E131- End

With the slowness of a tortoise, Apolo leaned on his staff as he illuminated the lonely hallways of the mansion with a faint flame emitted from the top of his hand, which held the staff. The hallways indeed had crystals that could be used to light them, but since this was his last walk, and it was very special to Apolo, the young man preferred to illuminate them with the warm and gentle light of his own magic.

As he walked through the wooden hallways, Apolo took the trouble to look at every door he passed and tried to remember what he had stored inside. Unfortunately, many rooms had already been forgotten by the young man, but some rooms, in particular, had taken so much effort that he could never erase them from his memory.

After walking, contemplating the fruit of his effort with a slight smile, Apolo finally noticed the door to the room he had been searching for. To his surprise, however, he found that, in addition to the cold wooden planks, someone was waiting at the door of the room.

—How did this end up here?—Apolo muttered, seeing a doll dressed as a princess leaning against the door of the room he wanted to enter: it was none other than Princess Lorena!

With slow movements, the young man left his staff against the wall, bent down, and picked up the princess, wondering if any of the Gururis had been instructed to bring the doll here. However, as soon as Apolo grabbed the doll, he felt something unusual to the touch. He turned the doll over and realized that the entire back of it was burned, and the charred fabric felt warm, as if it had happened just a few minutes ago.

—It seems the Gururis weren't very kind to you...—Apolo murmured ironically, not dwelling too much on the matter, thinking that it was most likely that the Gururis had left the doll in this place as a farewell gift.

The young man stopped inspecting the doll and, placing Princess Lorena against one of the walls next to the door, Apolo took his faithful staff and opened the door to the room he had been searching for.

Upon opening the door, it was revealed that the room in question was a vast bathroom, or at least the more than 8 bathtubs in the room indicated that. The room was bursting with objects and decorations commonly seen in bathrooms. However, there was not a single toilet anywhere, so it seemed that it was only a room used for bathing or showering. Nevertheless, the amount of dust in some of these bathtubs suggested that the room had been set up but never used by Apolo or the servants.

Slowly, Apolo entered the room and closed the door. He then approached the gigantic bathtub located right in the middle of the room and calmly touched one of the three crystals on the surface of the bathtub while saying:

—Fill the bathtub with hot water: almost boiling.

Immediately, the crystal began to glow with an intense red color, and hot water began to flow from it to fill the bathtub, causing the water to take on a somewhat brownish color due to the dust in the dirty bathtub. However, this did not last long, as cleverly, the dirty water was absorbed by one of the crystals in the bathtub until the water inside had a crystal-clear appearance, and the bathtub began to fill normally.

Apolo did not get into this bathtub and instead went through all the other bathtubs in the room, giving exactly the same command; the young man had always liked the sound of falling water, so he wanted to fill the room with it.

As the bathtubs filled and steam began to fill the room, Apolo opened the metal box he had brought from his bedroom, revealing a few scented candles and a syringe with a liquid similar to blood inside. The young man took the candles and lit them around the room until it was illuminated with them, and the flame in his hand was no longer needed.

With all the preparations made, Apolo removed the clothes he was wearing, undressing completely, and then took the syringe he had left in the silver box. Slowly and in silence, the young man pricked his neck with the syringe and began to pour the blood into his body, showing that it was not simple blood but was filled with tiny, fuzzy balls of blue color. These little balls were actually the same fungus that carried the blue plague in its most developed state, meaning that these colorful and tiny balls were the main cause of the epidemic threatening the lives of the residents of the Ring City.

After injecting the mushrooms directly into his bloodstream, Apolo felt no pain and calmly walked to the bathtub and got in. Feeling the warm water comforting him as the bathtub filled, the young man took a towel near the bathtub and used it as a pillow to rest his head. With great relaxation, Apolo closed his eyes and enjoyed the ambiance he had created, trying to sleep, knowing that when he woke up, he would be greeting the people he had been saying goodbye to as he grew up.
