IAM THE MENTOR OF SPIDER-MAN
Chapter 26 School Arc (10)

Chapter 26 School Arc (10)

Inside the room, after barely escaping the terrorists, Mark and Chris helped Teacher Dan sit in a chair. He looked tired and hurt. Emily, Mark's girlfriend, hurried to help too, her hands shaking with relief.

As Teacher Dan took in the sight of his students safe and sound, a sense of profound relief washed over him. A small smile tugged at the corners of his lips, and he uttered softly, "Now that I know they're alright, I can rest in peace."

"Teacher Dan," Mark said, said urgently, shaking him gently. But to their dismay, Teacher Dan didn't respond to his words. Mark's heart sank as he realized Teacher Dan wasn't waking up.

With trembling hands, Mark gently placed his head on Teacher Dan's bloodied chest, ignoring the stains as his thoughts consumed him. "No, no, no, no, please don't die on us," Mark pleaded desperately, his voice filled with anguish.

But despite Mark's desperate pleas, Teacher Dan remained still and silent. His chest no longer rose and fell with breath, and the warmth of life had vanished from his body. Tears streamed down Mark's face as he came to accept the painful truth: Teacher Dan had passed away.

Chris could barely find the words to speak. "What happened?" he asked, his voice cracking with emotion.

Mark struggled to compose himself, his own tears flowing freely. "(Hick) Teacher Dan... he ... (hick) he died," Mark managed to choke out between sobs.

Emily's hands flew to her mouth in shock, her eyes wide with disbelief. "No..." she whispered, her voice barely audible over the sound of their collective sorrow. "He can't be... he can't be gone..."

Chris shook his head in denial, unable to accept the truth. "But he was just... he was just here," he murmured, his voice trembling with grief. "He can't leave us like this..."

As the students absorbed the harsh truth of their loss, the room fell into a heavy silence, broken only by the soft sounds of their muffled cries. Each student grappled with their own emotions, trying to accept the sudden absence left by their dear teacher. It was a moment of profound sadness, shared by all, as they navigated the painful reality of his absence.

(Suddenly someone appeared in front of them saying)

"What's going on?" Spiderman's voice trembled with emotion as he appeared suddenly in front of the classroom. "Why.... why is he... gone?"

(Before this Incident)

There they are, but wait, who's that?" Then, a chilling thought struck me, "No, this chi, he is dying. No, I can't sense the chi anymore. No, someone died!" My heart felt heavy as I realized someone had lost their life.

As I swung through the foggy air, my mind raced with worry. The weakening chi I had sensed earlier before had disappeared completely, and it hit me hard – someone had died. It felt like a heavy weight in my stomach, making me feel sick inside.

Frantically, I called out to the AI system for assistance. "System, can you identify the man who died?" I asked, my voice urgent as I continued to swing through the air.

"Sorry, host," the AI system replied, its tone apologetic. "If you can't sense his chi, then I can't check his status anymore, host."

I gritted my teeth in frustration, knowing that without the AI's help, identifying the victim would be much more difficult. But I couldn't let that affect me.

As I swung through the thick fog, I felt a heavy weight of worry in my chest. "Please be okay, everyone," I murmured quietly, barely hearing my own voice over the wind rushing past me.

As I arrived, I saw everyone crying. Mark, Chris, Emily, and the rest of the students were all bunched together, tears streaming down their faces. And there, lying still on the ground, was our math teacher, Teacher Dan. But something was off – I couldn't feel his chi anymore. Thats when I realized He was gone.

My heart clenched with anguish as I approached, my mind filled with confusion. "What's going on?" I asked softly, my voice trembling with emotion. "Why... why is he... gone?"

I felt like crying, but I stopped myself. I had to be strong for my friends and classmates. I couldn't let them know my true identity, not now, not like this. So, I stood there, silently mourning the loss of Teacher Dan. He was an important person in our community.

Mark's voice trembled with emotion as he spoke, "Spider-Man, have you seen a boy with yellow hair, styled like curtains?"

When Mark asked about the kid with yellow hair, I felt guilty. I couldn't tell him I was that kid, Michael Wilson. So, I made up a story, saying the boy was safe in the classroom.

"Don't worry," I comforted Mark, trying to sound calm. "The boy with the yellow hair is okay. He told me to come find you all." Even though it wasn't true, I said it to make Mark and the others feel better. They were all really sad about what happened.

Mark, who was tall lanky and looked like he was about to cry, dropped to the floor. His glasses got all foggy from the tears. "Thanks, Spider-Man," he said, barely able to talk because he was crying so much.

In the sad moment, Emily Hawkins was there too. She's the girl with green hair and bright blue eyes. Usually, she's happy, but today, she looked really sad. Her hair was all curly and fell around her face, which was wet with tears. She listened to us talking, looking both sad and grateful to me at the same time.

And there was Chris Hilton, his thin body tense with feelings, his messy black hair a bit wet from tears he had let out back then. He tried hard not to show how sad he felt, keeping his lips tight together as he fought to hold back his emotions.

Mark said, with desperation in his voice, he pleaded, "Please, Spider-Man, you have to save Teacher Thomas. He's facing off against the guy who killed Teacher Dan."

Chris suddenly interjected, his eyes serious with a hint of tears. "Spider-Man, make him pay for what he's done," he urged, his voice filled with determination.

"I will," I assured him, my own resolve firm. With a determined nod, I added, "I'll make sure of it."

Trying to find them using my chi senses, I swung through the fog to where they were.

"System, can you show me their status?" I inquired, hoping for some insight into the enemy's abilities.

The AI system responded promptly, displaying Jord Hos's formidable attributes and skills, including his enhanced strength and endurance due to vibranium.

But it wasn't enough. I needed more power to stand a chance against Jord Hos.

As I swung through the hallways, I silently requested to the System, "Can you convert my shop points into experience points?"

As I pleaded with the System to convert my shop points into experience points, a sinking feeling settled in my chest as it denied my request. " I'm sorry, host. The Spider-Man System lacks that capability. It's impossible." the system replied, its mechanical tone only adding to my frustration.

My heart sank even further as I realized that it's impossible. "But I need those points," I protested, my voice tinged with desperation. "I need them to level up, to be stronger..."

"However, Host, you do have the choice to utilize your shop points to borrow experience points," the AI system explained.

I responded, "So, by 'borrow,' you mean it's temporary?"

"Yes, Host. You can obtain experience points temporarily by using your shop points," the AI system clarified.

The idea interested me, but when I heard how much it would cost, It make me shock "How much do I need to spend to borrow 200 experience points?" I asked, hoping it wouldn't be too expensive.

The AI system said, "Host, you need 1 million shop points."

The system's answer hit me like a ton of bricks, making me realize just how much it would cost.

"Why is it so expensive?" I blurted out, my frustration boiling up inside me. "I don't have enough money for that..." I lamented in my thoughts, feeling the weight of my financial limitations pressing down on me. It felt like a huge roadblock, keeping me from getting stronger.

Ai System: "It's attributes after all, host, but don't worry. It's your first time doing it. You have a free trial, host. You can borrow up to 400 experience points no charged."

Feeling more determined than ever, I decided to go for it. "I'll take it" I said in my thoughts, getting ready for whatever challenges came next. "I gotta get stronger, no matter what." murmured silently

In a bold move, I decided to boost my own attributes, channeling experience points into my strength and endurance to match Jord Hos's formidable capabilities. With the borrowed attributes I was ready to face him head-on.

"System, add 130 experience points to my strength, and another 220 to my endurance," I commanded, feeling the surge of power coursing through my veins. "Then, allocate the remaining points to my reflexes." Then I whispered, "Status," checking to see how strong I'd become. Here's what it showed:

With my attributes enhanced, I felt ready to face Jord Hos, confident in my ability to match his strength and endurance.

"Now I can fight him, even with his vibranium," I declared, determination burning bright within me. "As long as I have my endurance at 80 and my agility and reflexes to evade his attacks, I can win."

As I prepared for the confrontation, a mix of emotions swirled within me – determination, and a strong resolve to protect my friends and defeat the enemy that threatening the lives of people.

Meanwhile

In a quick motion, Thomas Halloway reached for a smoke bomb from his utility belt. With practiced ease, he tossed it to the ground, instantly shrouding the area in a thick cloud of obscuring fog. The dense smoke enveloped the space, making it difficult for anyone to see or move with clarity.

Men, shoot anywhere! Shoot!" Jord's command echoed through the smoke-filled room as his henchmen scrambled to follow orders, their guns shoots blindly into the dense fog.

Taking advantage of the chaos, Thomas swiftly pulled out his gun and aimed with precision. He squeezed the trigger, firing three shots at the henchmen. Two of them fell instantly, while the third cried out in pain, holding his injured arm tightly.

"Tsk, I missed. It seems like my age is affecting me," Thomas muttered to himself as he quickly assessed the situation. Checking his gun, he realized it was out of ammo. "Out of bullets," he thought, feeling a sense of urgency.

Thankfully, Thomas quickly grabbed another gun from his belt. He checked the ammo and saw only 13 bullets left. Time was running out.

Thomas Halloway quickly assessed the situation, knowing that time was of the essence. With only 13 bullets left in his second gun, he needed to make each shot count. His years of experience as The Angel had honed his ability to adapt and think strategically in times of crisis.

As Thomas kept fighting, his gun skills were impressive. He aimed carefully and shot down his enemies, one after the other. Even though his body was getting old and tired, he didn't miss a beat. He took out seven of them with his bullets, hitting each target perfectly. With his last shot, he got the one he'd missed before, bringing down a total of ten of Jord's henchmen.

Suddenly his old body complained with every step, he couldn't help but lament his lost youth. "Shit, my legs are aching... If only I were in my prime, I could defeat these young ones," he muttered through gritted teeth, showing how frustrated he felt.

Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his leg as a bullet hit him, causing him to stumble and clutch at the wound. "Aargh!" he grunted, feeling the agony spreading through his body as he fell to the ground, injured and vulnerable.

As the smoke began to dissipate, revealing the scene before him, Thomas found himself face to face with Jord, the mastermind behind the chaos. Jord's smirk but instead of feeling scared, Thomas felt even more determined to stop him.

"You really are a pain in the ass," Jord sneered, his voice filled with anger. "You killed 10 of my henchmen, and now I've only got 10 left. This is it for you, old man."

Just as Jord was about to land his final punch, his henchmen were suddenly pulled away one by one by something they couldn't see. Thomas was amazed and confused as he saw them collapse to the ground, knocked out.

"What's going on?" Jord blurted out, his face twisted in confusion as he struggled to understand what had just happened. Looking around, he saw his henchmen lying on the ground, knocked out cold. It happened so fast, and he couldn't comprehend how they were taken down so easily.

Then, as Thomas was pulled away from the situation he was in by an unseen force, he caught sight of a familiar emblem on the vigilante's back – a spider logo. its dark blue shape standing out against the vigilante's black outfit. Thomas suddenly understood who this mysterious figure was.

"You... you're the new vigilante in this city," Thomas exclaimed, his voice filled with surprise as he looked at the masked figure standing before him. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Feeling a blend of respect and memories flooding back. This meeting brought back memories of his own days as a vigilante known as The Angel, fighting for what was right in the city. Then Thomas found himself at a loss for words as he realized he was face to face with the New Famous Vigilante Called Spider-Man.
