King marched around the bloodied battlefield, scorched and mutilated bodies laid everywhere. It was hard to tell which corpses were Elves and which ones were their Champions.
A bloodied Hero grabbed his leg. “He……help…me.” His dying breath was wasted on King who promptly kicked the dead Hero away from him.
“Disgusting, the weak deserve death.” King gave the dead a look of disgust as he trampled over the bodies.
The remaining heroes grouped past the battlefield as the other Incarnates praised their troops for their victory.
Adeline and Warmind were cheered on by the thousands of Heroes gathered around them. The only ones who remained silent and secluded were the Assassins of Time, their white robes were stained red with the blood of the Devils they’d slain.
The Battle against the Devil Elves was an overwhelming success for the Incarnates, 3 thousand Devils lay dead with the Blessed only sustaining 600 casualties. The deaths were shared evenly between each of the Incarnates, besides the Assassins of time who had no deaths or injuries within their ranks.
King watched the Incarnates praise the army, his expression was sour as he listened to their false praises. King felt no sadness for his own forces that were lost, he was glad to lose the dead weight.
“As expected, you are already desperate to taste the blood of the weak.” The Incarnate of Time, Ezriel, stepped from a portal encircled with gold. He wrote an outfit similar to that of his Blessed, except his was all gold and he wore no mask.
King looked at the Incarnate and scoffed. “Took you long enough.”
Ezriel maintained his apathetic expression as he strolled beside King. “Moving the armies took a greater toll than I expected. I am here now, and it appears that my Champions are performing as expected.”
“Well, isn’t that great for you. Let’s get moving, it seems like the others are down wasting time speaking to the lesser beings.” King jumped to the location ahead of all the troops.
Ezriel opened another portal and rejoined the main force with Kimg. After appearing, his Blessed all bowed before their Incarnate leader. He motioned for his soldiers to stand.
Adeline summoned one of her familiar to carry the Incarnates as their troops marched to the Castle of the Devil Emperor.
The familiar was a large light blue dragon, it was barely visible to those around it and its body was almost completely see-through. The familiar had an expression that differed greatly to all others, it was calm with no sign of aggression.
The Incarnates loaded onto the familiar and hovered above the army as it marched. They encountered low level Devils along the way, but they were promptly defeated by the Incarnate’s soldiers.

Adeline scrunched her nose as if she was smelling an awful stench. “I smell Death.”
The other Incarnates immediately became alarmed.
“He’s here?!” King shouted.
Warmind began to tremble and even the ever-calm Ezriel had a look of unease.
Adeline shook her head. “No, you think if he was that I would still be here? It is merely a splinter of his influence that I sense, something tainted with his power.”
Warmind stopped trembling and immediately became annoyed. “The God of the Void is Incarnated here then; he is the only one to have ever received something other than defeat from Grim.”
King smelled the air. “I can now smell it as well, the stench of Grim.”
He jumped from the Dragon and sprinted in the direction of the smell, he stopped in a circle of shrubbery and smelled the air, a bloodthirsty smile crept onto his face as he flexed his golden claws. “I know you’re here, come out now and I promise a quick death.”
His words were met with silence. “Good, I prefer my prey be resistant.”
King plunged his claws into the ground beneath his feet and overloaded it with Celestial energy. The ground cracked and an explosion erupted out, killing 2 Fallen Elves. The remaining 4 started to run back towards their War Beasts.
King jumped through the air and plunged his claws into the center of 2 more and sent them to oblivion. The last one drew a sword and fought off King for a meager 5 seconds before being sliced to ribbons.
This 5 seconds was enough for the last Fallen Elf to make his escape and outrun the Incarnate. King attempted to give chase, but the Fallen left no footprints and the wind now blew in the opposite direction of King so he couldn’t track the Fallen by scent.
King returned back to the other Incarnates, they landed and were awaiting the God of Beasts return.
“So?” Adeline asked impatiently with her arms crossed and an expression of annoyance.
“There were 6 minions of the Void, I managed to kill 5. 1 eluded me.” King was visibly agitated, and his bloodlust was felt by the Blessed army.
One Champion of the God made the mistake of speaking up. “Would you like us to form a search party and hunt down the insect, sir?”
King stormed to the Champion and towered over him. He glared down at the Champion and the Champion stared at the ground.
“Are you suggesting that you can accomplish something that I, the vessel for the God of Beasts, could not?!”
“No… I merely meant that hunting down such an insignificant foe was a waste of your time, your greatness.” The Blessed was a man that stood at 6’5” and clad in the skins of Devils with a large battle axe on his back. But compared to King, he was nothing.
King grabbed the head of the Blessed and slammed his face into the ground repeatedly. Teeth and blood shot from the Champion’s head as it bounced off the ground.
“You. Will. Do. Whatever. I. Tell. You!” With each word he bashed the head of the Champion. King then released his grip and walked back to the other Incarnates. “Someone heal that idiot!” King ordered.
A healer rushed to the body of the Blessed; a pool of blood spilled from his blood. The teal robed Mage held out her hands and emitted a green magic to the severely injured Champion.
Then 2 Champions in silver knight armor with white fur collars helped the champion to his feet, his face was still bruised and bloody.
The Incarnates loaded onto the dragon familiar and resumed their march to the Devil Emperor.
