Before the three of us decided to go get some ice cream, I was about to swap back into my clothes from earlier however both girls made me buy every clothes they made me try on!

They said and I quote: “Yuu-kun would make such a very pretty girl! Kyaaaa~!!!!” just what kind of magic white powder were they snorting!? But I guess the plus side is I now have a bunch of extra clothes to plop inside my wardrobe!

We arrived at Powder-Snow, a well known Ice cream store, and now it's time to fulfill my promise of treating both Kana and Hikari-san to ice cream…

“Alright what do you guys want to order?” I took my wallet out, dreading what the dynamic duo of chaos would demand I buy…

“Ooo~ I want an extra large cone of charcoal dusted french vanilla with extra cherries!” Hikari-san confidently asked.

“Uh huh… and you?” I looked at Kana.

“Hm… lemme see~~~~ I want the uhhh~~~~!!!” Kana acted like a child who had no clue what she wanted to get at the store.

“Let me guess, it's the Banana split sundae with extra chocolate drizzle and banana slices?”

“What the- AM I THAT PREDICTABLE!?” Kana started hitting my arm rapidly.

“Yes you are, now hurry up or I won't buy you anything.” I stood there taking all her hits which stung more than any Utahraptor claw swipe, albertosaurus headbutt or allosaurus bites I felt in Kyoryu Online!

“Fine then! I'll get the extra extra extra large mint-chocolate with extra strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, cherries, along with chocolate coated bananas with extra nuts on top!!!” Kana angrily shook my collar.

“Alright fine, as for myself, I guess I'll go get a medium sized bubblegum and cotton candy flavored ice cream sandwich but the bread is replaced with chicken fillet, drizzled with honey and coated in matcha powder-” as I thought about the flavor I want, I noticed that Kana and Hikari-san are looking at me like I was about to go commit a massive war crime against all ice cream in the history of ice cream existence! “Don't you two judge me.” I said before heading to order our stuff.

I headed to the counter to get our orders and I was right! The price for the individual orders were insane! Hikari-san’s order was ¥3,082, Kana's was ¥6,140 yen, while mine was 3,390 yen totaling to a ridiculous: ¥12,612! Sigh…. Goodbye allowance… sob… sob…

After getting our orders, I returned looking for Kana and Hikari-san who were outside the store sitting at a bench.

“I'm back.” I grunted while handing over their orders.

“No way you actually ordered that war crime!” Kana shouted.

“Will you cut me some slack!? Your order took up half of my allowance!” I retorted before taking a bite of my ice cream chicken sandwich.

“Both of you stop fighting! We're here to have fun!” Hikari-san demanded just before she started eating her order.

“She's right… I'm sorry for getting mad.” I ruffled Kana's hair.

“Hehehe~ it's alright, I'm sorry for calling out your awful taste in ice cream.”

Kana and I just silently smiled at each other before we also started enjoying our own orders.

What was a sight to see was just how adorable it was seeing Kana and Hikari-san enjoying their ice cream together, and sharing it with each other.

Maybe it's moments like this that should show you who're the people that are truly your friends… when you just enjoy food with them even after a small argument or the little things of just having fun with each other's company… that's how I know I'm lucky to have great friends like Senko, Kana Hikari-san and Haruka-senpai.

After finishing our ice cream snacks we headed around the mall, and started walking around almost aimlessly just enjoying the stalls and stores.

A particular store that seems to have caught their gaze is a costume store, which they dragged me inside where the two started picking out Halloween costumes even though Halloween was a few months away, Kana bought herself a bumblebee costume with a prominent antennae and wings, meanwhile Hikari-san bought a magician costume complete with a magic wand, a top hat and deck of cards!

The next stop we went to was back at the clothing store this time for Hikari-san and Kana's outfits for the Culture festival, a yukata was definitely important for the festival, which I ended up paying for half of their orders… my poor wallet… I will never take you for granted again.

The third stop we headed to was an arcade where the two of them just started playing the dancing game and won over 180,000 tickets… that Kana exchanged for a large teddy bear that's twice my height, while Hikari-san used her share to buy… a pair of dakimakuras of a hot anime guy with red hair and abs and a different dakimakura of an obvious Gyaru-oh. Hikari-san is definitely a fujoshi… as for my share of the tickets I just exchanged half of it for a plush panda bear I plan to give my sister and the other half to a magical girl figurine for Senko as his souvenir.

The next agenda we did was play a shooting game where we took turns shooting at the zombies and enemy militia, the first round was Hikari-san and Myself then Kana and Hikari then Kana and myself. It was a blast as Whenever Kana was playing the other person had to carry her through the game!

The last stop we did was A photo booth where the three of us took a lot of photos together to remember this special trip.

It was like the day ended too soon, we headed back to where we first met up at the start of the day and we waited for Hikari-san to get a cab before walking back to my place.

“Kana, do you believe no matter what happens in life if you got your friends along the way, everything would turn out fine?” I asked as we walked the streets, the sun was about to set.

“Well, I don't necessarily feel that's the case…”

“Is that so? Is it intrusive for me to ask?”

“Not at all, Yuuki is Kana's beat friend, so Yuuki has the privilege of knowing.”

“I see… thank you.”

“You see… Yuuki…” When Kana explained her answer to me, it made sense, it opened my eyes to see a side of her I didn't necessarily seen a lot… is that why she carries a happy-go-lucky attitude all the time? Maybe that was a question I wouldn't want answered.

Arriving back at my home I opened the door and greeted Senko who was still asleep on the sofa.

“We're back…” I placed a small box at the coffee table in front of Senko, it was his souvenir, and dinner.

Before Splitting ways with Hikari-san, We ended up buying our dinner at the Hasegawa-Rodriguez Cocina, it was a place around the food court area of the department store, and a friend of ours works there so I pulled some favors in order to get a discount on our dinner.

“Yuuki~~~ Kana is gonna go take her bath first…” Kana tiredly slumped over the recliner.

“Don't worry, you can go first… I don't plan to leave any time soon.” I sat next to her and patted her head.
