Experiencing what it feels like to be a sandwich

"System, what are these things?" asked Kael, his face wearing a stern gaze.

"[Subspecies of zombies, these creatures are called 'Night Walkers.' They can't survive during the daytime; they hide in the earth and come out at night to search for food.]"

"Oh, damn it, there are even subspecies of zombies?" Kael was annoyed to learn about the existence of zombie subspecies.

"Rita, Sita, wake up, it's jogging time," shouted Kael.

Two young ladies pushed aside the front cover and stepped out of the camp. They then raised their heads to look at the sky. "Yawn... Why do we have to go jogging at a time like this?"

"If you don't go jogging now, you'll become food for these Night Walkers," said Kael, piercing his hand into the earth and pulling out a Night Walker while holding its neck.

"Kyaaa…"

"Grulll…"

He twisted the Night Walker's neck and threw it aside.

Kael reached out to hold both of their waists and carried them in his arms, running at full speed.

After half an hour, Kael finally came to a halt, taking a few mouthfuls of air. He gently released his grip on their waists, allowing their feet to touch the ground. Both of them steadied themselves, finding their balance after being carried in his arms.

"You two look slim, but you sure have a good amount of weight in those very important places," said Kael, wiping the sweat from his forehead.

"Sir, please stop making fun of us," said the young ladies with reddened cheeks.

"Let's sleep in one of those buildings tonight. It's not safe outside, mainly on the ground, at night," said Kael, moving towards the main door of the building.

"Hmm," the young ladies nodded their heads and obediently followed Kael.

They entered inside, and Kael chose a room, cleaning it before going to bed. However, as soon as he closed his eyes, he felt movement on his bed and opened them.

He recoiled when he saw the young ladies moving close to him and laying on either side of him on the bed.

"This..." Kael was left speechless.

"Sir, we're really struggling to sleep. The images of those monsters keep invading our thoughts, disrupting our rest. We're certain that if we could sleep near you, those terrifying thoughts wouldn't trouble us anymore, and we could finally get some good rest," said the young ladies in unison.

Kael shook his head helplessly and closed his eyes to sleep.

The next morning...

With one hand touching Rita's bosom and the other hand touching Sita's crotch, he was taken aback. "It's good they didn't wake up. If they see me putting my hands on their important places, won't my gentleman's persona in their minds be destroyed just like that?" thought Kael, slowly withdrawing his hands from their important places.

Rita and Sita held his hands tightly at their important places. "Shit... shit... shit, what are they doing?"

"Sir, please don't leave us. Those scary monsters will come back again. Please stay with us; we want to sleep," both young ladies murmured in their sleep in unison.

"Damn it, you all just think of me as some bodyguard, nothing else?" Kael cursed inwardly but laid back silently.

After an hour...

Yawn... Yawn...

The two young ladies woke up and slowly sat up on the bed, but their faces turned red the moment they realized Kael's hands were at their most important places.

The young ladies didn't say anything; they silently took his hands away from their important places and stepped out of bed to freshen up.

"Hmm, when I slept, I didn't feel the smoothness in my hands, but I really like the smooth feeling when I touch their important places," Kael murmured while rubbing his hands.

Ahem...

Kael snapped back to reality when he heard the coughing sound.

"Oh, hehe, you two are back. Now I'll go and freshen up," Kael said, embarrassed. With lightning speed, he entered the bathroom and closed the door with a loud bang.

The young ladies covered their mouths to suppress their laughter.

After a few minutes...

He stepped out of the bathroom, and the three of them, one after another, exited the building and continued their journey.

Kael wasn't slacking off; he kept farming points while continuing the journey.

Since there's no end to the points, all three of them enjoyed tasty dishes throughout their journey.

After a few hours of traveling, they stood in front of the huge gate of the "New Dawn Colony."

"Ha... Finally," Kael and the young ladies joined the line to enter inside.

At the entrance, there was a scanner...

(Scanning is completed... No virus is detected)

"You can enter," said the guard, who was wearing tattered clothes and broken glasses on his face, his arms holding a handmade air gun.

"Oh, I'm messed up. System, will it scan for the virus in my body?" asked Kael with an anxious look on his face. He was here to visit, not to fight with the whole colony.

[Host, these are very low-quality scanners. Even if they were high-quality, there's no way they could detect the virus merged with your body. The scanner only detects when there is a virus present in your body.]

"Oh," Kael nodded thoughtfully.

(Scanning is completed... No virus is detected)

"Hey, you're next!" the guard shouted.

"Ah? Oh... yeah," Kael snapped back to his senses and hurriedly stepped into the scanner's range.

(Scanning is completed... No virus is detected)

"You can enter," said the guard, then turned to look at the young ladies behind him. "You're next."

The three of them entered inside and started roaming.

"Oh, these rocks are very shiny," Kael was attracted to a bunch of shiny rocks at the stall and moved closer to take a clear look.

[High-quality minerals are found, and the host triggered a side mission. You have to mine 20 kilograms of a precious metal, and the reward is a full set of armor, depending on the kind of precious metal you mine. No time limit]

"Oh, a full set of armor. Why does it sound so badass?" Kael murmured with a surprised look on his face.
