-The fortune teller-
----------------------------------------
“Welcome,” the woman purrs and invites you to her table. “The spirits of the future have brought us together again. They will always guide us and show us the way.” You greet her too, but with less pompous words, and sit down next to her. “I see the undead have protected you,” she continues as she looks you over and you nod in agreement: “It wasn't easy, but I've made it this far.”
“I'd like to take you on a culinary journey. Bubbling water, embedded in fresh herbs from the farthest reaches of our world, sprinkled with the fruits of nature and blessed with the finest colors,” she says and you listen up. That actually didn't sound too bad, not to mention fantastic. You're hungry after the long journey, and the description of the food sounds incredibly tempting. You quickly agree. But when the innkeeper brings you two plates of vegetable soup a little later, and you are a little disappointed. You would have imagined something more magical, more breathtaking. At least it tastes okay.
