were different then outside, and it was really his mind that was effecting the world. Gabe worked quickly being sure to be careful with the powerful Formulas, who knew what they would do to his soul if they came in contact with him. He carefully pored a single drop of all three Formulas on each bone he pulled out of his Space pouch then laid the bones on the soil in front of each plant, putting two in front of the Berry bush. In just a few months, maybe a year, the bones would turn to dust from the powder and begin to leak all their spirit energy into the room. It wouldn't be an endless supply but it would last a long time from such powerful bones. As Gabe could feel the strength still inside each one of these. These were almost on par with Heavenly Treasures and could probably be used in powerful alchemy mixes if he only knew a recipe for them, but he had plenty. Whole skeletons even. And some of them were large, too large to fit in the pouch actually so he had to buy a pacific and costly space Sack for them, those huge ones were still in Sisfar's Treasure Store. Before he left the Bones to decay he also spread out solid black ashes across the most valuable plants. This was ashes from burning some of the Treasures Afell had in an Alchemy furnace. Nothing very useful, Just trinkets. But it had plenty of Spirit energy that could quickly give the room a little boost. Where as the bones would take months these ashes were already leaking spirit energy into the air. It was the very meaning of burning money but Gabe was almost annoyed with just how wealthy he was becoming… he wouldn’t be caught complaining about it though.

Once he was Back in his soul room Gabe focused some of his mind on activating the Time Flux Trait. He felt power begin to trickle around him, the energy his soul beasts were producing stopped flowing into him and instead flowed into Star-stone. "It's working." Star-stone said. "How fast is time going?" Gabe asked. Star-stone shuddered. "I'm not sure, but the dragon bones have already half turned to dust and many of your herbs are fully grown." Gabe grinned. That meant it must have been at least a few weeks. At a speed like that he could have That Decomposed berry in less then a single year maybe in just a mouth or two. The Decomposed Berry was Considered very Valuable, and if he could only have one every year then he would be happy. He left his Soul room and tried to speed up the Time while he wasn't in meditation, it was working he felt the power flowing into star stone. The only problem is it left no energy for his own cultivation. Even with the giant’s tear also trying to cultivate for him, it was no dice his soul beasts capacity was being used up to speed up time. Unless he could divide it… Gabe focused on the energy going into Star-stone even while he was outside his soul room he still had some control over the space. He allowed some of the energy to siphon off into his soul instead of powering the inner space. When he dropped his focus it held, so he was both passively cultivating and speeding up time. He grinned, time wouldn’t go as fast with less energy powering it and the amount of energy he was cultivating was about half of what he was doing before. But it was a worthy trade off for now. That garden would be invaluable to him in the future. Some treasure plants, and highly uncommon flora were not sold on the market at all. And some plants took thousands even hundreds of thousands of years to grow. It might not seam like much yet but Gabe had set his sights on making his inner space a natural wonder of the rarest and most powerful materials. stuff he would need to become a master in alchemy.
