Episode X Round 1: Howling Flash Vs. Crux Force

The tension in the air was palpable as the stadium erupted with cheers and clapping from the crowd. The announcer's voice boomed through the loudspeakers, hyping up the audience for the first round of the tournament.

"Ladies and gentlemen, let us welcome our first contestants: the Howling Flash!" The announcer's words were met with a deafening silence from the spectators. A lone voice piped up from the crowd, "But they're just first years!"

"And?" barked the announcer, silencing any further protests. "And now, their opponents for this round: the Crux Force!" As soon as their names were announced, the crowd erupted into a cacophony of noise and excitement.

The two teams stood across from each other in the center of the ring, eyeing each other warily. On one side stood Felix and Lionel, both brimming with confidence despite being only first years. On the other side stood Deval Orsmby and Mochni Lopez, seasoned fighters with fierce determination in their eyes.

"Let's show these rookies what real skill looks like," said Deval to Mochni with a smirk.

Mochni laughed in response, his muscular frame flexing under his yellow GI adorned with rainbow crystals and an eagle print on the back. Next to him, Deval sported a gray GI with a black belt and a mongoose logo on the back. His thick dreadlocked hair and brown eyes gave off an intimidating aura.

Felix and Lionel bowed respectfully to their opponents before getting into their stances. The announcer's voice filled the stadium once again. "Fighters, show honor to your opponents by bowing before we begin."

All four competitors bowed their heads and got ready for battle. "Begin!" shouted the announcer.

Mochni wasted no time charging at Lionel, landing a brutal blow to his face that sent him flying towards the edge of the ring. Felix rushed to his partner's side, concerned for his well-being.

Meanwhile, Deval had taken advantage of the chaos and swept Felix's legs out from under him, following it up with a kick to the stomach that sent Felix crashing to the ground. "Ouch!" cried Felix as he clutched his stomach.

Lionel finally managed to get back up, determined not to let his team down. "Lucky shot," he sneered at Mochni.

"Ha! You think you have what it takes?" taunted Mochni as he easily dodged Lionel's attacks.

But Lionel was not one to give up easily. He jumped into the air, delivering powerful kicks to Mochni's head and stomach before attempting to push him away with his palms. However, Mochni was too strong and grabbed Lionel by his GI, throwing him across the ring like a ragdoll.

As Lionel flew through the air, Mochni caught up with him and clotheslined him, causing him to twirl before slamming onto the ground. The crowd roared with excitement as they watched the intense battle unfold.

Meanwhile, Deval had also gotten the upper hand on Felix again. With lightning-fast reflexes, he dodged all of Felix's punches before catching one of them in mid-air and twisting Felix's arm. As Felix spun like a top, Deval landed a devastating kick to his stomach, sending him flying back several feet.

The audience was on their feet now, cheering and screaming for their favorite team. But Mochni and Deval were unfazed. "These guys are weak," said Deval with a smirk. "We're clearly on a higher level than them.""Yeah," agreed Mochni. "Too bad they won't be making it to the next round." He flexed his muscles proudly as the crowd erupted into a frenzy.

Their fists collided in the center of the ring, a loud thud echoing through the arena as they pumped each other up. But there was no time for celebration as they both turned to face their opponents, Lionel and Felix, at the edge of the ring. In a synchronized move, they charged towards them, ready to toss them out simultaneously. But Lionel wasn't going down without a fight. He squirmed and kicked, catching Deval off guard and causing him to lose his grip on Felix who fell precariously close to the edge.

"Watch it, knucklehead!" Deval shouted at Mochni, rolling his eyes at his partner's mistake. The crowd gasped in shock as Lionel rose to his feet and drew a line with his foot in front of him, preparing for the ultimate showdown.

Mochni and Deval exchanged a determined look before charging full speed at Lionel. But just as they got within striking distance, Lionel ducked under their punches and landed two powerful blows to their faces. Unfazed, he then delivered swift kicks to their stomachs that sent them reeling back.

Determined not to let Lionel have the upper hand, Mochni declared his special move: Starlight Crash. His arm began pulsating with rainbow colors as he charged straight towards Lionel. Desperate for backup, Lionel looked over at Felix who had just regained consciousness. With a desperate look in his eyes, he tried to intercept Mochni's attack only to be stopped by Deval's soccer kick to his stomach.

"Not on my watch," Deval sneered as Felix was sent flying into the air, defying gravity thanks to his spirit guardian. Taking advantage of this opportunity, Deval used his gravity powers to punch Felix back down to the ground with brutal force.

Meanwhile, Lionel managed to roll out of Mochni's attack just in time. Breathing heavily, he saw this as his chance to strike. With determination in his eyes, he slid on his belly like a penguin to gain speed before leaping into the air and declaring his own special move: Neon Flash. A bright pink light flashed behind him, blinding Mochni.

"I can't see!" Mochni screamed, frantically trying to defend himself against Lionel's punches and kicks. But it was no use as Lionel landed one final blow that sent Mochni hurtling towards the edge of the ring. Just as he was about to go overboard, Deval reached out and backhanded Lionel, sending him flying across the stage once again.

But this time, Lionel recovered quickly and Felix was already back on his feet, howling at the moon above. His white Gi torn to shreds and his eyes glowing with power, Felix stared down his opponents with a newfound intensity. In unison with a deep, otherworldly voice, they declared their ultimate move: Moon Typhoon.

As their eyes locked onto their opponents, Deval couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. "Where is he getting this power from?" he asked Mochni.

"I don't know," Mochni replied with equal confusion.

Meanwhile, in the shadows of the arena, Lucas and Vincent watched in awe as Felix tapped into a seemingly endless source of power. "We need to find a way to block the moon from him," Lucas said to Vincent.

"Agreed," Vincent responded stoically. "But we must act quickly before it's too late." In determination, they crossed their arms and closed their eyes, preparing for what could be their toughest battle yet.

Back to the intense match. As Lionel and Felix strategized, a mischievous twinkle sparked in Lionel's eye. "I got an idea," he said slyly. Without hesitation, he leapt over Felix while he was charging his powerful moon typhoon attack. In a swift motion, Lionel executed a fake neon flash towards their opponents, Deval and Mochni. "Quick, look away!" shouted Deval as they fell for the distraction and let their guard down. Suddenly, Felix's hand jolted back into position before thrusting forward with a massive white-blueish ball of energy that emitted a deafening scream, "HAAAAAA!" The small orb rapidly expanded into a dazzling sphere that engulfed both Deval and Mochni, sending them flying off the arena platform and landing harshly on the grass below. "How is this possible?" gasped both of them in disbelief as their eyes turned white. The crowd was silent with confusion before erupting into cheers for Felix's incredible display of power. His eyes returned to their normal color as he exclaimed to Lionel, "we did it!" But Lionel's expression remained stern as he replied, "I know we did, but you still need to control your power better." He then carried Felix off the stage as the announcer declared the match over. "What an extraordinary and unpredictable match that was," exclaimed the announcer. "We will now take a short intermission to repair the damage done to the ring before proceeding with the second match of this thrilling tournament."
