Despite what my Falna looked like, I had my actual character screen to gaze at, now that I fought and killed stronger monsters in the Dungeon.
Pef - Level 19
Title: High Commissioner
Strength: 19
Speed: 19
Mind: 2
Magic: 1
Chi: 3
Endurance: 35
Free points: 19
I hummed to myself, while Lisa leaned on my side to stare at my screen as well.
"Those free points, you can use them, right?" she asked a bit curious.
"Of course I could. But I suspect using those points will actually slow me down. I get some growth simply by fighting as I am." I explained, thinking about stronger monsters.
Lisa nodded to herself. "Magic would be useful though."
I sighed inward. My companion was far too smart for her own good.
*Magic +1
I used a free point, just to change something. And it did. Somewhere inside me, a glow began to warm me up.
I grabbed an apple and stored it inside my dimensional inventory. The glow inside grew a tiny bit. As expected, in this world my ability would be considered magic, possibly spatial magic.
I drew out my apple and on the screen the Magic stat grew as well. Well, early points were supposed to grow fast.

"Your fancy energy sword uses Chi, right?" Lisa continued without care.
"It's called a Spirit Weapon. Possibly linked to my soul or some fancy stuff like that." I said with a mild voice.
"Such a cheat! If only we knew what these points actually mean." Lisa commented with a disgusted tone.
I thought for a second or two. "The screen points don't actually matter in this world. Except maybe the Mind. Magic here uses Mind as a resource."
"What? How does that make any sense?" Lisa growled, sounding annoyed.
"Ask Hestia about Mind Down. It's what happens to mages when they cast spells too much." I said with an easy tone, then went to lay down.
Lisa glared at me, then sighed. "I need to find a spell or something."
I closed my eyes instead, and thought about what else I could use. My Ajin body also had that paralyzing scream, and the Black Ghost. They should also count as Magic in this world. Maybe not the scream. Anyways, I would have to test them.
The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
And thus, the third day was spent in the Dungeon, screaming at ants and upgrading Lisa's resistance to my paralysis. Somehow, my scream made her lose the Esper concealment and expose her to the monsters, which then required me to store her inside my inventory until the mobs got killed and it was safe for her to emerge.
This impromptu discovery also provided me with an ambulance ability, should I need to rescue an injured adventurer someday. Or 20 adventurers.
Also an entrap ability, should it work on hostiles. It worked on ants at least.
When we returned to the church and Hestia updated my Falna, she only growled instead of yelling.
Strength - G245 > F303
Endurance - G245 > F303
Dexterity - G245 > F303
Agility - G245 > F303
Magic -I 0 > H 167
Abnormal Resistance - F
"I guess I should dive a bit deeper tomorrow. I barely gained some 50 points today." I muttered a bit displeased at my slow growth.
Then I glanced at Lisa's paper, and she barely broke into H numbers in her Falna stats, only having the same abnormal resistance as myself. Hah! Slowpoke.
"You're thinking Sarah is too slow, right?" Hestia asked in a mild, homely voice.
I nodded earnestly.
"She's actually 10 times faster than a normal human." the Goddess revealed in a casual tone.
Lisa perked up, looking at her Falna sheet a bit more impressed. "Really?"
"And that's without considering your crazy Magic. Only Level 2 adventurers can obtain Magic." Hestia whispered in a confused voice.
"Are there any easy or short cantrips we could use? Spark or Clean, something like that ?" I asked with no ulterior motive.
Hestia almost cried as she realized my purpose. "You want to gain the Mage ability too?"
I nodded slowly, then dragged out a Dungeon ant from my inventory. Hestia froze for a second, her eyes wide with disbelief as a portal entrance appeared around my hand.
I was already strong enough to hold the ant like a kitten. "Blast it, Sarah."
My Esper companion began to glow, and then a psychic blast shattered the monster into tiny shards which vanished like fog, leaving only a tiny crystal on the floor.
"See, my sweet Goddess? Both of us already have some type of magic. It just isn't Grimoire magic, like they use on this world." I continued with a sweet voice.
Hestia just slumped on the bed. "My Familia is so crazy." she muttered in shock.
"We aren't strong yet, Hestia. Zeus and Hera had those Level 8 and 9 adventurers, but they still died inside the Dungeon. Floor 90 is quite bad." I spoke in a soft voice.
Lisa stared at me in surprise, but I just shrugged. Might as well use that out of context knowledge.
Hestia just looked at me with sad eyes. "I don't want my Children to die in that horrible Dungeon."
I nodded firmly. "That's perfectly understandable. But I don't die. As for Sarah...at level 2 she'll be stronger than a normal Level 5. It might take her a month or two to reach that point."
I could feel the Arcanum gathering around Hestia as she stared at me. A God was still a God after all.
"Did you read about me as well, my Child?" she asked me in a strange voice.
"Even saw a statue of you, from the Roman Empire's times. You were well liked on my world, even if called Vesta. Thousands of years ago." I answered in a slight misdirection.
The Goddess just nodded, while Lisa just shook her head. I was not a good liar.
"I only descended here three months ago. My friend...kicked me out and told me to start my own Familia. And then, I bumped right into you." Hestia disclosed in a sad voice.
Hmmm. Bell won't arrive for two or three months in this case. I should reach Level 3 by then.
And then the stupid white rabbit will outpace me even faster, and reach Level 5 before me. Damn cheater!
