Henry decided to keep practicing the new form until the others woke up.

Two hours later, Captain Eve came out of her tent.

"Oh, Hellwalker. Good morning. You're up so early."

Henry, who had taken off his armor and was now wearing casual training clothes, used his towel to wipe his sweat.

"Good morning, Captain. Remember that potion I wanted made? It had a bonus effect of making me need half the sleeping time."

"Oh, that's very handy. Daphne must've put a lot of effort into your potion, that's quite the hard to induce effect. Anyways, you plan to split from us today, yeah?"

"Yes. I appreciate everything you've all done, but I plan to only leave a region when I slay its king. I'm not leaving here until I kill Andromalius."

"Alright, I won't stop you. However, if you meet Andromalius in the six remaining days we're here, use this communicator to notify us so we can come help you and get our artifact." Eve handed Henry a MagiTech communicator.

"Yes. I'll wait for everyone to wake up to say bye and leave. Truly, thank you, Captain."

"No problem, Hellwalker. You can repay me by killing those filthy demon kings who've been terrorizing the common folk for millennia. By the way, isn't that surname a little too suitable for your current job? Is it fate or what?"

Henry chuckled. "Kinda. I was actually raised in an orphanage, and they let us pick our own surnames once we hit 13. Obviously, teenage me wanted a cool surname, and Hellwalker was what first came to mind. Haha, there's actually one of use who even called himself Alfred Dragonsbane. And guess what, he now works as the empire's ambassador with the dragons. In his case, the name ended up being quite the problem."

"Haha, so it's just luck."

Henry and Eve kept chatting until the others woke up.

"See you later, everyone. I'll be sure to bring Andromalius' head to the Cathedral once I kill him." Henry said with a smile on his face. Despite having only known these people for a few days, he had grown rather attached.

"See ya, dude." Joseph waved at Henry, prompting the others to do the same.

"Farewell, Mr.Hellwalker." They all said in unison.

And so, Henry was alone in Hell, the most unsafe place ever.

'Damn. Can't say it feels good, being alone in Hell.' He started trekking to the peak of the Mephilis Volcano, wanting to collect the forging material there, as well as check out that quest. He had brought a pickaxe with him, so he was ready to mine.

Suddenly while climbing, he felt multiple tremors under his feet.

'Ashworms.' Ashworms were species of large worm like middle demons that lived near Hell's many volcanoes. They could burrow into the ground and emerge, ambushing their enemies. Luckily, Henry could sense its exact location with Mind's Eye.

Henry leaped high into the air as his Demon Slaying Energy gained a crimson outline and pointed his sword at the ground.

Meanwhile, five Ashworms emerged from underground. They looked like long black worms with some red spots on their body. Their mouths were like a circle of teeth that could chew rocks with ease.

Henry fell towards them at terminal velocity, ready to crush them.

However, just then, the worms put their mouths next to each other and formed a huge fireball which they shot towards Henry, and Henry couldn't dodge it in time.

'Wait, I have just the thing! Magic Defense!'

The Swordmaster's Armor shook a little and its crystals went from containing Demon Slaying Energy to containing black energy. Once the fireball hit the armor, it vanished and the armor went back to normal.

Fortunately, absorbing the spell hadn't impacted Henry's momentum, so he descended right in between the worms which were in a circular formation. The form involved wrapping aura around your sword to make it look like a huge arrow, so the aura arrow pierced all the worms, cutting them.

'Phew.' Henry landed and continued his trek. He met a twelve more worms, but he was ready for them now and eliminated them with ease. His Demon Slaying Energy leveled up with 285/1500 Exp.

He was now finally at the peak of the volcano.

Henry looked at the volcanic opening, finding the sight of the bubbling magma and emerging lava quite fearsome.

He walked carefully around the opening, making sure to take slow, careful steps and not fall.

After walking for a while more, he finally saw it.

It was the giant skeleton of a dragon lying down on the ground. The lava touched it sometimes while bubbling, but it was unaffected. He walked to it.

The skeleton suddenly began emitting a purple aura and rose to its four feet, its eyes glowing purple.

'Necromancy...' Necromancy, a type of magic forbidden in most nations and condemned by all magic towers except the Necromancy Tower itself.

The skeletal dragon arose to its feet and looked down at Henry with a fearsome gaze.

Henry then heard a powerful male voice inside his head. It sounded like a lion's roar while still being comprehensible.

'Human, are you the one the third princess predicted would emerge back then? The one with a power that destroys demons without the constrictions of serving one of those who call themselves gods?'

"You mean Demon Slaying Energy? Yes, that's me."

'Good. Say, do you know of demonic dragons?'

"Yes. Demonic dragons are dragons who make deals with the most powerful demon kings and gain access to demonic energy, being the only demonic species ranked as Catastrophic Demons. What about them?"
