CHAPTER 91
THE BACKSTAB
As the cries of Suffering ran wild in the evil monkey village, the high-ranked warrior responsible for safeguarding the outskirts raced to the scene. But what they saw was a gruesome display of slaughter and the culprit was dancing around, avoiding the splattering blood of their fallen kin. Fueled by a raging inferno of vengeance, the high-ranked warriors of the Evil Monkeys let loose thunderous roars, all surrounding Hans and inciting their comrades to rally and muster the courage to fight back but Hans was not one to lose momentum at this point.
There were so many that he did not have to aim the mana path for his SeedBullets, so feeling the rush in the face of danger he unconsciously smiled which gave an ominous feeling to all who surrounded him, including the escorts who stealthily reached his location, eager to jump in to save their prince who looked like in no need of saving.
The game of massacre begins as Hans aimed first at the strongest warrior who was raising the morale, a shoo sound emerged and something entered the warrior with a decisive blow that made him take a few steps back. His pounding became silent as he suppressed the pain, not to let this attack demoralise his kin but the pain was not something to laugh at even for him. He glared at the human child and started conjuring a heavy ice crystal above his head, aiming at the human child, he was a high-rank warrior and the size of his giant conjured crystal was proof of his power.
However, Hans did not hit him with something ordinary, It took him relatively more time than seedBullets to produce a single Mutilate bullet and it was more effective in instilling fear in enemies. As he was waiting for this moment, he shouted,
~ Mutilate ~
The conical crying seed was already inside the warriors and with the time it took Hans to speak the word, it started coming out of the casing, crying like a wraith trying to agonise its enemies. The fine threads shredded the high-rank Evil monkey from inside and the tribe village became silent, only the shrieks of the warrior echoed, instilling fear as Hans wanted
Seeing the horrifying death of their comrade, the shouting ceased but the anger touched the sky and what Hans expected did not happen. The already injured evil monkeys raised themselves in front of their comrades to be the meat shield and started closing into Hans.
Feeling unsatisfied with the response, Hans rained SeedBullets aimlessly but it didn't put a dent in their closing speed, the injured ones took the attack head-on, and even when they were dying they did not stop moving in. Frustrated, Hans said in seriousness,
"My desperation is far greater than yours, you red asses."
Arat ordered the escorts to remain on standby because he could inherently feel the atmosphere around Hans changing, Hans was already on one knee but the look in his eyes was saying everything was under his control. And as the enemy came close, Hans bellowed,
~ One Step ManaStorm ~
The stretched mana swirled around Hans, amassing the vast elastic potential energy. it was not something crazy like he did to Xandor because what he wanted was not to kill but push them back, instilling in their head that he still can handle all of them. He took the first step and with a loud boom, the violent and strained mana went loose, pushing all the marching Evil monkeys back with a torrential force. The attack also inflicted slashing damage as Mana tore their flesh, resulting in many being gravely injured.
Arat and the escorts have already closed in the village and were just a few metres away from Hans when he released that massive amount of mana. honed in sensing the dangerous situation, Arat gave the escorts a signal in advance so they could protect themselves from what was coming, however, they still felt the impact. But It was no hard thing to figure out that after an attack like that, Hans would have been severely exhausted. Arat and some other people knew that the first book was with him but its contents remained a mystery for them so no one knew that there was no limit to Hans’s mana.
The misconception quickly made them engage in a fight to make their way to the centre. The snow that formed the cloud due to impact finally settled but what remained in Hans’s place was just a small black thing, vibrating in its place and a sound came from nowhere like a god declaring a decree to mortals.
~ TheVeganCarnage ~
It felt like the thing heard Hans’s voice and started screaming like a hungry beast forcing Arat's instincts to run at max speed and he instantly ordered his knights and mages to run away from it. The shrieks turned into something and all witnessed an attack far more horrifying than mutilate. Many sharp tentacles sprouted from the tiny seed and started targeting the heads of evil monkeys. It was so swift and deadly that it was hard for a normal person to see.
The evil monkey finally got scared and started running away from the thing. But the attack was true to its name and ran amok killing many until they cleared out from its range. TheVeganCarnage was Hans's ultimate that even Rudolf didn't underestimate but it had a weakness, it was bound to its place and had a definitive range. And when there was no prey left in its range, it calms down and disintegrate and it happened this time too but not before it took several high-ranking Evil Monkeys with it.
The fight commenced between Parvians and Evil Monkeys as the escort started searching for hidden Hans in worry.
DELIMIRA LOCATION
She could inherently hear the screams and cries of the natives, the constant sound of their agony was scaring her more and more. She thought of herself as a strong-minded person but she felt her mental fortitude breaking several times since she came here. Suddenly she felt a small vibration beneath and sensed something fast approaching, she calmed herself, ready to attack at any moment but Hans popped out from the ground. She dispersed the spell in a fluster, almost killing him but relieved she couldn't move fast enough.

Just as she was about to ask something, Hans approached and clasped her firmly. Suddenly, thick vines twisted around them, forming a ball-shaped enclosure. She hesitated before questioning, "What's going on?" but Hans simply instructed her to grip him tightly. Then, a supple yet sturdy vine propelled them towards the south of the native village. As they neared an apparent collision, another vine emerged from the earth, passing them along like a game, transporting them to the next one. This continued until they safely exited the beast zone.
Hans had planned this way before they came here and he separated Delimira with watchful eyes of escort for this purpose too. He had safely hidden a seed of orca vine in Delimira's pocket which was modified for digging purposes and that vine kept digging a tunnel to the centre of the native village. A grin spread across his face as his scheme unfolded flawlessly. He recalled how he intentionally stoked the animosity between the Parvians and Evil Monkeys, allowing him ample time to escape.
EVIL MONKEY VILLAGE
A knight in the escort said in amazement,
"He is more like a miniature Dijkstra than his father."
"You are right about that Pervert"
"Stop calling me that, you bastard - "
"I saw you tucking the prince with the girl yesterday."
"You saw that?"
"Everyone did, you pervert."
"Stop calling me - "
"The prince gave you the name, you should be honoured."
"Honour my ass."
"Then why do you put them in the same bedding?"
"Dunno, I guess, I wanted him to fulfil what his father failed."
Arat did not like what these people were wishing for so he shouted,
"Getting involved with an elf is the last thing I want for him."
"But Prime minister, what if he wanted to?"
"Then there might be another Elven War."
Another knight shouted,
"Stop chatting and kill them first, I can’t sense our prince."
Arat gave a firm order to kill these things fast because some troublesome fellows in the village were waking up.
OUTSIDE THE FROZEN TOOTH
"So you planned this all along," asked Delimira.
"Yup, they were practically strangers and I have trust issues, Winters."
Hans looked at the sky and mumbled, "Damn, I need to learn to fly, that was awesome - "
"And chilly," she completed his sentence. Despite the chill, she felt a sense of relief, knowing that Hans wasn't being entirely a jerk at that time.
The fast traversing through the air left both cold as they shivered despite wearing the white robe of Parvians. clasping herself she asked him further,
"So where are we.. Hans?"
Hans looked at her weirdly,
"So are we on a first-name basis, WInters?"
"You saved me twice now, I would be a bitch if I kept calling you shorty or squeaky."
"I found even your compliments repulsive, Winters."
"Deli, call me Deli."
"Fine Deli. We're at Grimgar, now hood up and cover your ears."
"Why?"
Hans looked at her in annoyance and asked,
"Do you really not know why? Or are you just saying it to hear it from my mouth?"
"Hey, I don’t know. The only place I visited apart from Clandor royal palace is Concordia."
"For real, not even the Elven lands itself."
"Yeah, I had a situation, I couldn't leave the royal palace."
Hans looked at her straight, he found her situation amusing because he was in the same boat. She quickly asked another question,
"So why don't you want others to know that I am an elf?"
Hans did not wanna utter those words but had to say,
"Damn it, because you are... You are too pretty and it will attract a lot of trouble."
Delimira did not expect this answer but found it satisfactory as she nodded. She looked back and asked again,
"Can we really escape from them, they had a scary lineup."
"Of course, we can’t but I have left quite a mess there to clean up, that will take them a while at least."
"But they treated you good, isn't it?"
"The situation was oddly in my favour like a perfect plan had been executed, I can't pinpoint what, but Arat felt dangerous in a different way, like I will regret all my life if I get involved with him, "
She nodded, as she found herself not getting a read on Arat, suddenly she recalled another thing
"What about the trading of artefact?"
"Oh!" Hans took something out of his pocket in surprise and the area got warmed, "I almost forgot this little thing."
"No way! You even robbed Parvians".
"It was not my intention but, they called me prince, I don’t think they should mind me taking this baby."
Hans justified, but something flashed in front of him,

"What the f…" startled, he shouted.
