Chapter 33 School Aftermath (1)

Location: New York, Midtown High School

Timeline: August 26, 1947

[Before Spider Man Leave Thomas Halloway and other Students]

As Captain Edward Wilson and Kevin Bridget walked through the damaged halls of Midtown High School, they felt really worried about the students and their families. Five other officers were with them, and three officers stayed to watch the criminals. They were ready to take the criminals back to the police cars once everything was safe.

With cautious yet determined steps, they finally arrived at a section of the school where they spotted a group of students and teachers huddled together, their faces reflecting a mix of relief and exhaustion. In the midst of them stood Olivia Bridget and Ken Bridget, visibly shaken but thankfully unharmed.

"Olivia, Ken!" Kevin called out, his voice filled with relief and emotion. Olivia and Ken looked up, their eyes widening with surprise and gratitude as they saw Kevin approaching.

"Dad!" Ken cried out, running to hug his father tightly, his voice filled with emotion. Kevin held his son close, feeling a wave of relief wash over him as he saw his family safe and unharmed.

Olivia stepped forward, crying tears of relief as she hugged her husband and son tightly. She was thankful beyond words that they were all safe and together amidst the chaos.

"Is everyone alright?" Kevin asked, looking at all the students and teachers gathered there, worry written all over his face.

As the group talked about what happened, Ken felt scared and relieved at the same time. He couldn't sit still, and his eyes kept moving, like he was searching for the right words to explain what they went through.

"It was... it was really scary," Ken began, his voice trembling slightly. "There was this guy, a bald man, he was... he was huge, like, really big, and he had this... this scary look in his eyes."

Olivia squeezed Ken's hand, offering him silent support as he continued to speak.

"I... I tried to fight him off," Ken admitted, his voice growing quieter. "But he was too strong, and I thought... I thought I was gonna... gonna die."

"But then, Spider-Man came out of nowhere," Ken continued, his eyes shining with awe and gratitude. "He... he saved me, Dad. He saved all of us."

Tears welled up in Olivia's eyes as she pulled Ken into a tight embrace, overcome with emotion at the thought of how close they had come to losing him.

Kevin's throat tightened with emotion as he wrapped his arms around both Ken and Olivia, holding them close. "I'm so proud of you, Ken," he whispered, his voice thick with tears. "You're a brave kid."

Ken buried his face in his dad's chest, feeling a rush of relief and gratitude wash over him. "Thanks, Dad," he murmured, his voice choked with emotion. "And... and thank you, Spider-Man. I... I owe you my life."He expressed his gratitude to Spider-Man, even though the hero wasn't present.

Captain Edward listened quietly, his heart heavy with the knowledge of how close they had all come to tragedy. "We're lucky to have Spider-Man watching over us," he said softly, his voice filled with gratitude. "He's a true hero, a new beacon of hope for our city."

"Let's go now. Save the tears for later," then he said, his voice carrying a note of determination. "We have to rescue other students and teachers. Every second counts." With that, he led the group forward, their determination growing stronger as they focused on aiding those still at danger.

Mark Fletcher, Chris Hilton, Emily Hawkins left their classmates behind, who were hiding because they were searching for Michael, unaware that he was Spider-Man.

As Mark, Emily, and Chris walked through the dark halls of the school, they felt really worried. Mark, who usually joked around a lot, suddenly felt very scared. He couldn't stop thinking about his best friend Michael. The events at the school had left him feeling scared and anxious. The loss of their teacher, Dan, added to his heavy heart. Instead of his usual cheerful demeanor, Mark's eyes now held a sadness as he struggled with the worry of Michael's safety.

"Guys, I can't help feeling like something's really off," Mark said, worry. "Michael wouldn't just vanish like this for no reason."

Emily put her hand on Mark's, her bright blue eyes showing how worried she was. "I know, Mark," she said softly, her voice trembling slightly. "But we gotta think positive. Michael's gonna be okay. We'll find him, I swear."

Chris, who usually has a serious attitude, nodded seriously. "Mark, Emily's correct," he said calmly but with understanding. "We'll look everywhere in this school until we find him. Michael's our friend, and we won't stop until we find him."

Despite trying hard to be brave, Mark felt like crying as he struggled with the fear of not knowing what happened to Michael. "I just can't stand the idea of something bad happening to him," he said, his voice shaking with emotion. "He's not just a friend, he's like a brother to me."

Emily hugged Mark tightly, tears shimmering in her eyes as she felt his pain. "Don't worry, Mark," she said softly but firmly. "We'll keep looking for him. We won't stop until we find him, no matter what."

With new determination, Mark, Emily, and Chris kept going, their friendship pushing them ahead as they promised to keep looking for their friend Michael, no matter what.

[After Spider-Man defeated Jord Hos and left]

Teacher Thomas Halloway (Former Vigilante known as "The Angel"), Brad Larson, Gall Morson, and Dale Dallas and other students are helping students and teachers by giving them the health potions Spider-Man provided. They're going around the school, finding people who are hurt and giving them the potions to help them feel better.

As Teacher Thomas Halloway and the students hurried to help the injured teachers and students, they felt better each time someone drank the potion.

"Take this, Mrs. Jordan. It's like a magical drink that'll make you feel better," Brad Larson said kindly, handing over a small bottle filled with a glowing liquid to one of the hurt teachers. Despite his reputation as a bit of a troublemaker, Brad showed kindness, especially towards his teachers.

Mrs. Jordan, who looked like she was hurting a lot, stared at the potion with doubt. "What's this? Can it really make me feel better?" she asked, sounding unsure.

"It's a health potion from Spider-Man. Trust me, it'll make you feel a lot better," Gall Morson chimed in, his voice filled with reassurance as he handed her the vial. He'd already seen how well it worked on himself and others he helped, and so he was confident it would work wonders for Mrs. Jordan too.

Then With hesitant but hopeful expressions, the injured teachers and students Also accepted the potions, drinking them cautiously but with a hopeful belief that they would help.

Teacher Thomas Halloway felt relieved as he saw the injured people start to feel better. "See? I told you it would help," he said with a smile, feeling even more confident in Spider-Man's potion. Even though he was 69 years old and had wrinkles around his eyes, he still moved with confidence, just like when he was a vigilante.

Teacher Thomas Halloway's instincts sharpened, His old vigilante instincts kicked in as he heard footsteps getting closer. He quickly signaled for the students and teachers to hide behind him. "Stay behind me," he whispered urgently, his voice showing the authority he once had as a city protector.

As Teacher Thomas Halloway sensed something moving nearby, he quickly stepped in front of the group of students and teachers for protection. He reached for his gun (2 bullets left), he used when he was fighting Jord Hos back then. He got ready to defend them, looking around carefully in the dimly lit hallway for any danger.

In the intense moment that followed, Teacher Thomas and the unfamiliar figures stood facing each other, their guns pointing at one another.

Suddenly, the tension was broken as the newcomers revealed themselves to be police officers, their uniforms a stark contrast to the darkness of the hallway. Among them stood Olivia and Ken Bridget, familiar faces that brought a sense of relief to Teacher Thomas and the others.

As Teacher Thomas recognized the newcomers, he slowly lowered his gun. a sense of relief washing over him as he realized that help had arrived.

At the same time, Captain Edward Wilson and his team also realized that the group in front of them were civilians. They figured this out by looking at the uniforms worn by the students and teachers standing behind Thomas Halloway. With a nod to show they understood, Captain Wilson put down his weapon. The tension in the air started to fade as both groups realized they were allies.

As Captain Wilson looked at the old man, he felt both respect and caution. The determination in the old man's eyes showed that he had been through a lot in his life. It was like his eyes were quietly telling the story of all the challenges he had overcome.

"This old man, he is strong," Captain Wilson thought to himself, his mind racing with possibilities. There was something about the way the man carried himself, a sense of quiet authority that demanded respect. Despite the appearance, Captain Wilson couldn't shake the feeling that there was more to this Old man than met the eye.

Captain Wilson reminded himself to closely watch the old man. He wasn't sure what secrets the man might be keeping or what part he might have in this events.

With that, the two groups of people teamed up. They combined their efforts and people to help those who were hurt and make sure everyone still stuck in the school was safe. Working together made them feel like they were all in it together, and it gave them hope, showing that when people work together, they can get through tough times.
