Henry was very pleased by these two messages. He then turned to Eve.
"Alright, Captain, I'm a Knight now. No need for more."
"Oh, is that so? Ah, yes, now that I look at it, your Will has grown a lot. Good job, Hellwalker."
Eve deactivated her Sword Will Manifestation, and her gear went back to norma. The imaginary sun along with the phantoms all disappeared, returning the normal arena.
"To think you'd make me activate my Sword Will. What was that strange invisibility? It resisted the laws of my Sword Will Manifestation, so it must have some crazy origin."
"Ah..." Henry was surprised. He couldn't exactly tell Eve that this was the blessing of a strange cosmic being, especially not one who controls darkness. He'd be considered a heretic and executed on sight.
"Whatever, it's fine. I didn't sense demonic energy from it, so you don't have to tell me. Anyways, it's a cool ability."
"Thanks, Captain." Henry saw Eve's gesture of trust as a big favor.
You have completed the sub quest "Achieve Knight Level Sword Mastery".
You have completed the sub quest "Complete the training with demon hunter Eve Forger".
"Anyways, now that you're a knight, you should learn aura shaping. Joseph is better than I am at this, so he will teach you."
"Yes. By the way, Captain, do you have a copy of the second volume of the Encyclopaedia Daemonica?"
"Sure. Let me get it for you." Eve went to another room in the Cathedral and came back with the book soon.
"Here ya go."
"Thanks."
Henry took the book.
The second volume of the Encyclopaedia Daemonica has been added. You may access it from the Knowledge tab.
"Joseph! Come teach Hellwalker aura shaping."
"Yes, Captain."
Henry spent the remaining of the day learning aura shaping. It was quite a simple principle; it just needed the accurate senses of a matured Mind's Eye to help control the aura perfectly.
"Captain, do you know a skilled alchemist?"
"Oh? Sure. There's a girl in the Powerholder's Market, her name is Daphne Faustir. Just ask for her shop and you'll find it."
"I see, thank you."
Henry left the Cathedral, ready to buy quite a lot of stuff. He had wanted to buy a space ring, but he had tried this new Inventory feature, and it was just a better space ring. It had infinite storage, and could put objects into chrono stasis if he selected that option, so food wouldn't spoil or such. So now, he just had to buy a lot of food and clean water, as well as go to that alchemist to make a potion out of the dragon blood, which had appeared in his Inventory during the day, as well as the Swordmaster's Armor.
He withdrew a lot of his savings from the royal bank and bought the things he needed. He then went into the Powerholder's Market.
'Ah, I should buy myself a MagiTech Gun, in case I manage to buy that experience crystal before the week ends.'
He stopped by a stall named "Creati's Pride" which seemed to sell MagiTech objects.
"Hello?"
The shopkeeper, an old man of short stature, came in. He had a MagiTech prosthetic eye and arms.
"Hello, sir. How can I help you?"
"I was looking for MagiTech gun."
"Oh, sure. Come here, I'll show you our collection."
The shopkeeper led Henry to a small room in the shop that contained a lot of strange looking MagiTech guns and rifles.
"May I know what type of gun you're looking for?"
"I'd like a gun that's suitable for one-on-many situations, while having easy to store and cheap ammo."
"Ah, I have quite a few suitable guns for this. Here. Take your pick." The shopkeeper showed Henry three guns.
'Oh, crap. I don't know shit about guns. Wait, the system said something about an "Analyze" feature. Maybe that can help? Analyze!'
Three small system windows appeared next to each of the guns.

'Hmm...Well, the system seems to be recommending the third one, so I'll take it.'
"I'll take this one."
"Ah, Ranger. An excellent choice. That'll be 53 Kevi for the gun and ten reloads' worth of ammo."
"Ah, actually, I'd like more. Like, 200 reloads' worth."
"Oh, great First Thought, that's quite a lot. As you wish, however. That'll make your total 130 Kevi."
"Alright." Henry handed the shopkeeper a hundred kevus bill, a twenty five kevus bill, and five 1 kevus coins.
He took his things, put them in the inventory, and went to the alchemy part of the Powerholders' Market. He asked around for Daphne Faustir, the alchemist Captain Eve had recommended, and found her shop. It was a huge, busy shop. There was a very long line, which annoyed Henry. However, he noticed a sign that had "As thanks for protecting the empire, war veterans can cut the line by showing their military ID." written on it.
'Finally. I never did get to use this ID much.'
Henry still had his military ID, which stated that he had fought in the war on Minos Island. He showed it to the guard guarding the door.
"Please come in, sir."
Henry went inside and found a green haired young woman wearing a lab coat standing in front of many bottles of liquids.
"Good evening."
"Ah, good evening, sir. How can I help you?"
Henry pulled out the small flask of dragon blood from his inventory and put it on the table.
"I'd like to make a Dragonkin potion with this blood."
The girl lifted the flask and examined it.
"Such high quality, pure dragon blood! I can make a peak grade Dragonkin Potion out of this. May I know where you got this?"
"An...auction."
"I see. When would you like this potion, sir? I'm very excited to work on this, so I can make it right now if you want."
"Sure, I want it now."
"As you wish. Please wait for ten minutes at most." The girl took the flask and entered the shop's back.
Meanwhile, Henry sat and read a bit about the demons of the 72nd circle.
Seven minutes later, the girl, who was probably this Daphne Faustir, walked out carrying a bottle of red, bubbling liquid.
"Here you go, sir. That'll be five Kevi for the brewing and supplementary materials."
Before paying, Henry analyzed the potion.
Analysis Results:
Peak Grade Dragonkin Potion:
"A very well crafted potion made from the blood of a powerful dragon."
-Permanently increases physical abilities, mana capacity, and mana heart pumping speed by 50%. Has a chance to trigger other positive effects due to being very well made.
"Great job, miss." Henry gave her a five Kevus bill and walked out of the store. He was finally done with his shopping. However, he still had one more thing to do.
He now to the military base, right into Commander Burlam's office. When he saw Henry, Burlam seemed rather sad.
"Hellwalker. I'm sorry to hear about what happened. I understand you must've been too depressed to come to training, which is why I didn't send you a summons."
"Ah, Commander, that's not the case. I'm fine."
"Hmm? Why haven't you been coming to training then?"
"I've been training with the church's Demon Hunter Corps ever since that day. I awakened a unique energy that's toxic to demons, and they kidnapped my daughter. I'm planning to head into Hell and save her. I only came here to formally quit."
Burlam was rather shocked.
"A unique energy, eh? Damn, couldn't you have awakened that when you were still in the army? Would've helped out a lot." He put on a slight smile and told a joke. Both him and Henry laughed for a while. That's when he put his hand on Henry's shoulder.
"Seriously, though. Hell is no easy place. I can sense you've become a Knight now that I look, but don't let that get to your head. I really wish we could come with you and help, but the war is fast approaching. Ah, I could give you the manual for the advanced military techniques. It might get me in trouble, but whatever."
"No need, Commander. I already got an advanced sword technique."
"I see...Good luck, Hellwalker. Come visit whenever you come back to the overworld. I'll treat you to a drink, non-alcoholic, I know you don't like alcohol. Also, whenever you need food and stuff, come here. I'll get it for you at much cheaper prices."
"Sure, Commander. I promise."
"Farewell."
Henry went home. He immediately drank the potion.
You have drunk the Peak Grade Dragonking potion.
-All physical abilities such as strength, durability, regeneration and speed have increased by 50%.
-You mana capacity has increased by 50%.
-Mana heart pumping speed has increased by 50%.
-You now need 50% less sleep each day.
-Your mental abilities increase by 25%.
Henry felt his body boil, and his mana started flailing around in his mana veins. After a while, the strange symptoms stopped, and he could feel all the changes the system was talking about.
"Alright, let's do the 10000 slashes and go to sleep."
After doing the 10000 slashes quest, Henry went to bed, both excited and a little scared of what's coming tomorrow.
'Tomorrow, I'm going to Hell. Heh, sounds like I'm swearing at myself. Seriously though, my true quest and to save Ella and avenge Mirna starts tomorrow, this was all just a prologue. Ella, wait for me. I swear I'll come for you as soon as I can.'
Henry kept thinking about what's to come until he gave in to sleep.
