Except for a small bonus with Chi, Serena's stats were quite bad. On the other hand, she had the Cultivator Class. She could become a world class powerhouse with some training.
Lisa took out her Potion-making kit and began working on the new Troll blood Potions, from which we had high hopes to get a decent boost.
'Go, don't distract me with your loud thoughts.' the Captain ordered, so I gestured to Serena to follow and walked out towards Floor 17, still naked.
Mystic followed me, possibly hoping to snack on free crystals, and the cat had a good sense.
A herd of Minotaurs on one side and some Ligerfangs on the other.
"Punch and kicks only." I demanded while pointing the naked Serena at the Ligerfangs.
"Miaw?" the cat asked a bit surprised.
"Not you Mystic. Just cover us." I told the cat who sat on its ass and licked a paw in boredom.
Serena yelled and tried to attack a tiger-man monster, only to miss and fall on her face.
The cat snorted, probably amused. My ghost held the Ligerfang in place until Serena recovered, then released it for a fair fight.
Serena took a nasty claw over her chest, and was thrown back a dozen meters.

I began chanting my heal, and the healing rain repaired her torn skin and muscles to perfection.
"Merchant of Venice, really?" Serena asked as the words struck a bit too close to home. She was a teacher after all.
"The words are just a catalyst. You're faster and stronger than these monsters. Kick their ass!" I urged her while Honing my Spirit Weapon.
Using both Magic and Chi at the same time took a great deal of mental effort, plus I had to keep watch over Serena as to not die by accident.
Her Endurance was pitiful, even with some Potions to increase it.
It took her a while and dozens of injuries until she managed a clean kill, basically a combo kick-punch and chop to the neck.
"Screen" I demanded as she returned to my side and sat down beside Mystic.

"Pretty good. Mystic, you can have those Minotaurs." I said in a light voice, and the cat vanished into a flash of green to dismantle the herd of Minotaurs and gulped their crystals.
Then the cat returned and licked its paws lazily, while glancing at the slow Serena with pity.
Her eyes stared in awe and slight fear at the pet monster, before she turned towards me. "Merde..." she whispered to herself.
I frowned for a second. "A strong Level 9 can kill thousands of Minotaurs in a day. And I know a guy who did that at Level 5. With a magic knife." I said gently, then turned and walked back to Rivera. Bell with D rank stats counted as a Level 5, kinda. And so did I, after a fashion.
Serena stared blankly at the dissolving Minotaurs for a minute, before jumping to her feet and running after me.
Her stomach growled in hunger as we entered the camp, making Lisa smile. "The game rewards us with a ration pack for every thousand monsters we kill."
Serena frowned and went to her duffel bag to extract a few cans of food, then a plate and set up a meal for the three of us.
Red beans and corned beef, nothing fancy but also a decent meal for the Dungeon. I took out a bottle of cognac, and shared it with the ladies as well.
Lisa had made some Potions too, Troll blood giving strength, Boar giving Endurance and Sirens giving Mind. Pretty decent.
"We have an Alchemist in Geneva." Serena spoke softly as she sipped her drink.
Lisa frowned, as she discarded that Class for Transmuteer.
Her telekinesis brought a laptop into her hands. "I see. This woman?" she asked while turning the screen towards Serena. Took her like 10 seconds.
Serena nodded cautiously.
'I think we're taking the Ecole Phenomenale under our wing. We leave in the morning.' Lisa decided after another look at her laptop.
'We risk detection...' I mused softly.
'The Academy can reach Floor 17 easily. If the Goliath is not there, we are detected already. We still have 5 or 6 days.' Lisa explained in a harsher tone.
Well, if the Academy sent their Espers...then yes. Regular monsters would not pose them much troubles.
"What? Is Madame Devoinne so important?" Serena asked out loud, her voice worried.
"Her Class might be. Anyways...you like Pef?" Lisa asked in sudden shift. Her finger also pointed directly at my lower bits.
Serena blinked and blushed as she glanced at my glands for a second. "...He has Chi. Strong Chi as well." she whispered, possibly to herself.
Lisa smiled like a fox, as she set her glass down.
