After a few minutes, a rocky path and several falls later, which you can still clearly feel in your bones, a cave opens up in front of you. Your path seems to lead straight into it. You hesitate for a moment, but then you gather your courage and stride resolutely into the cave. You are greeted by darkness, but fortunately the light from the entrance to the cave provides you with enough illumination to find your way around. After just a few seconds of walking, you can make out the exit, but it is blocked by a grate. You sigh in annoyance. It seems to be secured with a magic lock.

A transparent tube is stuck vertically in the ground in front of the gate. As you take a closer look, you see a ball with a key hanging from it. You can't grab the ball or the key as your arms aren't long enough to get it out.

Exactly four holes have been punched in the wall. They are round and very shallow, as if something seems to belong in there but is no longer there. Hanging from each of these holes is a pipe that has been worked into the walls. Each one runs along the ceiling and ends directly above the pipe with the key. You get an idea. Maybe you have something in your backpack that could fit into the notches?
