I Own An Island In An Apocalyptic World
Did you take my permission to leave?

Did you take my permission to leave?

His eyes were bloodshot, nerves popped up on his forehead and on his hands. He was pissed. Since he wanted to be so cruel, he would show them how cruel he could be.

“I will give you 10 seconds. You all kill yourselves; it's way better than dying by my hands. Listen to my kind words, kill yourselves and have a quick death. If you miss the 10-second count, then death will become a luxury to you all,” said Kael, while looking at Veer and his subordinates with a calm look on his face. But that calmness sent chills running down their spines.

Everyone who listened to his words, their lips twitched. “Kind words, you say?” These words passed through everyone's mind.

“1…2…3…” Veer counted the numbers while looking at Kael with a mocking look on his face.

Kael shook his head and said, “You guys born with a villain mentality will never change until your souls come out of your bodies. Since that's how it works, I will do what I want to do.”

Kael moved towards Veer and his subordinates at lightning speed.

“He is fast,” the variant who was with Veer exclaimed with a shocked look on his face.

Kael appeared beside Veer and extended his hand to grab one of his subordinates. A kitchen knife appeared in his hand. He kept stabbing him until a hornet's nest formed on his body. Veer's subordinate died with an inexplicable look on his face.

Veer, drenched in his subordinate's blood, was dazed on the spot. His other subordinates immediately reacted and pulled Veer away from Kael.

Kael, also drenched in Veer's subordinate’s blood, turned to look at Veer while blood dripped from his chin. He smiled, his blood-drenched face and bare white teeth sending chills down their spines. His appearance was like a demon from hell, a death reaper who came to claim their lives.

Swoosh…

“Protect the young master,” exclaimed the variant, who immediately used his ability to hide in the mist.

Mist slowly spread, but in a matter of seconds, it became thick and completely covered the appearances of Veer and his subordinates.

Kael furrowed his brows and looked around cautiously. “Hehe, do you think you can hide your young master from my eyes using this damn mist? Tsk….tsk…. You're daydreaming.”

“Mini scanner, scan for the life signs which are close to me,” Kael muttered inwardly with his lips curled up.

[6 life signs are found…]

You could be reading stolen content. Head to Royal Road for the genuine story.

“Caught you all,” Kael murmured while looking at the small red dots close to him.

He tightened his grip on the kitchen knife and turned to look at the nearby dot. He moved towards him at full speed, appearing behind him and extending his hand to tap on his shoulder.

Veer's subordinate hurriedly turned his head back to look, but there was no one. He gulped nervously, sweat slowly falling from his forehead. He turned to look forward. This time Kael was standing in front of him with a sinister smile on his face.

Before he could open his mouth to say something, Kael moved and soon came close to that guy. He moved his hand to stab his chest. The knife pierced his heart, and he died on the spot with horror written all over his face. He didn't even have a chance to scream.

Kael moved to the next guy and stabbed him from behind his head. Another one was stabbed between his brows. Another one was stabbed in his neck. One after another died very brutally in Kael's hands.

He looked at the scanner and muttered with an evil smile on his face, “Only you two left.”

Kael appeared in front of the variant and before he could react, he was stabbed multiple times in his vital areas. He lost all strength in his body, staggered back, and fell to the ground on his hips. He slowly raised his head to look at Kael, who was looking back at him with fear-filled eyes.

Since he was distracted and injured heavily, he couldn't continue to keep his ability, causing the mist to disperse and slowly dissipate.

With the mist dissipated, Veer could see everything around him clearly. He was scared shitless after seeing the gore and bloodbath around him, pissing his pants with tears falling from his eyes and snot coming out of his nose.

“Oh, did you just piss in your pants? Damn, I won't make my knife dirty by killing a dead rat like you,” Kael raised his hand and snapped his fingers. Three zombies swarmed on Veer and started biting and tearing the flesh from him.

Now he had equipped the level 2 Zombie leader title. He was strong enough to let everyone see his ability to control the zombies.

Ahh….

Veer's hellish screams reverberated all over the place, sending chills down the spines of everyone there.

Another team of mutants who were watching everything was drenched in cold sweat. “Tapsi, tell me what kind of creature he is?” asked the team leader with a fearful look on his face.

“Ok, team leader.” She looked intensely at Kael, and the color of her eyes slowly changed. But Kael felt an intense gaze on him and turned to look in the direction the mutants were hiding in, aiming his gaze directly at the young lady looking at him.

Kael bared his teeth and smiled at her. She, who saw his smile, shook violently and closed her bloodshot eyes.

“Tell me, hurry, what kind of creature is he?” asked the team leader with an anxious look on his face.

“He…”

“He?”

“He….”

“Come on damn it, tell me already.”

“He is not human…he is not a zombie…he is not a mutant,” she said, taking a gap between each phrase with sweat drops falling from her chin.

The team leader, who listened to her each phrase, widened his eyes and turned to look at Kael, who was looking in their direction with his teeth bared.

“He is dangerous. We are not strong enough to confront him. Fall back. We have to report everything that we witnessed here to the higher-ups,” said the team leader with an anxious look on his face.

“Are you leaving already? Did you take my permission to leave?” An ominous voice reached the mutant team.
