Kael entered his room and walked towards the bed. Once he reached it, he slowly lay down and relaxed, closing his eyes while taking deep breaths.
He didn't know how much time had passed. He was in a deep slumber...
Suddenly, he felt very cold, as if he were sleeping under a central AC, like he was hugging an ice block.
“So cold…” Kael murmured, slowly opening his eyes.
A young lady was in his arms, staring back at him. “Oh brother, you have finally woken up,” exclaimed the young lady with a gloomy look on her face.
“Fuck… Fuck… Fuck… You scared the shit out of me,” Kael cursed with an annoyed look on his face.
“Oh, sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. When I tried to wake you up, you held my hand and pulled me into the bed, and I ended up in your embrace,” said the young lady with an innocent look on her face.
Suddenly, he remembered bits of what he did in his sleep and looked away from her with an embarrassed look on his face.
“Okay, why are you here? What are you doing in my room? How did you get in?” Kael didn't give any gaps and kept bombarding her with questions.
“I have my own ways. I helped you before, so this time I'm here to ask you for some help in return,” said the young lady with a stern gaze.
“I'm not an ungrateful bastard. I will help you, whatever it takes. Just tell me what kind of help you need,” said Kael with a frown on his face.
“My parents are forced to labor in a mine filled with toxicities. I don't know how many more days they can survive. Please save them from that mine,” said the young lady with a sad look on her face.
“Okay, where's that mine?” asked Kael.
“It's in the New Dawn colony’s territory,” said the young lady.
“Do you know who owns that mine?” asked Kael with a stern gaze.
“It’s the Miller family. They own the majority of mines in the New Dawn colony's territory, and my parents are forced to work in one of their mines,” said the young lady while clenching her fist tightly.
The moment she said those words, the room temperature completely dropped and Kael's body started to shiver. “Okay, sister… No… Big sister, can you please control your power? It's getting so cold in the room.”

“Ha? Oh, sorry.” She immediately relaxed her fist and retrieved the coldness back to her body. Kael released a relieved sigh.
“Okay, leave it to me. I will save your parents,” said Kael with a reassuring look on his face.
She stepped out of the bed, moved close to the window, and opened it. Then she turned to look at Kael and said, “Thanks,” before she jumped out of the window.
“What the fuck?” Kael hurriedly moved close to the window and peeked outside. There was no young lady; he looked around but didn't catch a glimpse of her.
He was on the third floor; there was no way someone who jumped from this height would land safely. Even variants with powers would be injured unless they had flying abilities. “Does she have a flying ability?” Kael murmured with a thoughtful look on his face.
“Oh, now I remember I have to meet Charlotte, right? I'll meet her first before I go to New Dawn colony to rescue her parents,” Kael thought for a moment before leaving his room.
But he never thought that the moment he stepped out of the room, he would be attacked by the melons of four young ladies.
“Boss Kael, are you okay? We heard that the enemy used firearms and even used electricity to electrocute you,” asked all the young ladies in unison.
Kids covered their mouths, trying hard not to laugh loudly. Even Siri was stifling her smile. Kael glared at the kids and teenagers, then reached out to gently pat their backs and said with an awkward smile, “I'm okay. You can see I'm standing right in front of you, fit and healthy.”
“Hmm,” all the young ladies nodded and moved away from him.
“Okay, I have a few matters to deal with. Here are enough rations. I will be back in a few days,” said Kael. He summoned a few boxes of bread packs and instant noodles, then walked towards the entrance of the building. Soon he reached the entrance and stepped outside.
Since zombies were endless, he could farm thousands of points every time he roamed outside. After farming for a few hours, he went towards the Vulture Claws shelter.
He was stopped at the entrance of the Vulture Claws shelter by the guards. Kael furrowed his brows and looked at their faces. They were new; since they had never seen him and didn’t know him, he relaxed and said, “Brother, I'm here to meet your boss. We have a deal. I'm just here to take back my goods.”
“Deal? Goods? Shoo, go away. We are not informed of anyone's arrival for their goods,” said one of the guards sarcastically.
Kael took a deep breath and said, “Why don't you go and ask your boss? I'm sure she will give you permission to let me inside your shelter.”
“Hmph, Vulture Claws shelter boss? That voluptuous bitch serving my boss isn’t free to entertain any more guests. Go away or get some holes in your body,” the guards said, pointing their guns at him with fierce glares.
“Hmm, okay. I actually tried my best to be nice. I’ll take care of you two first, and then your boss. He dared to have ideas about those sexy sisters… ahem, beautiful sisters. System, add two points to agility and one point to strength,” said Kael with a ruthless glint in his eyes.
[Two points added to agility and one point added to strength… 150 points are deducted.]
Kael felt a soothing sensation in his body and closed his eyes to enjoy the feeling. When he opened his eyes, he was in front of one of the guards, and another guard's head was in his hand.
