25 - DISAPPOINTING A LADY IN HER HARDSHIP OF CIRCLE

It turned out that having to walk to every single place that you would like to visit, was way more worse than the children had remembered. They knew that it was tiring and boring, but they had totally forgotten about the strain of which it introduced - and the pain it gave them. With soreness aching across their hungry bodies, the children slouched through the woods, following after Witchie, who was mad that they all lost their brooms to the fire.

“Now, if you had been more careful, this wouldn’t have had happened.” she informed them all, as the sleepiness came upon her too. “Now look - we’re all walking!” she then cried, before falling face first and onto the dirty ground which was covered in stones. Immediately after she did so, Ciel did the same, and fell right into the ground. “I’m exhausted!” she complained, “Let’s take a break!”. Meishu sat down next to her on the rocky surfaced earth, and looked down at the watch on his shoulder. Sighing, he then looked up at Witchie, who was still down in the mess. “Look, Witchie,” he started, trying to get her attention - “We’ve been walking until what’s now lunchtime, and we’re all hungry!”. “I know.” said Witchie, whilst getting up herself. “How do you think I feel? I, too, am starving!” she cried, as her stomach grumbled, and she began to tear. Meishu sighed again as he walked over to hug her. “How about this,” he said “We search for some food nearby, and then continue.”. Witchie blinked as Meishu held on to her - “How long do you want this trip to be?” she whined, while still crying. Meishu stopped hugging her. “Well, how long is it now?” he asked, staring right at her.

She looked down at her watch - “Too long!” she screamed, hitting the screen with her fist at the same time. Now, Meishu sighed again - “Stop it!” said Lucette from behind, so he did. “So, Witchie, then what do you expect us to do?”. “Huh.” said Witchie, as she sucked up her tears. In a less babyish voice she then announced - “Well, that was our break, I thus expect us to keep going!”. Ciel shook at the scream. “I don’t even think it’s been a minute since I laid down…” she mumbled, to Witchie, who was now trying to lift her up. “Get up, Ciel.” she said, while being an entirely idiotic companion. Meishu frowned as he looked at them both. “Hey,” he said with a snap of the fingers to go along with it. Witchie dropped Ciel, and looked at Meishu. “Didn’t you say something about a new somewhere back at the cottage?” he asked. Witchie sat down next to out-of-air Ciel. “Yeah, I did - and we need to get there quick!” she said, as Aloevia sat down next to her.

“Where is it?” Aloevia asked with wonder - “None of your business yet. Stop trying to get peaks - we’ll all get to see it!” Witchie shouted back. Meishu retaliated, as he always had an overprotective mindset for silent children such as Cassette and Aloevia - “Witchie, shut up! Why can’t she know where you’re taking her, that’s not on the main pathway?” he screamed. Witchie’s heart skipped a beat as she stood up, and flicked Meishu’s chest. “Watch out Mr. Tough Guy - who’s the one leading you?” she asked with anger. But Meishu was more frustrated - “Look Witchie, you already got us in trouble one time, you don’t need to do it again!” he yelled. At that, Witchie kicked his lower leg. “Me, trouble?” she asked - “If it hadn’t been for Charlotte befriending her little boyfriend knight, we would’ve all been okay.”. Meishu put his hands on Witchie’s shoulders. “First of all, that’s not her boyfriend - and second of all, that was bound to happen, it’s your fault for taking us there in the first place!” he said, as Witchie pushed his hands away. “Don’t touch me!” she said, backing up from him. Then she added more - “And if you don’t want my help, I’ll just leave!”. Meishu approached her again - “Do so, I don’t care at all.” he said. Witchie stood still for a slight second, but then got back into the moment. “Be it then - I don’t know who’ll lead your clueless-self though.” she said, now walking off.

Meishu lifted up his watch which was, as said earlier, finally unlocked after the explosion of the castle. “Did you forget that I had one of these now?” he asked, as Witchie now turned to look at him. Her eyes turned large. “Oh, you do? Then rather than using your lame words, come fight me like a man with your Hikidama!” she bravely shouted. With her words, Meishu felt odd, as he came to the knowledge that he had a watch, but not a Hikidama. “Oh - look, you don’t have one!” Witchie teased, throwing her own up and down in the air, before a grand beast flew overhead, and blew it into the far sky. “Solarack!” she cried as she watched it. Then - coming back, the giant beast landed next to Meishu. Scared, Meishu turned to look at it. “The angel!” he shouted, knowing it from the witch school, and the past update on Kaminari.

“That’s correct, tis I.” said the Seraph angel, now facing Witchie. “As granted by his younger sister - I am his Hikidama partner!” he then said, before turning back into a Hikidama, and landing in Meishu’s hands. “Woah!” said Meishu as he held it, and Witchie ran to get hers. “Fine then Meishu, I guess we can have a Hiidama battle now!” she said, holding her Solarack Hikidama proudly.

“Click, Lock, Engage!” they then both shouted while clicking at their watches. “Hikidama Matrix!” they said next, as the dome appeared over the area. “Gotta go!” cried Aloevia as she ran away - not wanting to be in the direct centre. In that said centre, the arrow of choice now spun, before landing at Witchie.

“Kick start!” she shouted, before she threw out some Akachan to make half of the cross shape. Meishu looked down at the cross shape, and then the single Daichan in his hand. “Stupid Witchie - I have no Akachan to throw out! I haven’t collected any from past battles!” he yelled out, knowing that in battle - you collect the Akachan you knocked out at the end of the game. So, Witchie frowned. “Beginners…” she said to herself, before completing the cross, known as ‘Transire’s Line’.

“There you go, you're welcome!” she yelled before throwing out her Daichan, and missing every Akachan. She grew surprised - “How did I miss that?” she asked herself. Meishu smiled, and held his newly gotten Daichan tightly. Looking down at the vortex, he stared intensely, before throwing out his Daichan with speed. His Daichan managed to roll, and knock out 7 Akachan. “Hey~!” screamed Witchie, trying to grab a hold of herself. “Beginner’s luck.” she excused it off as, before taking her Daichan back - and throwing it faster than Meishu’s. This time, it collided with two Akachan. “That’s an improvement.” said Lune from behind her. Witchie elbowed her - “Zip it.” she said, before Meishu looked at his new Akachan. He felt great just staring at them, and used the hologrammes to identify them all.

The first three Akachan were all yellow puries. A purie was a single-coloured transparent ( see through ) marble, and Meishu found them quite beautiful. After that though, he had an ugly blue commie. Commies were Hikidama that, like puries, consisted of a single colour - but instead of being see through, were not, as they were usually made of clay, unlike the glass puries. “Oof.” he told himself, before searching further.

There were two steelies - with a steely being a marble that appeared to be made out of steel thanks to its usually monochrome colour scheme of black grey and white. But, steelies were not made from steel - however, true steelies were. A true steely was a Hikidama that was actually made of steel, and a pure steely was one that was made completely out of steel, as some true steelies had a bit of other metals in them.

And, as for his last Akachan - it was a snake marble - or a marble, usually blue, but can be other coloured, in appearance with some short lines from place to place - usually yellow.

Hoping that luck was on his side, Meishu threw out one of his two steelies, to reveal the steel beast that was Metalord. Metalord was a giant robotic dinosaur decked from head to toe in metal based technologies - with red glowing eyes to top it off. With strength, he then ran into Witchie’s Solarack, and as he chomped on it with his bar-like jaws, he also shot a red laser into its skin.

Witchie was amazed that Meishu was already having this much success. But, to her brain, she then said - “Not for too long!” as she then shot out a white marble stripped with red on it. This beast was unveiled to be Lepath, a white elephant with red eyes, tusks, and tail.

Lepath lashes out at Metalord, and began to hit him with his tusks - but metalords metal skin was too tough to break through, so he instead fought back, and shot a laser at Lepath - knocking him out, and turning him back into an Akachan. After an Akachan has been used, it gets sent to the opponent, who may not use it until their next battle ( in simpler terms, they cannot use it for this battle, and may only use it for the next, or thereafter ).

When Meishu acquired Lepath, Witchie screamed and fell on her knees. “Fine, you win!” she complained, as she clicked a button on her watch, and the matrix disappeared. Meishu watched it as it did so - “Have I proved my superiority?” he asked as a hologramme appeared on his watch. It read a ranking score - Meishu was apparently 2181st out of 2181. Basically, he was in last place on the universal scale. “Oh come on!” he screamed as he looked at it, and frowned. Witchie finally smiled. “You may have beaten me, though I’m still higher!” she said, now running over and hugging him. Meishu smiled - “Perhaps I’ll get better on this journey.” he said. Witchie got off of him. “One day, I think you’ll reach first place.” she said.

Lucette and Cassette both stood next to each other with upside down smiles. “Yeah, one day.” they both said in unison as the group began to laugh, and together again, walk off.
