Henry had an idea when the system told him his Demon Slaying Energy would move faster now.

He flew through the air much faster than Hera could react, and with one slash, he stabbed her right in the stomach, creating a gaping stab wound. He then pulled out his sword and sheathed it as Hera collapsed to the ground. Immediately, Captain Eve healed her with Holy Energy, then declared Henry as winner. Throughout this battle, Henry had acquired 300 Sword Mastery Exp, putting him at 1360/1500.

"Your win, Hellwalker. Old man Jun sure wasn't lying when he said this was a top tier sword technique. It even had an effect on your aura, which means the aura circulation method it used was very special."

"Yes! However, the aura circulation method for this form is nothing special. It's just moving all your aura to the place you need force in currently." Henry sat down to rest after this intense battle.

Eve brought them one of those potions and Henry downed it. He then activated Mind's Eye and watched as Hera put her hand on his shoulder for a while, then pulled away.

'She must've put the mana.'

Henry focused on his mana circulatory system. He saw his jade green Demon Slaying Energy, and the foreign blue lightning mana. He started using the Eastern Qi Absorption method to absorb it slowly.

You have begun absorbing a large amount of lightning shaped mana into your Demon Slaying Energy. For the next 24 hours, you must maintain concentration and a stable rate of absorption. Failure will result in severe damage or destruction of the mana circulatory system.

And so, Henry maintained concentration easily for first three hours where the potion was active, only looking at the timer every once in a while.

However, the potion started losing effect, and he regained his senses gradually, pain being the last one. He was surprised by the sudden pain, causing him to scream.

He tried to maintain concentration while the pain affected him.
