Everything happened too fast. One moment I was moving back and forth making Holt angry, the next moment I was desperately trying to not get stepped on by Holt who took a large step in my direction.
And thats when the world turned a shade of deep blue as I saw Holt lift up the line which was now emitting more of the blue jagged lines, this time however they hummed and crackled with increasing volume. Once the hum turned into a whine, Holt threw the now blue line into the sphere which had started to dissipate. As the line went through the sphere, it caused the sphere to spread out, before it struck and a blue light once again filled the space.
As the light toned down, I was able to see what was at the other side. What awaited me was a creature in what seemed to be a silver shell. Instead of the black lines adorning its shell like the red shells, the lines were gold and more numorious. On the back of the silver shell appeared to be a black flowy thing, I dont think shell would be a good definitive quality of the thing as it had numorous holes and moved around too much. After all the information I gained with my creation precisely stated that shells are protective and cover the entire body or most of it, the thing didn't. It just flowed uselessly, oo it might be its wings but they look pretty badly damaged. It held a line with an intersecting line near the bottom. The longer line ended with a sharp point and was silver with spalshes of red. It used this line to push the line with two end points that Holt threw, into the wall.
Holt then turned the top of its shell and looked down at me.
"I have a very strong feeling that you understand what I am saying so listen carefully creature, this is not over between us so you better stay still, or I'll use that fur to create a hat for myself."
Holt's voice was filled with venom as it said this, but honestly I was just confused on what a hat was. Part of me wanted to see what would happen, but Holt's tone told me to listen to it. But at the same time I didnt want to stay still, so I'll just find the oppurtune time to escape. The escape would have been easier if these shapes weren't following me and it was just my nonexistent body and I. For now I just looked back at Holt and stood still.
"Good!"
Then with speed that I did not expect from Holt, it ran towards the now dissipated sphere.
Huh I wonder where the three red shells went.
For some odd reason, the three red shells that were engulfed by the sphere were suddenly gone. I couldn't come up with a logical explanation so I just ignored their sudden disappearance.
Now that I could clearly see the silver shell, I couldn't help but think how beautiful it was. I'd rather look at the silver shell rather than the ones with red shells.
As I was thinking of all of this, it seemed like three of the red shells, whose names I didn't know, made it to the silver shell and started doing a dance with it? They had an assortment of shapes. One had a sphere that was connected to a very loose line, another had a long brown line with silver tips on both sides that the red shell swung and twirled around with great force. The last one had an almost similar line to the one the silver shell had.
I saw that Holt was closing in on the dancing, and Master was doing weird motions while it moved the sides of it's shell.
It was surprising the three red shells suddenly split in two, causing a spray of dark red to spread out, it just happened so fast, and that I never knew the red shells could seperate different segments of their body.
For some weird reason however they cried out digustingly and stopped moving, very strange indeed. This was the time that Holt came to the scene and when Master finished doing the weird motion with the sides of its shell.
Holt pulled out it's line and stabbed towards the silver shell causing some bright flakes to appear as the line glided across the silver shell.
The silver shell in retaliation grabbed Holt and moved it infront of itself as a yellow jagged line flashed across the space and hit Holt.
I was mesmerized, the yellow line was so pretty. Was that what Master did? I wanted to do that too! So I started moving the shapes infront of me in weird patterns like Master did, but for some reason once I finished doing weird movements, nothing happened.
Huh why arent you doing the flashy thingy?!
I angrily waved the shapes up and down, before I noticed that Master got engulfed by some colum that was pure white. Then the colum disappeared and Master with it, very weird. I decided to look over to the silver shell, I saw that the red shells seemed to have lost the dance battle and were resting now. For some reason some of them were missing completely or in parts. One was even suspended midair by a tranglur brownish thing. Very strange indeed.
Silence descended on the space as I noticed the silver shell turn the top of its shell towards me, something that ment that it was looking at me, I atleast think thats what that movement ment as thats what the red shells did all the time.
So we just stared at each other until I got bored, so I started moving towards the silver shell. The silver shell seemed to get in a position that look reminiscent of when the dance battle started.
No I dont want to dance, I want to leave.
It seemed like the silver shell started doing a defense mechanism as it started shaking, or I think it started to shake? I couldn't tell from this distance.

"Stay back!"
It waved its line desperately as it spoke in a quivering voice that sounded sweet on the ears, I think it would've sounded nicer if it didnt sound so... worried? I couldn't help but be confused by this.
Are you worried that I would try to start a dance battle when you've already won one? I said I wasn't interested.
I did stop cause I didn't want to deal with being turned into a hat, so I just blankly looked at it.

Pov Silver knight.
Damn electricity hurts a crap ton.
I thought to myself as I used one of the higher leveled cultists as a shield. Thankfully he didn't explode in a gory mess and instead took the entire blast while discharging some into my knight armor.
I quickly threw away his corpse at the lower leveled cultist who almost got a arrow nooked in time, I ignored her for now as I quickly spun around, catching the daggers of the higher leveled cultist and shoving him back. Before I could stab him through his chest though, an arrow went into my shoulder. Something that shouldn't have been possible for a low level archer.
Atleast the arrow isnt poisoned like last time.
I thought to myself as I took a few steps back. Where I just was, two arrows and a simple lighting spell landed.
So the archer has a masking amulet?
I used one of the more expensive scrolls on the archer who just nocked another arrow and a stone spike extended from the gound at tremendous speeds, penetrating the archer, which killed her instantly.
Out of pure reflex I rasied my arm to block my vision, and felt 3 throwing knives impact my arm.
The throwing knives seemed to favor speed over power as I had to constanly protect my weak points from getting cut, some made it through and left small cuts, but thankfully none actually got a good hit in. I quickly spun my sword around, and luckly it was fatal as the assassin's head went flying.
Without giving up my advantage I quickly readied my scroll of [Judgement]. It seemed I couldnt ready it in time as a bolt of lightning hit my left arm making it useless for an unknown period of time.
Well atleast the spellcaster panicked and missed the vitals. I, however, didnt miss as a pure white column hit him straight on, easily turning the spellcaster into ashes. Ah that sucks, spellcasters always carry around the most expensive gear.
Well atleast the rest of the high levels have their gear still here, especially that lightning bident- wait whats that?
I saw something cute and fluffly amongst the left overs of the sacrifices. It had pure white fur that even the queen would want desperately almost like the people born in the slums desperately wanting a piece of bread. The pitch black lines seemed to consume light as they made their presence known among the pristine white fur, its eyes, atleast I think thats what the pitch black orbs on its face were, seemed to be staring into my soul uncaringly. It just didn't fit with all the gore and blood which would've made this creature look a bit intimidating if it wasn't so small.
Im really hoping this thing doesn't get angry at me for doing this.
Now that I've thought about, I wouldnt mind seeing the cute thing being angry. I activated [Appraisal] on the creature and watied to see something.
...
I activated it again thinking I just didn't activate the skill.
...
Still nothing. I started panicking with each failed activation of [Appraisal].
The failure of [Appraisal] could only mean one of three things.
1) The creature was just too powerful to be appraised normally.
2) I'm not high enough level to see its status.
3) It was wearing a cloaking amulet.
And since 3 didn't make sense for a creature, this situation was really bad. What's worse is that it was already getting close. I moved my bastard sword in-between us and just now noticed how much I was shaking.
"Stay back!"
I desperatly tried making myself look big, which would've looked dumb for a spectator as I was already towering over the creature. But it seemed to hardly do anything as the creature just looked at me uncaringly.
Those idiotic bastards! Why did they summon this thing!?
I stood no chance fighting this creature so all I did was get in a defensive position and activate the 2 defensive skills that I had, [Ironwill] and [Earthen Defense] and stood at guard waiting for the creature to make the first move, hopefull that I could atleast survive long enough for it to get bored and just leave me be.
----------------------------------------
The creature definitely had the intelligence needed to know how long buffs last as it just sat there looking at me with its unblinking eyes, it knew I would not be able to defeat it in combat. But it didn't make sense on why it didn't move other than the occasional twitch of one of its angelic wings. And then the buffs ended.
Due to getting mana sickness as a result from using so many high-tiered scrolls in such a short time, the wounds that I had gotten, the overall fatigue and the use of the buffs, I was just too tired.
I fell onto one knee, using my sword as support as the plate armor pushed down on me wanting to crush me. Thankfully unlike the other knights, I didn't rely on mana or batteries to keep these suits of pure metal from turning into death traps. I actually trained without any of those things and barely used mana and batteries for fighting, of course I was a laughing stock at the start as no one was insane enough to do what I did, and thats one of the reasons why I'm a solo.
I was proud to be the knight who I was now, but sadly all that hardwork cant beat absolute power I guess. I decided to accept my fate and closed my eyes, waiting for the creature to finish playing around with me and just give me the release of death.
But as I waited and waited, nothing came. I hesitantly opened my eyes and looked at the creature which was suddenly right infront of me looking into my face.
Now that its closer, it is so much more fluffier- I want to touch it-
I didn't even finish that thought as I looked in horror as my arm was already hovering over its body.
Crap! I moved unconsciously!.... well if im going to die anyways, I want to atleast feel its fur.
Out of sheer desperation, or idioticy, I decided to take the chance and pet the damned thing. I struggled to take off the gauntlet off my right hand as my left arm was still messed up from the lightning attack. Once I took it off after an embarrisingly long time, I looked at the creature, which seemed to still be looking at me, and I hesitatingly pat it and continued to do so until I felt fatigue drag me into unconciousness.
My goal has been fufilled, thank you creature, I will die happily now.
And the world went dark.
