I start looking for monsters in the surroundings until I find another fat mouse. Although it's not the best monster to test my skills, it's still worth hunting.
Hardened sword!
I activated my buff skill to prevent the wooden sword from breaking and ran towards the fat mouse to attack it, noticing that I was going towards it. The fat mouse also jumps on me, intending to bite me, so I duck and perform a basic attack straight to its neck.
[You have hunted a fat mouse]
The battle barely lasted about 5 seconds. Thanks to the skill "Hardened Sword," the wooden sword increased its hardness, so you could say that it is now equivalent to an ordinary metal sword, but with the earth attribute.
I didn't want to use the other skill because then I wouldn't be able to sell the monster bodies at a higher price.
Well, at least I can use the skills without any problem. Let's keep looking for monsters.
...
[You have hunted fat mouse x9]
After 7 minutes, I could only find this group of fat mice. I have only 3 minutes left, so I try to find a different monster so I can seal it and free the fat mouse.
But when I have 2 minutes left for the skill effect to end, I find a new monster, the light blue scale lizard.
This monster is similar to a marine iguana. It is two meters long, and its scales have a light blue hue, not to mention that it has the earth/water attribute.
When the blue-scaled lizard becomes aware of my presence, it starts throwing water balls out of its mouth, so I start running in a zigzag pattern to dodge them. The water balls are so strong that they end up tearing off some of the bark of the surrounding trees, so I can't deflect or block them.
I try to get closer
Once I get close enough to hurt it, the lizard turns its head, intending to bite my neck, but I can react in time and duck to dodge the attack and then thrust my sword into its shoulder.
Saw!
I use the skill saw and tear part of the lizard's flesh, causing it to grunt and fall to the ground, but it doesn't end here.
Hardened sword!
I harden my sword and hit him in the head in hopes of knocking him out, but it doesn't work and only stuns him for a few moments. So I quickly pull out the intertwined rope and start tying him up to prevent him from moving so I can seal him.
Once I finish tying him up, so does my ability possession. As promised, I pull out a steel sword from my inventory and break the wooden sword.
As I do so, it releases a bright light, and from it emerges the fat mouse that I sealed, which quickly attacks me, so I use the broken wooden sword and give it a blow that knocks out the fat mouse.
I already knew that it would attack me when I broke the sword, and since I promised to free it, I couldn't just kill it.
I grab the fat mouse and leave it in some bushes hiding, then return to where I left the light blue scale lizard to seal it, only this time I will seal it on the steel sword.
I approach the lizard to make sure it's immobilized and doesn't move much during the sealing because if it does, it will break the mana chains.
Seal Monster!
I release the ability to seal the lizard on my steel sword, as there is only a 10% chance of sealing it or maybe less. I sit on the ground while I wait for it to finish.
...
After five attempts, the lizard is sealed and changes the appearance of my sword. Its blade and guard are light blue, while the hilt has a black color with scale patterns. Now let's see its characteristics.

[Katana type steel sword with no name (You can name it)]
[Attribute: Earth/Water]
[Description: An ordinary steel sword that is sealed by "The Sky Scaled Lizard" a monster that can attack from a distance and is capable of breaking the bones of its opponents with the strength of its legs]
[Characteristics: HP/MP/Stamina +10, Strength/Skill +2]
Not bad at all. I'll find out about the skills when I can use possession again, which is a long way off, so let's take advantage of this moment to hunt and seal other interesting monsters.
I continue wandering through the forest looking for monsters, and I meet the light blue scaled lizard again, but there are two of them this time. While I could take on both of them, I could cause a lot of noise, which would attract more monsters than I can currently handle, so I have to pass for now or until I can use possession again.
I move away from that pair of lizards and look for other monsters. It doesn't take me long to find another lizard, so I run towards it in a zigzag pattern to dodge the water attacks it will throw at me. It does indeed do so when it sees me.
I dodge the water balls and keep getting closer to his neck, but I don't plan to leave him alive this time.
Focused Slash!
The laido comes out of my sword and slashes the lizard's head, which causes blood to gush out loudly and splash me a bit, but it's not much of a bother, so I pick up the body and continue searching.
While looking for monsters, I also collect all the herbs I find, as they are necessary for Kawaii's future evolution.
After 30 minutes of exploring, I managed to get the bodies of ten fat mice and four light blue scale lizards. I also got 23 Noda herbs and 10 Macra herbs. Still, the best of all is that now I can use the possession skill again and hunt faster.
Possession!
I use the skill and get ready to face the blue-scaled lizard again in that strange place, but I don't understand. I don't do that, and I feel how my body starts to change.
Light blue scales appear on my arms and legs. I also got a 20 centimeters long reptilian tail while in my mouth. I feel that my tongue is now more extended. I also have a third eyelid which is a good thing because it can protect me from dust during a fight. Now, let's review the skills.

[Passive Abilities: Cold Mind - Cold Blood - Shine - Hardened Scale]
[Pet: Floral Hedgehog]
[Titles: Novice Herbal Seeker - Merciless – Crafty Dog]
Unlike the previous sword, this one has an extra active and passive ability. Still, I don't know if the monster is stronger or because the weapon is stronger. In any case, we start reviewing.
[Active Abilities]
[Attack: Heavy Slash]
[You perform a slash with the same muscle strength as a celestial scaled lizard, if you use the flat part of your blade, you have a 5% chance to stun your opponent (2% extra if you aim for the head)]
[Cost: 30 MP]
[Cooldown: 10 Seconds]
[Defense: Skin molt]
[When you change skin you can wipe all status effects]
[Cost: 100 MP]
[Cooldown: 2 Minutes]
[Buff: Water Wave]
[For the next 2 minutes, when you perform a basic attack, you will have a 5% chance to release a wave of water the size of your sword blade that will hit the enemy]
[Cost: 200 MP]
[Cooldown: 5 minutes]
[Passive Abilities]
[Cold Blood: Warm environments don't affect you, but cold climates will cause you to lose 5% of your HP every 10 seconds]
[Shine: If the sun illuminates your scales, you will have a 14% chance of temporarily blinding your enemy]
[Hardened scale: The scales on your body increase your defense by 20%].
The only thing that could be considered a disadvantage is the passive ability of cold blood because I have no idea if it also takes into account the night. After all, it is when the temperature drops. In any case, I should avoid using this sword at night.
For now, let's hunt more monsters. I still need to find the iron vulture, the crystal fox, and the mud golem. But I think I'll avoid the latter as it sounds like it's a very defensive monster and having the sky-scaled lizard is more than enough.
My hunt resumes, and I start looking for monsters around, this time, my luck is not bad, and I find a group of fat mice, so I run in their direction.
Water wave!
I activate the buff and start hitting the mice with basic attacks. Since there are many mice, I try to finish the fight as fast as possible, so I wave my sword in all directions.
When I cut the head of a fat mouse during that fight, a water laido of water was released 1 centimeter from the tip of my sword. As there was no monster behind the mouse, nothing happened, so I continued the fight.
[You hunted fat mouse x16]
After 2 minutes of intense fighting, I managed to kill all the mice, there were only about 7 or 8, but the group's noise made 8 or 9 more come, so the fight went on for a while longer.
And during those 2 minutes, I only activated the water wave two times, and that's because I didn't perform many basic attacks since I was concentrating on dodging and hitting.
I still have 7 minutes left, so I start walking to find new monsters around, which doesn't take long because I find the pair of lizards I saw earlier. Now I have two options; the first is to fight and eliminate them quickly, and the second is to attack them and let them attract more lizards.
We better go for option one. After all, I have to think about the safety of both myself and Kawaii, so let's go for this option. I tighten the sword and run in zigzag to avoid the attacks from the pair of lizards, which does not take long because just 4 seconds after I run, they start shooting water balls trying to hit me.
I use the surrounding trees to protect myself from damage, but it is still complicated.
[-160 HP]
A water bullet hits my arm, but the scales cushion the blow. I can only feel as if they had hit me with a baseball, so the pain is tolerable, and I keep running towards them until I get close to the neck of one of them.
Heavy slash!
I use the heavy slash, and the lizard's head falls. The cut is so clean that the blood takes a while to gush out. Besides, the lizard's body continues to move as if it still doesn't notice that its head is gone.
I take advantage of this lapse of time to flank the other lizard that has stopped shooting waterballs, I don't know if it was because of the shock of seeing his partner's head flying or because I didn't want to hurt him, but I take advantage of this time to run in his direction and cut his neck.
HE REACTS when I'm under his neck, but it's too late because my blade has already cut his neck.
The lizard gasps for a few seconds and falls to the ground due to the massive blood loss, so I grab both bodies and continue my hunt.
With all these fights, I can notice that this sword is more oriented to 1vs1 combat, so I must be more careful when there are more than two enemies; fortunately, this fight didn't last more than 1 minute and didn't attract other lizards.
Well, let's make a lot of money!
