"What?!" panic set on his face and he rushed to cover my mouth with his hand.
I looked into his purple eye and It got very awkward, "I'll remove my hand but please don't shout, I don't need Master to get involved."
He removed his hand and quickly started to untie the brown horse.
"Explain your reasoning." I mean, it felt out of character, why would he bother with apologizing when it was already too far gone?
"Because making an enemy of the Twilight Knight is the worst thing you could do in this life or the next." I stood next to him and the white horse leaned his head on me.
"Aren't you worried about what the shadow man said? If what he said was true, I'd die, remember?" he glanced at me.
"Pandres, I wouldn't put too much thought into what that pervert said."
"Just don't go," I remembered what that red-eyed man said…
I don't want to believe what that man said, "Don't let what he said come to true…" I accidentally let it slip and he stopped in his tracks.
"What's gotten into you? Pandres, I promise nothing bad will happen if I just go and apologize."
I can't withhold this information any longer, I have to stop him from going, "I've heard of a… prophecy that if I put too much trust in you it'll end with my death… I'm sorry, but I don't trust you enough to not give it any thought." His face changed and his body tensed up.
"Where'd you hear of this said 'prophecy'?" He had an interrogating tone.
"I just did." I can't expose my cards just yet.
"Pandres, if you didn't see the thing yourself then it's false." He grabbed the reins.
At this rate nothing was going to get him to stop, "Sebastian, I'll even let go of my goal. Just please don't go."

I was stunned, her face had a mix of desperation and fear, "Pandres…" Did she fear that pervert's words that much? And what is this about a prophecy?
"Fine, I'll just go back and get a carriage and an extra horse." She calmed down.
"Then promise me, make an oath." What is this girl talking about? I got off the horse and walked over to her.
I ruffled up her already messy hair and laughed, "Come on, Pandres? It's not that serious." She reminded me too much of the two so I couldn't help but treat her like one.
"I really needed that laugh. Trust me, I wouldn't do anything that would put you or Angel in danger, let alone myself." She sure acted silly at times.
I turned around to go back but she roughly grabbed my hand, "swear it."
'Such lack of trust…' I sighed and pulled my hand away, "Tch. I, Sebastian, son of the lady of the moon, swear on my heart that I won't go and meet the Twilight Knight. If I break this promise may my heart explode." A light shined out of my chest, and with the oath finished I got on the horse.
"Go back. If they ask, I went to grab some supplies." I couldn't tell what expression she was making, she just silently turned around and walked away.
I grabbed the reins and managed to make my way through the trees and onto the road, 'to let go of her goal that easily… such a pathetic... no, I have no right to speak like that.'
'But that's not the person whom I swore my loyalty to. Did her eyes deceive me?' I thought back to the times her eyes were like proof of her disposition to achieve her goal.

'And that prophecy… if she put too much trust in me, it'll end with her death?! Such bullshit, honestly, where the hell did she get that from?!' I was getting too worked, my heart was racing.
"Absolute nonsense… made me swear an oath as if I didn't do enough to gain her trust, I'm a man of my word, aren't I?' I was nearing the town.
'Acting as if I wouldn't protect her from all possible harm…' I tied the horse outside the town and walked.
I had no disguise or hood, 'If someone wanted to pick a fight I'd be happy to entertain them.' I walked through the streets and no one seemed to recognize me.
'My clothes do blend in, so maybe they think I just forgot my coat or something.' I was still wearing the clothes I got from the Twilight School.
I entered the market and bought some bandages, dried meat, and some other things and got a carriage and a horse to be prepared outside the town. I was just going through the motions empty-mindedly and stupidly used all my money.
I wandered and replayed the things I've been through with Pandres with the question of 'Did I do enough to gain her trust?'
In the end, I concluded 'I'm not owed her trust.' Which meant I'd just have to work harder.
As I mindlessly wandered, I realized that I had stopped. I had somehow made it to the building that Trinity used as the fraudulent Daybreak school, 'Why'd you bring me here?' I questioned my legs.
"Wonder if she got lost in that forest." I laughed but It wasn't real, even her suffering couldn't bring me happiness right now.
"The criminal always comes back to the crime scene." I jumped to the front and turned around while pulling out my sword.
I looked at where I was standing and an old man stood there, "calm down, cowboy." He put his hands up to calm me down.
He wore the Twilight armor and only had a dagger at his side, "If you've come to arrest me then too bad. I'll batter you to death, asshole." I was in no mood to deal with idiots.
"Chill, I'm not here to fight. I don't get paid enough to arrest someone who is a Daybreak swordsman." He smiled and scratched his scruffy beard.
"You're Sebastian, correct?" I shook my head and began to look for an escape route.
'His old bones shouldn't be able to follow me through rooftops.' I found a ladder leading to a roof but I had to get past him to get to it.
"Hmm you are wearing an eyepatch but you do look a lot like this poster…" he pulled out a wanted poster and turned it to me, the illustration looked exactly like me, and 'only dead' was written.
"I'll tell ya the young master has a knack for drawing people she meets."
"The girl from before also looks an awful lot like this." He pulled out another that looked exactly like her but she was just called the partner and she was also wanted as only dead.
I made sure I had a good grip on the bags and readied my legs, "Her name was erased but that was an order from the capital, you've made quite a name for yourself that even the capital is after you guys, hoh hoh!" He must've been stalling.
"So Sebastian-" I lunged to his left with one step and with another went to his right, and with a third step, I made it to the ladder and climbed up. After I made it to the roof, I looked down.
I saw a small dust cloud float in the air, 'He disappeared?' I turned around and found him smiling at me.
"It's very rude to leave when an elder is speaking." He laughed, "Of course, unless you're older than me, which is the rumor around town."
I'll just ignore that last part of petty provocation, '…Of course, he's up here, I underestimated him because of his age, but no matter the age a Twilight swordsman is still a Twilight swordsman.'
I tied the bags around my wrist, "try to keep up, old man." I jumped across the roofs and used wind magic to add to my steps.
"You really underestimate the bodies of old men." He was barely keeping up with me, I readied my sword.
"I'm warning you, I'm in a really foul mood." He laughed at me and continued to keep up.
'Fine.' I swung my sword and it felt as if my sword hit a wall, he had managed to stop my swing with a little dagger.
I used wind to push him off balance and put more force into my blade to knock him off his feet but he somehow kept his balance.
I put some distance between us as I jumped to another roof, 'he's pretty damn good.' He stood and watched me.
"It'd be better if you just let me go, I'd rather not have your blood on my hands." His brow rose.
"Blood? We both know you can't kill me, young one." Two possible meanings: he deduced from the time I rampaged through the mob or he thinks he can beat me. Either way, he was right, I couldn't kill him.
"Don't you have grandkids? Go home, you said it yourself, you don't get paid enough to deal with me." His shoulders slumped and looked down.
"That is why-" I took this opportunity to get away and kept on running.
I ran and jumped across roofs and dropped down into a random alleyway, 'haa shitty old geezer.' I was out of breath.
My heart felt like it was beating out of my chest so I slumped down against the wall, "You sure are a fast runner," I glanced at the entrance of the alley and there stood the geezer.
"Let me catch my breath." I joked, I was astonished that he managed to find and keep up with me.
Surprisingly, he let me "As I was saying, I just wanted to talk." Talk? He wanted to talk, so he chased after me. Hahahaha.
"And if I don't want to talk?" I got to my feet and looked at the other end of the alley which was a dead end.
I gently put the bags on the ground and held my sword in my right hand, "then I'll have to fight you."
"Then this alley will be your final resting place." He laughed at me and slowly approached.
"It's still too early for me to die-" Enough of this nonsense.
I swung my sword from the top and aimed for his head but got blocked, he retaliated with a kick to my right leg.
I put stepped back, 'I'm getting pushed back… fuck it!' I started to swing indiscriminately and each swing got blocked but I was pushing him back.
'I just need to push him all the way out and run.'
I attempted to swing my sword from the right side but it scraped against the wall and sparks flew which obstructed my vision, 'shit!' He took this opportunity to step in and aim for my left eye with his dagger.
I jumped back and switched my sword to my left hand, "This is disadvantageous for you, a sword in a small area against a dagger is not optimal so just stop." He continued to speak but I just blocked it out.
'I needed to be careful with my swings, wait… maybe? I'm not ambidextrous but it should still be fine.' I got into my stance and relaxed my shoulders.
I steadied my breath and closed my eyes, spread my legs slightly apart, and made sure I had a good grip on my sword.
'The sword feels weird in my left hand but strangely enough, it felt lighter.'
I opened my eye and he was within range, "Hey? Hey?! Okay, I give up!" I prepared myself mentally to finally kill a person.
"Listen, I just want to talk, seriously!" I snapped out of my concentration by the sound of his dagger landing at my feet.
"Why? Why did you give up? Why do you even want to talk?" I maintained my stance and felt a mix of anger and confusion while I looked at him sweat bullets.
"I've lived long enough to know when I'm about to die." He recognized that he was within range and that no matter how fast he tried to back away I was still going to get him. A veteran geezer this one.
"Still haven't answered the second one." I kicked his dagger behind me.
"I was going to tell you but you kept running, I just want you to apologize to the Twilight Knight."
