He immediately summoned the sword and severed the heads of the zombies.
Soon after finishing, he was completely exhausted and fell to the ground.
After a few hours, he slowly regained consciousness and woke up from his unconscious state.
But he was super alert; the moment he opened his eyes, he immediately summoned the sword, held it tightly, and looked around cautiously.
“Hey, little bro, you have finally woken up. Your big sis is so worried about you,” a coquettish voice reached him, and he turned to look in the direction it came from, finding a young lady looking back at him seductively.
“Oh, it's Big Sis Rosa,” Kael moved towards her and jumped at her with a hungry wolf gaze on his face.
She was a level 3 zombie leader, easily stopping him a few inches away from her with her hand.
“Since you are healthy and very energetic, it's time for you to go,” said Rosa, her benevolent elder sister's aura covering her.
“I'm working so hard to get ready for the mission you gave me, how can you heartlessly send me away without giving any reward?” Kael said, feigning a pathetic look on his face.
She reached out her hand to hold his chin and gently pulled his face close to hers, saying, “Hmm, Big Sis will give you a gift.”
“Muah.”
Kael, feeling electricity pass through his body, instinctively reached out his hands to squeeze her perky hips.
This time, it was Rosa’s turn to feel electricity pass through her body.
She moved her hand to slap the back of his hand, leaving red finger marks where she struck.
With a painful cry, he separated his lips from hers. “It hurts, Big Sis. How can I fight zombies with an injured hand? I will stay here and rest in your embrace until it heals,” said Kael, placing his head on her full bosom and then started rubbing his head on them with a blissful smile on his face.
Boom…
He was kicked out of the metro station and crashed onto the ground.
“Ouch… ouch….”
Kael wanted to curse her badly, but given the vast difference in strength between them, he silently walked away with a frustrated look on his face.
The tale has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
Rosa looked at Kael's disappearing back, her lips curled up into a smile.
“You wait for me, I will surely give you back everything tenfold,” Kael cursed inwardly while walking towards his temporary base.
“This zombie control skill really sucks. I have to be careful while using it in the future,” Kael murmured, still feeling a little tired due to the stamina drain in his body.
Since he was not in top condition, it took him a few more minutes than usual to reach the temporary base.
Having cleared all the zombies around that area before, he reached the temporary base without any obstacles.
He reached out his hand to knock on the main door.
There was a young lady guarding the main door, looking outside from the first floor. Kael waved his hand at her with a gentle smile on his face.
The moment she caught sight of Kael, her eyes brightly lit up. She hurriedly came down and opened the main door with a bright smile on her face.
“Sir Variant, welcome home,” said the young lady, brimming with a smile.
“Hmm, thanks,” said Kael as he walked towards the main hall in the building.
The remaining young ladies were sitting in the main hall, chitchatting happily.
But the moment they saw Kael enter the hall, they all hurriedly stood up and greeted him with respectful looks on their faces.
Initially, they had misconceptions about how Kael would treat them. He actually didn't mistreat them at all; he even provided them with precious food that was not available anywhere else in the current apocalyptic world, as if it were nothing. In their minds, "even though he is a ruthless demon to his enemies, he's a pretty cool gentleman to the people around him."
“Thanks, everyone.”
He turned to look around the main hall.
“Shiny, sparkly, you all worked hard. As I promised, I will give you regular packs of instant noodles.” As he finished speaking, he produced four regular packs of instant noodles, which appeared on the tea table.
“Enjoy your meals. I'm tired, so I'm going to take a rest,” Kael stood up and walked towards the bedrooms. He chose one randomly and entered before shutting the door behind him.
Kael walked straight to the bed and lay down. “Even though I like my current life, it's really not easy to live in an apocalyptic world like this. But it keeps getting interesting day after day. Tomorrow, what kind of zombie will I be fighting? I think it's not good to spend all my time with zombies. I'm sure there will be large human gatherings in this region. Tomorrow morning, I will ask the young ladies for details about these human gatherings.”
“I'm more curious to see the interesting things I will find at this human gathering place,” Kael murmured with an excited look on his face.
He doesn't know if it's due to the fiction he read in his past life or just his curiosity, but he wants to see how others survive in this apocalyptic world.

Next morning…
Knock... Knock…
“Sir Variant, good morning,” said the young ladies in unison from outside the door.
“Oh, I feel energetic and it looks like I've restored all my stamina,” Kael murmured while sitting up on the bed.
With a snap, his night dress changed to an apocalyptic-style dress. He opened the door and greeted them back. “Damn it, I'm sure you are waking me up now not because you felt that I overslept, but because you are hungry and want breakfast,” thought Kael, observing the very obedient looks on the young ladies.
Kael freshened up and gave regular packs of instant noodles to them before returning to his room. He brought out roast chicken and started munching on it with a satisfied look on his face.
