INTERLUDE 4 - THE IMPENDING ATTACK

The captain of the Cerberus picked up more crew from the Palasco faction to help man the losses of his starship. The faction and all its resources were at his disposal. Thanks to the planets chosen. The artifact he had plundered from a sacred temple long ago glowed with power in his forehead making everyone fearful not to fight back. The damage that he had caused to his own starship was enough for some not to question his orders.

He had every weapon loaded with the most damaging settings possible. He wanted to make them all pay.

His experiments were also loaded up and ready to be unleashed into the Frey when he arrived.

The captain finalized his plans while he waited for things to move along. No one would escape.

In the green elder dragonoids chambers.

“The planned action didn't go as planned. My contact was killed and the portal mage was rescued in time. She was able to stop most of the corruption from flowing over.” The green dragoniod said into the mirror, sweating. He was getting panicky about the chosen. The man could end his life when ever he wanted.

“This is unexceptable. You lot keep failing miserably.” The chosen spoke in rage.

The green dragoniod spoke again.

“The good news is the portal is unstable and can still be used to create rift eaters. Unfortunately, it is even more heavily guarded. There is no way I am going by myself. I'll send some others to deal with it. Those who trust me.”

“Very well if this screws up I will act out on my own plan. I hope you do fail so i can show you how you deal with things lije a real criminal does.” The chosen spoke before ending the conversation.

The green elder sighed as he went to gather his most trusted for what may be there last assignment.
