Chapter 32 · Lost
"Again please accepted my deepest apology," he said standing there holding the card to me. I stood there not sure what to do. Zoe had just left me with this guy and my brain was still trying to catch up with what was happening.
"Please miss its the most I can offer if you wish to make a formal complaint you can but she only just got back. Also, it will take up to two weeks to a year to proses so it's more in your benefit," he carried on pushing the card in front of me.
I could make out more details now I looked closer. The card seemed to a silver foil with a purple logo in the corner. The logo looked like a crown of some kind and on the over corner, a golden five hundred seemed to dimly glow.
"O... ok," I whispers taking the little card. I still had no clue what it was.
The man's faces seemed to relax as I took the card.
"Thank you miss, is there anything less you need," he asked stepping back.
I looked behind him to see if I could spot were Zoe had gone but I failed to see her anywhere.
"I um came were with Zoe and I don't really know..." I tried to explain but I felt my mouth almost locking up and my body starts to shake. I hadn't been with a stranger on my own in years and I didn't know what was going on or where I was heading.

I stood there fiddling with my pockets and trying to avoid looking at him. I felt stupid like a lost kid.
"Would you like me to find the lady you were with early," he asked his voice hesitant.
I nodded back. I heard a quiet sigh as he held his hand out.
"If you would please miss. The halls can get quite busy at a time like this." He asked. I slowly reached out a took his hand and then we walked.
Down one corridor then the next, then an another, into a doorway, a new hall, upstairs going on and on. I felt myself get dizzy almost sick and as I tried to focuses on the walls we walked past I felt myself almost get pulled off my feet by the man as he carried on leading me.
We filly stopped outside a plain doorway almost like the ones you would see in hotels. I lean next to it trying to breathe as my vision stopped swimming. I tried to stand when I felt a hand on my shoulder push me back in place against the wall.
"It's best not to try and stand until you are sure you can. Fast travel is never fun to use but it sure does save time," came the voice of the guy again however I was sure I could hear a note of weakness in his voices too. I tried to nod but regretted it quickly. Now I felt even worse.
"This is a private meeting so it's best if you wait here for now. I will ask the lady, is there anything you want me to ask specifically." He asked
"I don't think so," I replied trying my best not to fall over. God, I felt like an idiot for being this way but I couldn't help it I just didn't know much of anything about what was going on.
"I will only be a moment miss," he explained while tapping on the door and sliding in a second later.
