Sadly, it took three weeks to max our stats to SSS. Whatever anime bullshit you read or see, it doesn't work!
On the other hand, I did get Healing as Development Ability while Lisa obtained Chain Attack for her spear.
The extra time did allow my Chi to grow to 29 naturally, same as my Magic. Mind remained lagging behind at 11, but then I wasn't using my mind that much.
We also bought a large cake and candles for our ceremony, and then Hestia triggered our Level up.
I didn't feel stronger, but then my stats were back to I0. Only in a higher tier.
On the other hand, the lines on my back grew much longer.
I had Skills now. Not unexpected, but also a bit worrying.

All my abilities were laid bare on the paper, most of them anyways. Falna could read my CYOA abilities and write them out in simple words. Horrible.
Lisa laughed lightly at my face, then frowned as her own abilities were written down as well. Hers were even worse.

"What the Hell? What are those Skills, both of you?" Hestia yelled in outrage.
"The cake is very good." Lisa said as a peace offer, her voice calm and collected.
"We deserve some cake after a month and a half of hard work." I agreed politely and threw the ball of paper into the fireplace.
"Sarah! You're the Captain of my Familia. I trusted you!" Hestia shouted as Lisa threw her paper into fire as well.
"Nothing has changed, my Goddess. Well, except the need to mask our Falna from other Gods. Some of them are still involved with Evilus and that second Dungeon stuff." I spoke in-between bits.
Lisa glared at me for some reason, as if I was at fault for this world being dangerous and fucked up.
Hestia looked into my eyes, her demeanor changed into a proper Divinity. "Evilus! I hoped they were gone."
"Giant conspiracy, involving Gods? I hoped I left such things behind." Lisa complained in a low voice. She got the gist quite fast.
"It is pretty similar with Cauldron trying to field enough troops to kill Scion. Didn't end well for Earth Bet, seas boiled and transmuted into metallic hydrogen, but there's plenty other worlds in the universe. You just got away from seeing your world burn." I hummed in a soft voice, and Lisa paled as she grabbed her temples.
This story originates from a different website. Ensure the author gets the support they deserve by reading it there.
Hestia frowned. "Maybe we can go and help that place, I don't like hearing of children suffering." She proposed in a naive voice.
I sighed inward. Killing Scion wouldn't fix that universe, only unleash the Shards as the new Gods of that place.
"We have a far smaller scope here, trying to advance and dive deeper into the Dungeon. I guess we can go and farm Ligerfangs for excilia. And prepare to kill the Goliath, maybe next month." I mused softly.
Lisa returned, as her headache didn't materialize as she expected. "It's a new world, Sarah! And these evil Gods are not as strong as Scion. Pull yourself together!" she perked herself with a slap.
"I heard that the Boss on Floor 27 is similar to Leviathan though. A water dragon." I added with a tiny smile.
Lisa smiled back, fonder memories flooding back. "My Taylor fought him with butterflies and silk. We have far stronger powers in this place."
"Amphisbaena. It's a Level 6 monster." Hestia said in a warning voice.
"So this Evilus group. They have an agenda?" Lisa asked in Thinker mode.
"Just claiming to be evil. They release monsters from the Dungeon, or experiment inside the Dungeon. I think the Thanatos Familia are now the main culprits." I said with half-remembered memories. Danmachi was a world and years away by now.
Hestia became even colder, her divinity pressing me like a physical force.
Lisa rose and went to hug our Goddess. " I have fought much stronger villains and monsters, without any powers except my mind. I swear to you, my Goddess: whatever these Evilus guys want, I will be able to defeat them. But not by myself, we'll need to gather other heroes."
Watching Lisa re-enter her Combat Thinker persona was amazing. Hestia calmed down slowly, as Lisa patted her back.
"I will need to speak with Freya. Loki as well. They have strong adventurers." Hestia decided in a stern voice.
I nodded gently. "Those experiments have created strange monsters that grow by eating crystals. Sentient monsters that can act like people." I added with a mild voice.
Hestia grabbed her new silk cloak and ran outside, not even waiting for the rest of my news. Oh well. I might have changed some stuff a bit too soon.
"Back to the grind then?" Lisa proposed as she began equipping her armor. I grinned at her.
We were too weak to fight Evilus and such villains, but we will get stronger. And all we had to do was murder innocent beasts inside a deep hole in the ground. Maybe not too innocent.
