The Knight-King was left alone with no clue of where to go next, "Knight-King!?" Coming from the flames were four people.
"Twilight Knight Lunar, Mr. Klein, Cyrus, and Ms. Terra." He spoke in a monotone voice as he watched the irate Twilight Knight come his way.
The other three tried holding her back but she was too strong and fast. She swung and the Knight-King blocked it with his blade and sent her away.
"What is the reasoning for you to come to Twilight Town and burn our forests down?! Explain yourself!" He tried to dodge every slash but she was too fast and his armor was getting torn.
"We had your permission, no?" He calmly explained this caused her to stop.
"Huh?! I haven't left my room in days, what are you on about?!" The Knight-King took this opportunity to take out the envelope.
She took it and read it, "This is forgery! I never wrote this bullshit!"
"Ahm, language."
"Father, was this you? Or was it you, Terra?!" She snapped at the two.
"Of course not." The old man rubbed his beard and looked at what was written.
"Why would I even do that?!" The shorter girl snapped back.
"Then how?!" She read the letter back again and looked at the crest again.
"I think I can answer that." Klaus butted in.
"I believe that the High Minister was tricked by another party and given a fake envelope by a scammer." He took the envelope from the Twilight Knight.
"If only you three could've made this then it is most likely just a really good fake."
The Twilight Knight looked back at the two, "Could it be?" The old knight Cyrus seemed to understand.
"It's possible…"
"Hold on, she wouldn't go this far, right?" Terra tried to reason.
"No, she would definitely go this far." The Twilight Knight took back the envelope and pocketed it.
"You, leave." She pointed at the Knight-King who stood there through the ordeal.
"No, I have business here." He stood his ground and looked down at the Twilight Knight.
"Do you wish-"
"Yoo-hoo! What's going on here?" A woman with long black hair jumped out and had an unconscious child in her arms.
The Knight-King immediately recognized the child and moved. Before he could reach her, he was beaten by a flash who clashed swords with the woman.
"You!" The Twilight Knight gritted her teeth at the woman.
"Calm down, missy. I'm not here to fight you." The woman casually disarmed the Twilight Knight and walked past her.
Then the Knight-King came and swung, only to be dodged by her as she walked calmly to the old man.
"Cyrus, I see you're in good health." The old man smiled as he stood and watched the woman dodge every slash from the Twilight Knight.
"Lunar, stand down." The Twilight Knight was stunned by this order.
"But-"
"Your personal grudges shouldn't interfere with Twilight Town's safety. We currently have an intruder from the capital who refuses to leave." Cyrus looked at the Knight-King.
"And we need her if we want to get rid of him." He added in a whisper.
"You, hand Angelina over." The Knight-King ordered, "Twilight Knight, former Twilight Knight, whoever you are, it doesn't matter. I'm not going back until she is safe and sound." He readied himself to fight off the three.
"I'll have you know, I'm Daybreak master, Mane S. Asteria. The real [Don of the Night]. Have some respect." She loudly exclaimed and smirked as her blood pumped from excitement.
"Actually, Sir Vansten, I believe it is better to leave her with them." The Knight-King turned his attention to Klaus.

"Why would you say that?" The Knight-King wasn't someone who listened to people when he felt strongly about a situation, but if it was someone as respectable and sensible as the successor of the Hero of Klein then he'd give it a chance.
"I have reason to believe that this whole thing was set up by the same third party as the one who forged the envelope."
He walked over to the unconscious child, "All to get rid of Angelina. I believe she'd be safer anywhere that isn't the capital."
"Do you have any proof of this?" The Knight-King wasn't so easily convinced.
"This." Klaus pulled out a letter with the crest of the Wolfgang family and handed it to the Knight-King.
He read it in silence, "I see," he handed the letter back.
"I trust your judgment, Mr. Klein" he then turned around and walked away.
As soon as he was out of view, Klaus fell to the ground and exhaled, "We somehow succeeded, captain." He mumbled and three people came from the bushes.
"We really did it!" Elliot celebrated.
"That was so terrifying but also the most exciting thing I've done," Archibald commented
"So that was the Knight-King? And he beat Sebastian…" Trinity spoke as she looked in the direction the Knight-King left in.
"I wouldn't say Sebastian got beaten. If anything, he won." Mane added as she handed Angel to Archibald.
"They should be safe, right?" Mane looked down at Klaus.
"The rest is up to the captain, and he'll handle it just fine."
"Chop-chop, I want you out of here, now." The Twilight Knight stood behind the old man and glared at Mane.
"That's rude, Lunar. She saved us from a big disaster after all." He turned to Mane with a smile, "You're free to stay here for as long as you like." The Twilight Knight tried to object but he ignored her and pulled both her and Terra away.
"Elliot, get the kid." Klaus sat up and brushed the snow off his clothes.
Elliot tried to reach for her but got stopped by Mane, "Sorry boys, but she's staying with us. Sebastian and his partner entrusted me with her."
Klaus thought for a bit and then sighed, "Let's go, Elliot." He started to walk away.
"Are you sure it's fine to leave her here?" Elliot looked back.
"I don't care. We'll get her when the time comes."

As the Knight-King walked back to his stallion tied near the entrance of Twilight Town he sensed something approaching, "Captain!"
He looked back and found his loyal lieutenant approaching with a gash across his mouth, "1st Lieutenant Rodonzo?" He calmly looked back.
"Captain! Help me!" His shoulder was dislocated and flopped around as he ran while his other hand held his broken staff.
"Why are you here?" The Knight-King didn't remember ordering his lieutenant to come to Twilight Town.
"There's a crazy woman in that forest! As I fought those vicious kidnappers, she attacked and broke my staff… You have to help me!" The Knight-King stayed silent.
The lieutenant then looked down at the broken forearm of his captain, "H-Huh? What happened to you?!" His forearm looked as if it was hit was a boulder.
"I found the target…" he stopped talking and looked back in the direction of the smoky forest.
"T-They did that to you?" The idea that his captain, the invincible Knight-King had gotten injured in battle just didn't make sense to him.
"Nothing is more dangerous than a wounded beast." The Knight-King grabbed his nephew's arm and shoulder and fixed his dislocated shoulder with a pop.
The lieutenant groaned in pain, "A warning would've helped!"
"When you get back to the capital, find anything you can about that man named Sebastian."
"Why? Didn't you kill him?" Then the realization set in, his captain was empty-handed with no heads of the criminals.
"He survived and hurt you..?" The Knight-King looked at his forearm.
"Yes." He mounted his armored horse, "Get on."
"My horse is just over-"
"Get on." He had no choice but to listen to his captain's cold orders.
The Knight-King had already started planning for their next meeting, 'We will meet again, Sebastian.'
"…Captain, I apologize for my act of coming without notifying you, but I came here because I heard of what you said about Elliot Wolfgang and Klaus-"
"You don't need to say anything, I already know everything." The Knight-King is capable of grasping many things from a single piece of information.
"…You're worried about that Sebastian but I believe that woman is more dangerous…" This got the Knight-King's attention.
"You don't have to worry about her. It's your fault for going after them, when I didn't send you here because of her." He used a monotone voice but his lieutenant immediately understood what he meant.
"My apologies."
The rest of the ride was quiet, the sun had almost set by the time they reached the gates of the capital.
"Go get rested, you're suspended indefinitely."
"But… yes, sir." he knew better than to argue with his captain.
Many citizens hid at the sight of the Knight-King, his tall tales were enough to be feared by the very side he fought for.
Once he reached the Vansten estate, he ignored the many servants trying to assist him with his injury, only one maid silently followed. He went straight to the dining hall.
"High Minister Michael." He entered without knocking and saw the minister and his siblings indulging in the finest of wine.
"Greetings, Violend! Oh dear… what happened?" His three younger siblings immediately rushed to his side.
"Just a scratch." He kept his gaze on the minister, "I need to speak to the minister. Privately." His two sisters wished him a speedy recovery and left, they both knew from the tone that there was no point in staying around.
But his brother stayed, "What of Rodonzo?" The Knight-King had figured out who really sent his lieutenant to Twilight Town.
After all, he was the only one he told about his suspicions about Klaus and Elliot, "You should be by his side." He walked away from his worried brother and to the minister who had felt the threatening aura surrounding the Knight-King.
Once his brother left. The one maid left closed and locked the doors.
He stood in front of the minister "Michael." The minister silently looked up and the towering figure.
"Yes?" He had not expected that the Knight-King would return so early.
"Do I need to remind you? I'm not on your side. So don't involve me in these games." He poured himself a glass of wine.
The minister managed to keep a straight face while faced with the most dangerous man in Spurcius, "What games do you speak of?" There were five knocks on the door, they had a rhythmic sound to them.
"Violet, dear. Open the door." He looked back as he sipped his wine, she obliged and unlocked the doors.
A man dressed in a white and gold-lined robe walked in, "Your Majesty." The minister got on one knee and the Knight-King leaned against the table.
"Greetings, you two." He grinned as he saw his Knight and minister together.
"G'day, your majesty." The Knight-King said while looking down at the pathetic minister, "Apologies, High Minister Michael. But I'm forced to ask you to leave." The minister looked up at the Knight-King and then at the king.
"He's got a gnarly injury, I would do as he says." The king joked as he looked at the injured Knight-King.
"May the Guardian of Spurcius look after you, your majesty!" He quickly made his way out the door, which was locked behind by the maid. The Knight-King immediately took off his helmet.
Violend sat down and took off the armor around his forearm, "Vio, please help me out?" He asked and the king took a seat in front of him.
The maid came over with the necessary items and set them on the table, "You wouldn't believe the day I had, Al." He shook his wine glass as the maid desensitized his injury with alcohol.
King Aleister poked his blood dried arm, "Haha I doubt I would, I mean what the hell happened to your arm?" He then tied his long black hair behind his head and grabbed the needle out of the maid's hands.
"We both know you're no good at stitching, Vio. So leave it to me." He pulled Violend's arm causing him to hiss in pain.
"What. Are. You. Doing?" He nearly broke the glass in his hand.
"Drop the tough act. Acting tough just because Vio is here is pathetic." He pointed out Violend's act of not feeling the sting of the alcohol.
"Hey, don't you think you're getting too comfortable with calling her 'Vio'?" Aleister simply laughed.
"You've said it many times and yet I don't stop, so don't waste your breath. And anyway, she doesn't mind, right, Vio?" The maid ignored him and focused on creating the plaster for Violend.
"See? Vio doesn't mind." The only reason Violend didn't hit him was because he was currently stitching his wound shut.
Something hit the bottom of the table scaring the king causing him to accidentally stab the Knight-King but got no reaction, "Oh? Where's High Minister Michael?" All three looked back at the hooded figure that came out from under the clothed table.
Not a second later, the person had a blade to their throat, "You dare spy on the Knight-King?" The maid held the dagger.
"Oh dear, I didn't mean to spy." A woman's sultry but unnerving voice crept into the maid's ear causing her to step back.
"The minister left some time ago." The king stood up and got in between the two, "You should leave."
The Knight-King sat silently and continued to drink his wine.
"If that's what you wish for, your majesty." She moved away from the two and then turned back at the Knight-King.
"See this as an apology from the minister." Her finger pointed at the Knight-King's arm, "Goodbye."
As she left, the maid hurriedly locked the door, "never liked that woman."
He glanced down at his forearm and saw it was healed, "Hmm." The two came over to him and saw his newly healed arm.
He put his hand up before they could speak, "Let me explain what happened to me today."
