Bell

"Isn't this a bit easy?" Lisa asked me in a casual voice, as her spear flashed and stabbed five Ligers in a chain attack.

I just shrugged. Normally people would advance to Level 2 as soon as they could, and then complain Level 2 mobs were too strong. But the level was simply a container to hold their stat points. There was a big difference between 500 points to reach D, and 1000 points of SS. Not to even mention SSS, or possibly SSSR if my memories were right. Probably not.

Acting on a hunch, I stored my adamantite shield and club and recalled the spirit weapon to just hover above me.

And then began punching and kicking the poor Ligerfangs, barely losing any efficiency but possibly gaining even more stats from being unarmed.

Lisa glanced at me and sighed. Then also threw her items at me to get stored.

Killing the poor Level 2s was easy enough anyways.

As we returned 10 hours later and reached Floor 12, a pair of Infant Dragons awaited us with an evil gleam in their monster eyes.

I mean, Dragon parts sold for a great deal, plus they were very useful for item crafting. I just pointed my finger, and my Chi coursed through the sword and sliced off the top of my target's head. Without even opening my game screen, I already knew my Chi had reached 30 points.

As I collected a pair of Dragon scales and its crystal, I turned to watch Lisa punch and wrestle with a Dragon 10 times her size. She made it look easy, but that Infant Dragon was 20 times her mass. At least a ton of muscle and scales. I could do it too, on account of my Hanma Blood, but Lisa didn't have that.

"What are you trying to do?" I asked a bit curious.

"This!" she exclaimed as her psychic powers focused on her knuckles, and her fist punched through the Dragon's head, exploding it like a melon.

Damn anime powers.

On the other hand, our Falna recognized our feats and bestowed upon us new Development Abilities.

Fist Fighter for me, and Supreme Fist for Lisa.

Lisa also got Energy Fist as a Skill, which made no sense. Wasn't that simply an application of her psychokinesis? Oh well.

Stolen novel; please report.

"You got so bored that you fought Level 2 monsters with your bare hands?" Our Goddess asked with a mild voice. She didn't sound surprised though.

"They are quite weak. I was hoping to reach at least G ranks for my stats." I complained after getting over 700 points in a single day, but still only H rank.

"No going for Level 3 monsters until you reach S ranks!" Hestia warned us in a stern voice.

Damn gods and their mind reading powers!

Having bought the church above, as well as the land it sat on, a hundred workers were busy re-building the place, while me and Lisa worked at night to create a deeper basement for labs and forges and other rooms. All that money yearned to be spent, but we also had to use our heads and spend it smartly. Or at least Lisa did. I guess her time with Coil and his underground base had taught her some things.

I closed my eyes when she left in the night for shady deals, because Lisa was Lisa. Only she had more than enough mind powers now, to bend the world to her will.

I just hoped Lisa wouldn't bend my own mind to her will. I wasn't sure if she could, since as my companion Lisa was supposed to care for me, but I was still a bit worried.

As I woke up next morning, I smelled coffee in the kitchen. The stuff was rare and expensive in this world, but we were quite rich by now. And if we ever ran out of money, a day of Floor 1 would grant us 100 million or so, simply from looting defenseless Jack Birds.

I wasn't sure how much a live Jack Bird would sell for, but I did keep a dozen of them in my inventory, should I need to impress a God someday.

And thus, as our stats reached A rank three weeks later, I met a certain white-haired boy, who was begging Hestia to let him join.

Was it a bit early? Who knows. The boy had been roaming Orario while starving for a few weeks in the other timeline.

Then joined a starving Goddess...

"He can join. But no Falna yet." I decided on a whim.

"Eh?" both Hestia and Bell Cranel exclaimed in concert.

"The boy is malnourished and untrained. A Falna will just kill him faster. Maybe even today, if he faints in front of a kobold." I explained in a nicer voice.

Hestia frowned for a second, then nodded. "Come child. Let's get you washed and fed. Pef will make sure you get some equipment and training."

"...I mean. I'll pay you back, I swear!" Bell promised with an eager voice.

Poor rabbit, entering the wolves' den for a candy.

Seeing Hestia dotting over the poor kid, she was like a mother having found her lost child.

"I hope he's a normal kid." Hestia whispered after Bell fell asleep in his own room.

I drew her into my lap, and played with her boobs a little. "He is not. Zeus is his grandfather." I answered in a soft voice, only for her ear.

"Hah! How can that be?" she asked in a surprised voice.

"You get him tomorrow, so make sure to ask everything about his life. Then have him run laps around the church until he faints." I asked my Goddess as I pushed her onto the bed.

"You're going for Level 3 monsters." Hestia deduced with her divine mind.

I just sucked her boobs and pounded her divine pussy harder.

Lisa arrived a bit later and joined us, now also showing a familiar foxy grin. Life in the shadows suited her nicely.

I didn't ask, and she didn't tell, but I suspected a lot of people died that night. It was mostly evil people, so who cares?
