After some playing around with my improved mana manipulation, I figured I could probably make a tier 2 skill before level 100. I could make one when I get my intelligence and wisdom to 30 or so.
I had a similar ability in my last life called {Limit Break} which as the name implies, let me break my limits for a short time. This is how I made {Pestilence} early. With lots of time and planning, I only needed about 1 minute to actually cast the skill for the first time.
The testing I was doing, definitely not just trying to make my mana circulation technique better. Because if I was doing that, I would have definitely succeeded and not failed for 20 minutes. Was cut short as we had arrived at the tower.
“Do we really have to do this?” I ask Tyler.
“Yep, not going to back out of my own promise,” Tyler says back as he parks the car.
We both unbuckle and exit the car. Looking over at the entrance, we spot our temporary party members. Tom is talking to Jerry, while Sara sits on a bench nearby. As we approach them Sara, Tom, and Jerry walk over to Tyler. I tune them out while still trying new things with the ambient mana in the air.
Tyler pokes me with his elbow. “This is Zain, you’ve probably met him before, he’ll be joining us. Say hi Zain,” Tyler says with a simile, knowing what he’s doing.
“Oh hi, I’m a novice hexer. I debuff the enemies.” I say wishing we would just fight something.
The story has been stolen; if detected on Amazon, report the violation.
“So not very useful then, like usual. Tyler, do we really need him for this.” Tom says while Jerry and Sara nod.
I thought for a moment before agreeing with them, at least the first part. “Tyler it’s fine, I’ll sit this one out,” I say winking. I turned around before Tyler could say anything and head to the exchange. This was a pretty good way for this to turn out. Showing some nobodies my skills would get me nowhere. Entering the exchange I head to one of the counters.
“Hello, sir, I would like to buy a weapon,” I say to the employee.
“What kind would that be,” The employee asks.
“A rapier, please,” I say, barely keeping my excitement in check.
“What tier would that be,” The employee asks me
“Tier 1, please.”
“That will be $800.”
Oof that hurt but with my luck I could easily earn that back in a couple of days. I still remember the last piece of gear I bought in my last life for 10,000 greater mana crystals. Ah, the good old days, spending a nation-shattering amount of wealth for one piece of gear.
Paying the amount asked by the employee I finally get my weapon of choice, other than curses and hexes of course. Grabbing the weapon from the employee I scurry out of the building like the curse goblin that I am.
Once I get out of the building I pull my new rapier out of its sheath. My last rapier was made out of unique metal that held an extremely sharp edge that never dulled and could cut through anything before floor 80 but by floor 90 it didn’t cut it anymore, so I switched to a knife I found.
Taking a swing of the rapier I got my skill.
{Curser’s style - A rapier style made to support curses and hexes - Made By Scholar of the First Curse Zain}
Perfect, I thought. Resheathing my rapier I head to the tower entrance. It was time to grind some levels.
