Section 219 - The house of death -

-The house of death-

----------------------------------------

You quickly leave the cave of the waterfall and breathe in the new air, which is no longer soaked with the vapors of the waterfall. Relieved, you notice a clearing opening up in front of you. An old, somewhat dilapidated house stretches out across the green grass and you immediately wonder what has prompted a person to settle here in this wasteland. But then a new thought occurs to you that seems quite plausible. Perhaps this house was built here especially for you? So that you can finally rest after your long journey? Perhaps there is a warm open fire and a cozy bed waiting for you inside? Your eyes grow wide with longing for such luxury, but then you start to have doubts.

The house appears to have several floors, as windows have been installed on three levels. The building is made entirely of wood, even the door handle is made of this material. Then you notice that the windows of the downstairs room have been completely boarded up and you decide to think that this house is no longer inhabited. The second floor, on the other hand, seems more welcoming, as the windows are covered in dust, but at least they remain clear. You can barely make out anything on the third floor, it seems to be so high up.

But then you stop. Black smoke is constantly billowing out of the chimney and you flinch in irritation. Is this house inhabited after all?
