E137-Splash

*Splash*...Apolo opened his eyes with confusion and gazed at the sun in the clear sky. He touched his face, realizing that someone had just thrown a bucket of water at him to wake him up.

—...—Apolo wanted to shout angrily at the person who had thrown the bucket of water, but he immediately stopped because he had no idea who this person was. However, the gold ring on his hand spoke for itself and was screaming at him that what he was seeing made no sense.

—Wake up, uncle! The siege is almost a day away, and the best way to end it as quickly as possible is to reach the castle before nightfall—shouted the young man with the bucket in his hand. He couldn't have been more than 25 years old, with red hair, a short and neatly trimmed red beard. He was wearing leather armor filled with dagger sheaths. However, what caught Apolo's attention the most was the gold ring on the young man's hand: it was the family ring!

—Ha, ha, ha, why would you want the journey to end so quickly? Wars are meant to be enjoyed, and even if we arrive before nightfall, you'll have to wait for me to get the siege situation report—Apolo laughed unconsciously, feeling the uncomfortable sensation that his mouth was opening and speaking on its own. Immediately after, Apolo realized that he had just lost control of his own body, and it began to rise from the ground against his will.

Without understanding what was happening, Apolo tried to free himself from this annoying situation and regain control of his body. However, all Apolo managed to do was exit the stomach of the person he seemed to be in. Strangely, Apolo noticed that even though he had exited this person's body, the man remained unharmed and seemed unaware of the fact that a young man over two meters tall had emerged from his stomach. The person in question was a completely naked man with black hair and black eyes. He easily stood at a height of 6 meters and was nearly three times larger than the young redhead. What was most unsettling for Apolo was that this person also had his family's gold ring on his hand, and yet he didn't recognize him.

With so many questions swirling in his mind at this moment, Apolo tried to speak to ask these people who they were. Given the size of the giant man in front of him, Apolo had no doubt that he was truly a member of his family. However, he couldn't understand why he didn't remember him:

—Who are you? Where are we? Are you ancestors who came to greet me?

However, the giant man and the redhead seemed to ignore Apolo, causing him to speak louder:

—Hello! I'm Apolo, also from the Black Forest!

But the two people continued to ignore him and instead appeared more focused on searching for the giant's armor.

Baffled by the situation, Apolo realized that the two people in front of him were talking, yet he couldn't hear what they were saying. Realizing that this was a problem, Apolo tried to stop the redhead to see if he also couldn't hear what he was saying. However, when Apolo touched the redhead, his hand passed through his body as if it were air.

Skeptical about what had just happened, Apolo looked at his hands and realized that they were somewhat transparent.

—Oh... I must be dead... It seems these people are the children or grandchildren of one of my brothers in the future, and I am their ancestor...—Apolo murmured, not at all angry about the situation he had ended up in and partially understanding the situation; he understood why he couldn't interact with these people.

Trying to better understand the situation of his two descendants and why they had summoned him, Apolo looked for a way to hear what his descendants were saying again. After trying in many ways without success, Apolo remembered that he had stopped hearing these people when he left the giant. Therefore, he tried to re-enter the giant to see if they could hear what they were saying.

As he passed completely through the giant's body, Apolo once again lost control of his body, but instantly, he felt the world around him regain its sounds.

—Where the hell did you leave your axe?—the red-haired man asked angrily, annoyed by having to help the naked giant due to his drunken carelessness.

—I don't know, the damn axe isn't responding when I call it! Why the hell don't you ask your pet to find it?—the giant replied, scratching his head, which made Apolo feel a bit uncomfortable as he watched his mouth move on its own.

The young red-haired man clicked his teeth as if the giant's proposal annoyed him and said:

—First, it's not my pet, second, it's not my problem that you drank so much last night that you lost your axe, third, it's your problem that your axe got mad at you, and it's not like I can hear it to help you find it... if it even talks, which I doubt.

—Do you think my axe doesn't talk to me because it's mad at me?—the giant asked, looking worried.

—Of course, if I'm already mad at you, why wouldn't your axe be?—the young red-haired man asked with a disgusted look, trying to move a few steps away from the giant to avoid the smell of alcohol that came from his mouth as he spoke—Did you at least find your armor?

—No, that doesn't matter. I want my axe back, Tea! Come on, tell your pet to find it. No matter how hard I try, I can't remember where I left my weapon...—said the giant, looking around anxiously, but even with his height, all he could see were bushes and trees everywhere.

—What a miserable drunk...—Tea cursed out loud, as he approached one of the nearby trees. Tea took out one of the daggers from his armor and began drawing a door on the tree's bark. When he finished drawing it, he reached out his hand to the bark and touched the door.

*Tock, Tock*...

—Who is it?—someone asked with a very sweet and childlike voice from the other side of the door, surprising Apolo.

—It's me, who else? Does anyone else have your contract?—Tea asked, massaging his forehead in frustration.

—Tea?—came the response from the other side of the door.

—Yes, it's Tea, come out, I need you, Isis...—Tea murmured wearily.

Immediately, the door drawn on the bark opened as if it were real, revealing a miniature girl with green hair and red eyes on the other side. What was most striking was that the girl had two butterfly wings on her back. Otherwise, the creature was wearing a very cute green dress made of grass and was completely barefoot, although a bit of grass wrapped around her feet.

—What happened, Tea? Is your uncle leading you down the wrong path again?—the girl asked, flying up to perch on Tea's shoulder and swinging her legs back and forth playfully. Apolo looked at the creature in amazement, examining his descendant from head to toe. He knew that was the innate ability of the people from White Town, but apparently, this descendant had inherited it from one of his parents, which was quite rare to see. Normally, members with innate abilities from noble families never had children outside the family, so it could only happen that the boy inherited the ability from one of his parents, even if the parent couldn't use the ability themselves, making it a very rare occurrence. Furthermore, in general, only one bloodline ability was inherited, but based on the gold ring on his hand and the size of his body, Apolo could tell that the red-haired man had inherited his family's ability in addition to the one from White Town. Otherwise, if he had the White Town ability and not the Colossus ability, the redhead should have been raised by the people of White Town, so he couldn't be with an uncle who was 6 meters tall in the middle of an adventure in the forest.

—Maybe you could say that, although this time we're far from the castle. Could you ask the trees where my uncle Cristobal's axe is?—Tea asked.

—Hmm, I don't know, that's not a very friendly question for the trees...—Isis replied, shaking her head from side to side in a childlike manner.

—Listen, little mascot: either you find my axe, or I'll come back with an army and set the entire forest on fire!—Cristobal shouted so loudly that the girl flew off her nephew's shoulder.

—Don't shout at Isis, or you'll make things more complicated...—Tea muttered in a low voice as he rubbed his ears in pain, feeling like he had almost gone deaf from the loud shout. Unfortunately, the girl didn't return to the redhead's shoulder and instead flew back to her hiding place, closing the bark door behind her.
