Every mother would be upset, I mean, her son had been missing for two months, and the officials told her that he is probably dead, but Hiroki didn't feel like enduring this whole emotional reunion thing.
He had been fighting gross monsters for the past 5 years. While thinking about it, it seemed very strange to him. He had been in another world for 5 years but on earth only 2 months have passed
'Does time not flow the same in the whole universe?'
Well, he didn't really care about it and just forgot about these thoughts shortly after.
Seeing how he just had returned, he planned to enjoy a quiet life on earth and relax. I guess you could say that's what Hiroki earned himself from having saved the other world. Thus, he had absolutely no nerves to let this pathetic and annoying moment go on.
He swung himself out of the bed, approached his mother, told her to calm down and explained her his whole situation, including all the stuff that happened in the other world.
"What are you talking about? Are you an idiot? Did you hit your head? Do you really think someone will believe this?", was the only thing his mother could reply to what she had just heard.
'Well, if it didn't happen to me personally, I also wouldn't believe it.'
Even though he had already assumed that she wouldn't believe him, her response really got on his nerves.
'I mean, he am her son, she should at least try to believe me?'

On his mothers right side, was the father, sleeping while sitting on a chair. Hiroki kicked him in his right foot, waking him up in a shock. He nearly fell off of his chair.
'Oh man, why is a normal office worker so muscular, luckily my stats from that place didn't completely vanish or else I would have broken my leg.'
As he half-screamed: "Wake up old man!", the father finally opened his eyes and was fully conscious. Without saying anything, he went on to touch his parents' foreheads and, using his last bit of magic, he showed them memories of the other world.
After around ten minutes he had shown them the most important memories and his magic was completely used up.
'Dammit, I can't regenerate my mana. But it makes sense, because there doesn't exist the concept of mana and magic on earth. Well, now it's too late anyways.'
"Omg, I can't believe it... it is actually true... you got summoned to a strange world"
"Son, I must say, I am proud of you for being able to survive and come back to us safely!"
These were the honest reactions of his parents.
"Well... it is not like you always had a hard life...I mean you got us a daughter-in-law after all"
Both started grinning at each other.
Hiroki blushed; He didn't want to show them those kinds of memories. Why did this happen…
"Stoop, I didn't want to show you this, forget it, just forget it!!", half-screamed Hiroki as his face turned into a bright red color.
'But I guess with this, every last doubt got cleared.'
The day after that, the local newspaper heard about Hiroki's case and wanted to interview the family, but they declined.
One month later, Hiroki got used to living on earth again, was also about time to start the new school year. He didn't frequent school for 5 whole years (well technically it was only 2 months, but for him it was 5 years) so obviously he had zero motivation to experience this whole stressful procedure, but sadly he had no possibility to dodge it.
On the way to school, he met his best friends: Aiko, his twin brother Eichi and Yasuo.
'I like how relaxing this is, it's so more peaceful than on that planet. I hope this can go on like this forever.'
