A month has passed since the mission that Haruka-senpai and I went through. The culture festival is inching quite close.

I was at a cafe with Haruka-Senpai. We just finished this week’s classes and I asked her out if we could go study and have lunch together at the nearby StoreBucks before the weekends.

The moment we arrived, I couldn't help but immediately find a table and immediately collapse my head.

“Yuuki-Kun, are you okay?” asked Haruka-senpai who was likely standing up next to me.

“Yeah I'm alright… let me rest for a few minutes then let's order and study…” I explained in a muffled tone.

“I see, But did something happen that got you that tired?” Senpai tried to raise my head to see if I had a fever.

“It's fine, don't worry, it's just that During Gym class earlier, I unfortunately got the misfortune of being chosen as Kana's gym partner and it did not go well for me at all.”

I vividly remember everytime Kana and I got partnered up, it ended with absolute exhaustion.

I didn't even have the energy to be shy or embarrassed about showing this side of myself to Senpai due to the fact that Kana has also dragged both Senko and Haruka-Senpai along on her exhausting training regime from time to time.

And it's not like we could even say no and reject her invitation because before we can even start thinking about answering, Kana is somehow fast enough and strong enough to immediately get us, along with all of her dozens upon dozens of heavy training equipment, and change our clothes without even noticing it and bring us all to the spot we will be exercising at in less time it took to blink, it's like she transcends the concept of speed or something.

“It was that bad huh? Well Kana-chan does have a tendency to over exert herself until she's physically immobilized.” Haruka-Senpai patted my head.

“Yeah, everytime my class and her class join the gym, I usually get chosen to partner up with Kana, I think it's because I was probably the only one who could keep up with her routine.”

“Yuuki-kun doesn't seem to see the bright side of becoming Kana-chan’s gym dummy”

“In what regard could there even be a bright side?” I raised my head a bit.

“Well due to Kana-chan's training regime making her extra strong and fit, That same results could also apply to Yuuki-Kun’s appearance, who knows if you two train enough times, Yuuki-Kun might become muscular enough to attract the girl he likes before Yuuki-Kun even makes a move himself.” Senpai crossed her arms and explained it like she has never been on the receiving end of Kana's routine.

If you really thought about it, Kana being so strong made no sense at all, By throwing a temper tantrum not only has she caused the sidewalk to crack, but she also shook the entire city from each of her individual stomping, she was strong enough to carry Senko, Haruka and Myself along with all our belongings during a hiking trip as if she was only carrying a few leaves on her, and Her scariest performance was her winning again her entire martial arts class in one go, she was the only girl in that class and she effortlessly immobilized and overpowered all the other students there and she just came out of it rather sweaty… and stinky.

And Knowing how rough she gets when exercising, I'm sure if I even landed a punch on her she would just say that my punches only tickled like a tiny feather.

Ugh, just thinking about being part of her routine makes my everything sore…

“Don't count on it.” I groaned before resting my head back down.

Hold on… now that she mentioned it, I wonder how she would react if I actually started training enough times with Kana to be fit and muscular, would she be attracted? Nah, Senpai's not the shallow type.

“Well that's Yuuki-Kun's decision, Shall I go order the usual for Yuuki-Kun then?”

I just nodded and gave a thumbs up, not bothering to look up, I was that tired.

“Alright I'll be right back with our order.”

“Thanks for waiting,” Haruka-Senpai placed a couple of drinks and food on the table.

I rubbed my eyes before Finally looking up at the drinks She ordered. It was a dark Caramel Macchiato for me, and a matcha latte for herself, as for lunch, she got a Tuna Melt for herself and a patty melt for myself .

“Thanks for the meal, How much do I owe you?” I took my wallet out of my bag.

“Ah, There's no need for that, today's lunch is on me.” Senpai rejected my proposition.

“Senpai.”

“Yes?”

“We both know, I'm not letting you treat me to a free lunch.” I replied before taking a sip from my macchiato.

“Come On, Yuuki-Kun is already too tired today, What's a free lunch gonna hurt?” Insisted Haruka-Senpai.

“Your wallet.” I retorted

“Nonsense, My allowance is this weekend, don't worry, today's lunch is on me.” Haruka-Senpai sat across from my seat.

Arguing with Haruka-Senpai would probably take hours, I really didn't have the energy to have an argument, I might as well accept it right.

“Alright, I'll just treat you next time then.”

“That's fine by me!” Senpai winked.

After we finished our lunches, we began studying together for the upcoming exam for what seemed like 2-3 hours.

“Haruka-Senpai, are you available to play Kyoryu online later?” I asked while packing up my belongings.

“Well, I'd love to join you, however Mizuki-chan and Ayaka-san invited me to join them in buying a new dress for the culture festival.” Haruka-senpai had finished packing up.

“That's understandable, Maybe I'll ask Hikari-san to join.” I also finished packing up.

“Understandable, tell her I said hi!”

“Mhm”

We left the Cafe and I walked Haruka-Senpai to the train station before heading home by myself.

Opening the front door, I noticed that Akane’s shoes were not present.

“Is she not home?”

Entering the living room I saw a note:.

Auntie said she will be out on a business trip to Okinawa for a week, I myself will be spending a week at a friend's house. Please keep the house clean while we're away hehe, and the kitchen is stocked with groceries.

Deciding to freshen up, I left my bag inside my room and took a shower, then changed to comfortable clothes.

“I guess I'm alone for a week.”

I brought my VR headset and console to the living room and connected it to the television.

“What if I call someone over? Nah, that would be too messy to plan out.”

Scrolling through my phone's contacts I decided to give Hikari a phone call, during the month after we finished our mission, Hikari exchanged contacts with Haruka-Senpai and I, eventually planning to introduce her to Kana and Senko

“Moshi Moshi Yuu-san?” Hikari’s voice was pleasantly cheerful

“Yeah it's mee, are you available to play Kyoryu online today?”

“Ah, I'm currently streaming the game right now hehe!”

“Wait, so how are you on a phone call right now?”

“The latest update allowed you to link your line account and have phone calls in the game.”

“Ah that's fair, well do you mind if I Join you later? I want to introduce you to a friend.”

“Ooo~ a friend of Yuu-san eh? Hehe~ I humbly accept your proposal, so what time do we play together?”

“Maybe after your stream, in a few hours maybe?”

After hanging up I decided to give Kana a phone call.

“Yuuki!” Kana screamed through the Phone.

“Yes it's me, are you and Senko available to play Kyoryu online today?”

“YES I AM!! It's been ages since we started playing!” Shouted Kana in an extremely happy tone.

“How about your brother?”

“No! He isn't allowed! I refuse to play with him!”

I guess I better introduce Hikari to Senko another time.

“Well call me in a few hours, then let's play.”

“Okie dokie!”

Finishing the phone call I prepared myself for a lengthy play session.
