After coming back to the capital, Klaus and Elliot went their separate ways and have yet to meet again.
Elliot tried his best to avoid his father, he actually worked instead of drinking and helped around the capital.
Nothing changed, other than his father becoming the High Minister due to having no one to oppose him, while the Klein family and some other notable families may have had some objections, it was all for naught due to Duke Michael being of the Wolfgang house and having the full support of the Vansten house.
The Vansten house is the nemesis of the Klein and Zersie houses. What the Vansten house lacked in history, they made up in wealth. They were the fourth addition to the great dukedoms.
They weren't there during the First King's reign and didn't assist him in any way, unlike the Wolfgang, Klein, and Zersie houses. But they now hold the same power and influence as the Zersies' do.
That was all thanks to the head of the Vansten house, who is the current head of the Royal Knights and the right-hand of the king, Violend V. Vansten, [God's Chosen Imperial Knight-King].
A man who has never lost a battle and spearheads the ongoing silent war between Spurcius and the rival kingdom of Tengoku.
He is described as a middle-aged man. Some say he has a scar on his left eye but no one has been able to confirm it due to him always wearing a black helmet that covered his entire face at all times.
That man currently sat in front of Elliot, which terrified Elliot, 'I feel like he's staring into my soul…' Elliot was sitting at a long table with multiple heads of notable houses and high-ranking officers, one of them being the Knight-King.
Elliot was called in by his father and had no way of getting out of this meeting, 'Where's that old man?!' It had been half an hour since he had arrived and no one had spoken a word, how could they? When the Knight-King was present.
For someone who struggled to stay silent for even a minute, Elliot was at his limit, "where is that old-"
"Greetings!" The doors burst open and there stood a large man who wore the most expensive of clothes and jewelry.
Everyone looked at him and then the Knight-King, expecting the Knight-King to say something about his lack of respect, "I see you're in good health, High Minister Michael."
What the others didn't know was that the Knight-King and Minister Michael had already been very much acquainted.
"I'm guessing you are too?" The Knight-King simply nodded at the minister's question.
The minister strutted and stood at the head of the table, "alrighty, I'd hate to waste your precious time," he looked around the room at the many blank faces, he knew many of them were hiding their agitation.
Even his allies didn't like him, "so let's get right into it." He held a case but just before he could open it, there was a knock, and the door slowly opened.
"Excuse my lateness," Klaus waved at the table and was met with smiles, even the ones who despised the Klein house liked Klaus.
"I was expecting the head of Klein to join us today?" The minister didn't seem so pleased with Klaus' arrival.
"Father couldn't make it today, so I was sent as a proxy." Elliot knew that was a lie, Klaus' father hated his father and refused to sit in the same room as him even when ordered by the king.
"I see, Have a seat then." Klaus looked around and only one seat was empty, it was the seat that faced the head of the table.
He hesitated, "Have a seat, child." The one who spoke was the Knight-King.
The room was speechless that the Knight-King would even speak to anyone let alone a rival like Klaus.

He uttered a thanks and sat, "Now, the reason for me to call this emergency meeting was for two things." He put the case on the table.
"But first, do you all acknowledge me as the high minister of Spurcius? If you do, then clap your hands." The kingdom already had a ceremony for the ascension of Duke Michael but he felt that not everyone acknowledged him.
The people shared glances, first to clap were the supporters of Wolfgang and Vasten. Klaus and Elliot looked at each and Elliot looked back to see that everyone was now looking at him.
"Do you not acknowledge the high minister, Mr. Wolfgang?" Elliot had forgotten that he had become the head of the Wolfgang house, there was no official ceremony, only an announcement.
His hands were shaking, 'If I clap then I'd be betraying Klaus…' They had sworn to take down his father.
Then a clap was heard from the other side of the table, 'Klaus?!' He almost let it slip but remained silent.
Klaus glanced at him, he understood and began to clap. Then the others begrudgingly started to clap.
"Yes, yes, great!" The minister clapped along with ecstasy, "Hold on…" he looked at the Knight-King and the clapping stopped.
The nobles feared what the proud idiot would say to the Knight-King, but wordlessly the Knight-King brought his gloved hands together and clapped once but the clap resounded around the room stunning everyone.
"Um okay… now, the second thing." He pulled out four pieces of paper out of the case, Elliot and Klaus already knew what he was going to talk about.
He held up the five wanted posters with an unknown new woman there, but the three they knew had updated illustrations, "As you all know my dear brother was murdered in cold blood, and his daughter, Angelina was kidnapped." He showed the poster of Angel to everyone.
"But these two have been spotted in Twilight Town and have caused a headache for the Twilight Knight." News had already reached Elliot's ears.
"But they are out of our reach as long as they stay in Twilight Town?" One of the officers asked. Twilight Town currently was detached from Spurcius and was a city that only happened to be in Spurcius but was fully independent.
"Not anymore, I've gotten permission from the Twilight Knight to send in a detention force to detain the two and rescue Angelina." This was a surprise for everyone, not only Elliot and Klaus.
Elliot turned to Klaus and saw that Klaus was still, "And so I'll be sending in a detention force, and I called you here to help us by adding your strongest, and in return, I'll give you anything."
"I just want my dear brother's daughter home safe." The Knight-King stood up and stabbed a dagger into Sebastian's head.
"I'll be there." And with that, he left the room.
"Make sure to prepare yourselves in one day." The meeting concluded so they all stood up and made their way to the doors but Elliot and Klaus were stopped by the minister.
"You two, stay." Klaus exhaled and Elliot held his breath and walked back.
The minister sat on his chair and put his feet on the table, "Let's cut the bullshit, I know what you did and what you are planning." Elliot expected his father to do something and reached for his sword but it wasn't there.
"I'm not going to hurt you." Elliot looked for his sword and then saw Klaus get in front of him.
"So I'm guessing that's the witch on your side?" Klaus had a strained smile, and Elliot looked at his father's side and there stood a hooded figure that held his sword.
"Great, you have just told me all I needed to know!" The minister clapped with joy.
"Father-" the minister put his hand up.
"I'm no longer your father, you have betrayed me for that Klein rat." Elliot couldn't help but laugh.
"Good, I never saw you as my father anyway!" Klaus put his arm up and pushed Elliot back.
"We know what you're planning by sending the force there."
"Oh Really? Then tell me Klein boy, what am I planning?" The minister was handed a smoke pipe by the hooded figure.
"You want to 'accidentally' cause Angelina's death and then you get off scot-free with the murder of Duke Ozyman."
"But you know we know because of that witch by your side and because of that sick oath." The minister's face didn't change and just blew smoke.
"Yeah, that's right. So because you already figured it out, I'll give you this one courtesy warning to you, Elliot. Don't be headless fools."
At that moment, something pierced Klaus' leg. It was too fast for Klaus to react.
Elliot lunged at the hooded figure but was grabbed by the arm by Klaus, who managed to withstand the pain, "stop it."
Klaus kept his smile but was grimacing at this same time, "This means war, you disgusting pig… I'll pull you down from that high chair myself…"
"Then bring it, Klein rat!" As he erupted with laughter, a sword flew through the air at Klaus but was caught by Elliot inches away from Klaus' head.
Klaus was shocked but not worried about the blade that nearly split his head in half, he was more worried about Elliot, who he expected to fly off the handle but Elliot just glared at the hooded figure who launched the sword "I'll remember this."
He quickly pulled Klaus out of the room and slammed the doors shut.
"It went right through…" Klaus touched the hole in his thigh.
"What do we do?!" Elliot was panicking because the blood didn't stop, no matter how much he tried to cover it.
"Get me to the captain's office." Klaus wore his coat to hide his injury and used Elliot as support.
They were in the Knight's Shield which was the military building of the capital, they got some looks due to Klaus leaning on Elliot.
Klaus guided them through the halls but they still managed to get lost, "This place is like a labyrinth!" Elliot shouted in frustration.
"I thought you knew your way around this place!?" Elliot was becoming extremely frustrated as Klaus was still bleeding out.
"You said it yourself, This place is a labyrinth!" Elliot was astonished that Klaus shouted back.
They continued to argue until they arrived at a small door, this was the first time Elliot had come to this part of the building.
Just as Elliot was going to knock, a man bumped into them, "Look where you're going, asshole!" Elliot shouted but the man continued walking.
Elliot cursed the man and knocked on the door, "come in." He opened the door and there sat a pale foreign man in his late twenties with one yellow eye and one blue eye, he had short black hair and wore a black turtleneck instead of the usual uniform. Elliot immediately knew who this was, everything about him stood out.
"Captain Jigokunova, sir!" Klaus let go of Elliot and saluted, Elliot looked down with shock and so did Klaus.
"At ease. And hello, sir Wolfgang." Klaus quickly unbuttoned his coat and they looked at his leg.
"What is it that you need, Klaus?" They looked at Klaus' leg and it was completely fine. The captain looked at the two curiously.
"Chess with toast, Captain Jigokunova!" Klaus quickly replied and Elliot was left very confused.
"Hmm, I see, care to join me for some tea?" The captain smiled.
Elliot was still in disbelief, "We'd be happy to!" Klaus pulled Elliot and made him sit down.
The captain knocked on the table, "Now, mind telling me about what happened during the meeting?" The captain poured the two tea, then stood up and looked out the window behind him.
The captain looked down at the crowd who gathered to listen to the high minister.
"Tell me everything in great detail." Elliot looked at Klaus.
"He can be trusted."
Elliot shivered at the thought of this man being on their side, if he had known who Klaus' captain was he would never have brought him here.
