Despite what I wanted, reaching SSS stats wasn't that easy.
One might even say impossible. S stats remained locked at 999 points for me and only when Lisa crossed into 1001 Endurance another week later, we realized we would need to wear the choker to go past the limits.
On the other hand Floors 15 to 17 had become quite easy, such that I only died as to replenish my magic or something. And Lisa didn't die at all, which was great since she couldn't regenerate. Instead she received Spirit Healing and Strong Defense, one helping with regenerating magic and the other with defense. Or maybe the Falna simply reflected the reality of her over-S-rank Endurance?
So I took back my choker and wailed into a herd of Minotaurs like a whirlwind. Something broke inside me, so I knew I had done it. My limits broke.
Yelling cheerfully I ran towards the exit hours too soon. Which might have pissed off the Dungeon for some reason, as on Floor 12 I encountered my first Dragon.
Obviously, it was only an Infant Dragon but it was still a boss. I jumped and tried to crush it with my Crozzo club but it simply bounced off.
Lisa stopped beside me. "Can't delete my memory..." she warned me and crouched behind her shield, spear at the ready as well.
I stored the useless club and drew out my Spirit Weapon. My first slice was dodged by the crazy dragon, so I extended my reach with Chi and sent the sword flying, taking off the left claw of the dragon.
Score one point for Pef!
Lisa followed up with a psychic blast and a spear thrust, which both bounced off. Dragons be strong and durable. I knew that.
So I formed my Black Ghost and set it onto the Dragon, also hunkering behind my shield.
A weird magic energy covered the Infant Dragon, blocking the ghost and then its tail slammed it apart.
I froze for a second. Magic was so bullshit. Or maybe the Dungeon had figured a counter to my own bullshit. Likely the latter.

Anyways. Infinite Black Matter helped me reform a new Black Ghost, while I readied myself for a tough fight. Then I screamed, paralyzing the Infant Dragon for a second while my sword circled around and sliced off the frozen dragon's tail.
I summoned my club once more and pounced onto the dragon's head, while Lisa kept trying to stab the impervious dragon. And failed.
With a single flick, I unlatched my choker and threw it at her neck. Lisa will need all the anime bullshit to survive the boss, while I could die over and over and be just fine.
Little by little, and scream and slice in pair, we whittled the Infant Dragon down, until Lisa managed a lucky stab directly into the dragon's brain. Neither of us died, although it was close a few times.
"What was that?" she asked in a tired voice.
"The weakest dragon in the Dungeon." I muttered while collecting the precious loot. Dragons did drop nice loot after all.
"We need to get stronger then." Lisa spoke in her Familia Captain voice.
I just nodded and tapped my lips. Some things were better not spoken inside the Dungeon.
Cloaking us inside her Esper field, we ran towards the exit, bypassing screaming bats and armored armadillos, then orcs and imps and all sorts of mobs.
Then as we reached Floor 1 we encountered a rare Jack Bird, so I screamed at it out of habit. The monster fell down and Lisa stabbed it instantly. A golden egg dropped, worth 1 million valis by itself.
I glanced at Lisa with a knowing look. There was money to be made here. Still cloaked from adventurers or weak monsters we roamed the first Floor until we found another rooster monster. So, I screamed at it again. And then sliced it down with my sword. Another guaranteed drop.
Knowing we had left the grind too early, I just shrugged and continued on the hunt. Five hours later, we had obtained 23 golden eggs. Not much experience, but plenty of money.
Then I just pointed towards the exit, maintaining operational security inside the Dungeon. Lisa nodded and grinned at me.
We lowered the helmets faceplates for no reason and went to sell the loot to the Guild, then ran away invisible to most adventurers. Who ever said the first floor wasn't a goldmine? Oh I did.
Well then. I am not that smart.
When Hestia climbed on my naked back to print out my Falna, I had another surprise waiting.

"Sarah killed a dragon today." I countered with a careless voice.
Hestia just embraced me tightly, while Lisa tugged at her choker with a glare towards me.
