IAM THE MENTOR OF SPIDER-MAN
Glimpse of the future

Glimpse of the future

Timeline: 2001

In a cozy room adorned with colorful superhero posters and stuffed toys, little Marsel Rose Wilson, age five, sat on the floor, her eyes wide with excitement. She was surrounded by Peter Parker and Miles Morales, who were sharing stories about her father, Michael Wilson, the legendary Spider-Man.

"Peter,Peter, what happened next? What did my father do next?" she asked, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.

Peter Parker, now in his early 20s and looking every bit the seasoned hero he was, chuckled as he ruffled Marsel's hair affectionately. "Hold on a second, Mars. I'll tell you everything about your dad. He was an incredible man, just like you little one."

Marsel's eyes sparkled as she leaned closer. "I can't wait!"

Peter's expression grew nostalgic, a tinge of sadness crossing his face as he thought of Michael Wilson. Miles Morales, sitting beside Peter, noticed the shift in Peter's mood and looked at him with concern.

Miles noticed Peter's sudden sadness. "Peter..." he began, his voice laced with concern.

Marsel's innocent murmur cut through the room, her tears beginning to flow as she said, "I hope Dad is here." Her small frame shook with the effort of holding back her sobs.

Peter quickly moved to comfort her, wrapping her in a gentle hug. "It's okay, Mars. It will be okay. I believe your dad will be back one day."

Marsel, her cheeks wet with tears, nodded and wiped her eyes with the back of her hand. "I have to be brave and strong for my mama." she said, trying to muster a smile through her sniffles.

Miles, feeling a pang of sympathy, reached out to help Marsel, gently wiping her nose with a tissue.

Peter looked at Miles and then back at Marsel, his voice soft but encouraging. "Yeah that rights... You know you're just like him.... You're just like your father."

Marsel's face lit up with a hopeful smile. "Really?"

Peter nodded, his eyes twinkling with warmth. "Absolutely. You're a little bit like both your mom and dad, but you've got his spirit. You're kind and strong, and I know one day you'll be just as amazing as he was."

Marsel's face brightened into a hopeful smile. "Hehehe, I'm going to become an even greater superhero than my dad!"

Peter smiled warmly, his heart full of pride and encouragement. "I know you will, Mars. You've got the spirit of a true hero."

Miles, watching the heartfelt exchange, leaned in and said, "Pete, why are you so sure that Mr. Michael will come back?"

Peter gazed thoughtfully into the distance, his face reflecting a deep sense of certainty. "Well, I just know it. And also... because he's Michael Wilson."

Turning back to Marsel and Miles, Peter added with a reassuring smile, "He's the legendary Spider-Man, and he's also my mentor. There's a reason we all believe in him."

Marsel's eyes, though still filled with a hint of sadness, shone with a renewed sense of hope. Her small hands clenched into tiny fists of determination. "I'm going to be a superhero, just like my dad." she declared.

Peter smiled warmly, his heart full of pride and encouragement. "I know you will, Mars. You've got the spirit of a true hero."

As the room fell into a gentle silence, filled with the soft hum of Peter's words and the warmth of shared hope, Marsel clung to the hope of her father's return, her young heart filled with a mixture of sadness and determination. Peter's confidence and Miles's supportive presence offered her a glimmer of reassurance, even in the face of uncertainty.
