I looked over at how Eclipse would stop and enjoy the view, even when it was just a rock, it seemed to be really excited.

I really want to hug youuu... But the trio from earlier seemed to also be going to the city so by fate, we were traveling together.

I couldn't help but sigh in defeat as I looked at the source of my problems. Gerald, Mike and Lex. I tried really hard to get angry at them, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't help but feel bad for them.

After all I did almost kill them once due to us fighting, and was prepared to kill them even after we ended the fight, they were just trying to finish the job with no loose ends. Gerald was more of a saint than the saintess herself. He also seemed to be ready to use his body to protect the other two. He seemed fatherly.

Wait of course he's fatherly. He's got a wife and 2 daughters.

I was able to gain this information from directly asking how his family was doing, he seemed really happy when he heard me ask and talked very lovingly about his family.

I would not have been able to forgive myself if I had killed this man or one of his teammates.

I am very thankfully that Mike said mercy when he did. Mike was... interesting to say the least. He joked and laughed most of the time, but sometimes I would catch him looking off into the distance with a cold and calculated look on his face.

Some of his smiles seemed sad, but the majority of them were geniune when he spoke with Lex or Gerald. I only saw him smile sadly when he looked at Eclipse. I wanted to ask him. but I never was able to get alone with him. He was definitely a man of many mysteries.

Finally there was Lex... She really hated Eclipse as she still seemed to believe that it was a demon, she also placed that hatred on me for some reason, either because I sided with the supposed demon, or that I came from nobility.

Even though I don't want anything to do with nobles.

I could only guess from the tidbits of information that I was able to get from Gerald or Mike. They were definitely reluctant, and I understand why, after all we just met.

Anyways I think the reason why me and Eclipse were hated by Lex was due to the fact that the area were she lived was attacked by demons, and since nobility only protects stuff that would make them more powerful, they didn't send a single soul to help the people of Lex's hometown.

I also noticed that Lex had a huge crush on Mike, even though she tried to play it off. So in-between watching Eclipse see the world and seeing how entertaining Lex was when she was with Mike, was definitely a entertaining.

I also saw Eclipse get frightened by its own reflextion near a small creek we had to cross. After the inital fright, Eclipse musterd up the courage and approached the creek and stared into it.

I wonder if it's trying to talk with it, after all they are the same sub-species.

I thought at the time as I and the trio watched the juvenile moth across the creak. And I couldn't help but notice that Lex looked at it without hate for once. Eclipse then stomped its legs and couldn't help but notice that its reflection did the same thing. Eclipse went back to staring at its reflextion before it leaned in and disturbed the water, making the reflection disappear. Which caused the juvenile moth to hurriedly look around. It then looked at me and I couldn't help but feel bad for it as it seemed to be sad that its friend disappeared, I could only tell this when I noticed its wings droop down. This looked similar to when I told it I told it I wouldn't be able to explain somethings until the trio left, but this time. Eclipse seemed really sad.

This was when I ran over and quickly explained about what reflections are, which took alot of help from the trio, even Lex came to help.

This was when the trio learned how old it was when Mike aked me why it acted as a kid.

After I told that it was 2 days old and the promise I made, Mike started mumbling about how rare a creature like this was. Gerald immediatly started talking how heroic I was, due to taking in a young creature and promising to find its mother, I will keep the fact that I thought it was a world detroyer the second I heard this. Lastly Lex surprised me when she immediatly started saying sorry to the both of us.

As I relived everything that happemed, it seems that we finally saw the city of Ralram far off in the distance. Ralram was one of the major cities in the country.

"Miss knight, I advise hiding Eclipse from sight, it is too noticeable which might cause some problems."

I heard Gerald speak out to me.

"Yes you are correct, but how would we hide it?"

I replied slightly sighing at the problem past me couldn't answer.

"Do you still have your cloak?"

Gerald asked and I couldn't help but stare at him in disbelief.

Why didn't I think of that...

"I see what you're trying to get at Gerald, I can't believe it slipped my mind."

I replied as I reached out into my spatial pouch and pulled out a black cloak, which was bigger than me by a bit, allowing it to fully enclose my figure.

"Eclipse, come over here."

I called out to Eclipse as I put on the cloak as I knelt down on one knee and held out a hand. I had the hood up which covered my helm. The one problem I had with this cloak was that it blocked some of my vision when the hood was up.

Eclipse looked over in my direction but didn't come for some reason, it just looked around.

"Uh Eclipse I'm here?"

I once again called out to Eclipse, slightly confused. It once again looked at me and moved around me.

"Miss knight... it doesn't know that's you..."

I heard Gerald stifle in a laugh as he said this. Mike and Lex had to look away as I heard small laughter come from them.

I felt my face burning up as I replied.

"R-right."

I lifted up the hood of the cloak and Eclipse froze before flapping its wings aggressively.

Lex and Mike doubled in laughter, and Gerald was outright struggling now.

"S-sorry Eclipse, I forgot that everything is still new for you. I- I am wearing a cloak but it's still me."

I said embarrassed before clearing my throat.

"Anyways, the city is going to be dangerous for you, so you're going to have to be inside my cloak for the majority of the way to the city and in the city. I can't tell you why until I tell you what death is."

I said the last part softly as I spread out both of my hands to beckon Eclipse in.

"Alright since we're about to go on the roads, come here."

Eclipse hesitated, but in the end it trotted into my arms and I stood up.

Thankfully it was the size of the baby so I could hold it in one of my arms, but I held it in two arms as I brought it to my chest. I left my cloak open but I did lift up my hood with a single hand.

Eclipse seemed to find it comfortable enough as it snuggled into me.

"Alright we're ready."

I looked over to the trio as I said this, and saw that Lex was looking away with embarrassment clearly shown in her face.

I wonder what happened...

"Lex thinks that Eclipse is adorable when it's being held like that- oof."

Mike said with a stupid grin before that grin turned into a pained expression as the now red faced Lex punched him in the gut.

"Hey at least I didn't say how many times you've said you wanted to pet it-"

Mike said while in pain, the same stupid grin was present even if it seemed pained. This time Lex kicked his shin, and stormed off, looking more like a tomato than human.

I couldn't help but laugh with Gerald.
