When Ryan and Alex Arrive over in Escambia, Faterra. Ryan takes a minute to look around the busy beautiful area. He looks around at this thriving town and sees around 40 people happy and talking among each other. He also sees houses in the area being built by the locals. Six people from the top of a roof spot Alex and wave at her. Alex waves back at them and shouts: “Guten Nachmittag Freunde!” Alex then grabs Ryan by the arm and with a random hyper mood starts skipping down the road with Ryan. Ryan who was feeling her good vibes decides to randomly skip down the road with her. As they do, they both see about 25 men and woman in Faterrian military uniforms walk by them.
“Hey what’s that about” Ryan asks while still skipping with Alex.
“Oh, they’re all just now returning from Operation Barbwire.” Alex tells him as they stop skipping and start walking up a huge hill. On the other side of the hill Ryan saw Alex’s house. Her house was of an apricot color, was of good size that was in pristine condition, had a garden out front that flew the Faterra flag which had a 3-part design on it. It had a top color of red, a red outline red square box with a gold star that had a red outline on it, and the bottom of the flag was gold with the words “Faterra” written in black. Her garden was filled with roses and colorful flowers and had a walkway that was made from a cut red boulder that lead to the front door from the road. You could also hear coming from the backyard something that sounded like a stream.
As they walk across the red boulder slabs to her front door Alex’s next-door neighbor comes jogging along in a good mood. He walks up her steps and casts an ice spell into what looked like a huge metal tray bin. He then snaps his fingers and the ice shatters into what looked like useable ice cubes.
“Ich bin froh, dass du es zurück geschafft hast! Hier ist ein Eimer Eis, der dir das letzte Mal versprochen wurde! Möchtest du etwas Milch? Meine Frau holt etwas vom Markt ab” her neighbor tells her.
Alex smiles at him and thinks of how to answer this.
“Nein danke. Ich werde nicht lange hier sein.” She tells him.
Her neighbor looks at her in disbelief and smiles at her.
“Das ist eine Schande. Lass mich wissen, wenn du etwas brauchst.” He replies back to her.
The man then jogs back home and Ryan followers her inside. As they enter inside the door Alex takes off her armor and hangs up her 2-hand sword on the wall. She walks into her bedroom and shuts the door. Ryan who was still in the living room looks around the place and notices burnt logs that have been sitting in the fireplace for a while. He sits on the couch and waits for her to come back out. 10 minutes later she comes out with fresh new clothes on and starts brushing her silky black hair.
“So, what did your neighbor say?” Ryan asked her randomly.
“He wanted to offer me some milk. I declined. I’m not going to be here long enough to get groceries. She replied back.
“What was the ice for?” Ryan inquired.
“Oh, that’s for any food I wanted to buy. I could keep it all chilled with the ice. He’s like my refrigerator man. If I need ice, he gives some to me free of charge” She explains to him.
“Ahh I see.” Ryan told her while remembering what Misty did to their homemade “Fridge” over at the mansion in Staug City.
“So here is the idea. If you want to help me out with this S-class quest I need to know that you are not going to abandon me halfway through it. Its going to be a pain in the ass and pretty long” Alex warns him.
“Hush. I already told you I’m going to help you. I need a fun challenge” He tells her.
Alex smiles at him and grabs his hand and pulls him from the living room to her bedroom. Upon entering her bedroom Ryan was blown away with how her room was decorated. On the walls were homemade hand-drawn posters of Green day, My Chemical Romance, Marilyn Manson, Bullet For My Valentine, Insane Clown Posse, and Rammstein.
Ryan looks at the Rammstein poster and gives Alex a weird look.
“Hang on, you were a fan?” Ryan asked her. While pointing to her homemade poster.
“I sure am. I was a fan of them before I died and came here. It used to drive my mom and my family crazy. In a black family this was a huge no-no. They all thought I was a Nazi when I would listen to them in my room. I discovered them accidently while listening to Bullet For My Valentine during my experimental Metal stage.” She explained to him.
“Ahh you were a fan of metal as well. My old friend Amanda was too” He told her.
“Ohh, who is Amanda? Did you ever date her?” Alex asked him while hoping on her bed and pulling out a map.
“No, I did not. She was cool and all, but I kind of kept her in the friendzone. After all that’s happened, I’m starting to wish I didn’t. She gave a heartfelt speech at my Funeral. I really miss her” Ryan replied to her while taking off his shoes and gently hoping on the bed with Alex.
“What stopped you from dating her?” Alex asked while unfolding the map and putting it in between them on the bed.
“My mother, and another girl. I really wish I choose Amanda over the other bitch. The other girl seemed to still be haunting me in a way. I’m glad she’s just not here anymore” Ryan told her while watching Alex point to the map and trace a road with her finger.
“We are here in Escambia. The area we want to go find my quest giver is somewhere here in the Black Forest 80 miles near Fusihterburg” She explains to him.
“Hang on, if our location was 80 miles from Fusihterburg, why did we teleport all the way out here?” Ryan asked seeming confused.
“I haven’t been home in a while! I been going out and doing Secret agent spy stuff. I want to relax tonight and get to know you. Plus, I need to ask a few friends around here where this guy slash thing is that’s supposed to give me my quest” She told him while taking Ryan’s spell sword out of his scabbard and examining it.
“You need a need blade” She tells Ryan while throwing it at a target along her wall. The blade lands far right of the bullseyes but manages to stick into the wall.
“I know. I’m like broke though and I haven’t had any issues with this sword, so I really haven’t thought about replacing it” He tells her while laying back onto the pillows on her bed.
“Don’t worry! I got you covered friend. I can trade this thing to the blacksmith in town and get info from him at and get info the same time. Spell blades are pretty pricy but with my reputation around here I can get you one for your level pretty cheap.” She says while folding up her map.
“I’ll pay you back when I get the chance. I’m pretty pissed off that I am always broke because of people I know” He tells her.
“Oh, don’t worry. You are helping me with an S-Class quest. My investment in you is guaranteed to reward me a return rate over 400%.” Alex explains to him. She then hops off her bed grabs him by the hand. She puts on her shoes and yanks his sword out of the wall, and they walk out of the house toward town.
Meanwhile over in Staug City
Zephyr, Misty, Zara, and Liz were outside by the lake behind the house and were fishing. Kannell was there near them by a Noodle was buried at still crying and depressed that he was gone. The girls all look at her and start talking to each other.
“This has gone on long enough. We need to get her out of here and help her clear her mind” Zephyr whispers.
Misty picks up Zara and places her daughter on her lap. “I would love to go for another mountain adventure personally” Misty whispers.
“I would love to go for one too, but how about a trip to the beach. Like let’s say to the sunny beaches of Mia. Liz responds.
“How about we just go for a cruise down to Cheetoecchi?” Misty asked the girls.
All the girls look at Misty and smile.
“That’s a perfect idea! I would love to go for trip down to Cheetoecchi. Kannell used to be stationed over there so she knows the area better than us” Zephyr replies back to them.
“But how hard will it be to get her to agree to come with us down there?” Liz asked.
“I will take care of that part but isn’t it kind of expensive to travel there?” Zephyr asked her while reeling in her line on her fishing pole.
“I have a hand in controlling Tourterra’s Navy and merchant vessels. It’s not too hard to find a ship that’s bound toward there and put us on it” Liz replied to her.
“Well okay. Let me go talk to her then” Zephyr said while getting up and walking over to her.
“I’ll go ahead and head on over to Gainer and get the ball rolling” Liz said while grabbing her new Teleportation staff she got from Queen Lake. Liz gives Misty a hug, and Misty who felt an opportunity to be alone for an hour unsuspectedly places Zara on Liz’s back and pats Liz on the shoulder and smirks at her and walks toward the house. Liz gives Misty a weird look upon realizing she’s babysitting her kid while she gets to go lay down on the couch. Liz shakes her head at her and with Zara on her back she teleports them both over to Gainer.
Zephyr meanwhile takes a seat near Kannell and holds her.
“Hey, I really don’t like seeing you like this. Every night I have to come out here and bring you to your bed and give you a sponge bath. I don’t like seeing you like this. You’re like a sister to me you know? I know Ryan really fucked up. He didn’t really mean to get him killed. But Kannell Nothing we can do will ever bring Noodle back. We can cry as much as we want into the soil, but it’s not going to grow a brand-new Noodle. Look we all had a great time together when we were traveling, and when we went gliding off those mountains. How about us girls go for a Nice little vacation to a tropical island. Let’s get far far away from this toxic place and have some fun” Zephyr told her.
Kannell doesn’t say anything to her and just stands up. She slowly walks over to the water while still crying and gets in. She lays on her back and floats while Zephyr stands up and leans on the tree and watches her drift away slowly with the light wind blowing leafs across the water.
Zephyr watches her slowly drift out into the center of the lake.
“This is good. She’s taking the first step to move forward. She will be over this in no time” Zephyr thinks to herself. Right after she thought that Kannell quickly sinks out in the middle of the lake.
“Oh my” Zephyr says out loud in shock.
Meanwhile in Faterra
Ryan and Alex were at the blacksmith shop getting info on this quest giver she was trying to hunt down. The Blacksmith and her were just chatting away in German and Ryan just sat back and enjoyed touching everything that was on the display racks. He picked up different swords and felt them and then saw a Staff that really caught his eye. It had a stone in the center of that looked like a human heart and was glowing red. When Ryan put his hand on the staff’s power crystal the stone heart started pulsating. This catches the Blacksmiths eye and he abruptly interrupts his conversation with Alex.
“Are you Blood mage?” The Blacksmith asked Ryan in English with a broken German accent.
Ryan not knowing any German bows his head at him. The Blacksmith looks at Ryan and smiles. He walks over to him and places the staff directly in his hands. The staff starts to glow a blood red and without warning disintegrates into ashes. Ryan and Alex who were looking at each other in shock then look at the Blacksmith in fear.

“You are not a weak Blood Mage. What are you?” The blacksmith asks him seeming annoyed.
Alex looks at him with a guilty look and prepares to grab her purse to pay for what looked like an extremely expensive staff.
The blacksmith sends her a signal to not reach into her purse for any gold.
“He is a Blackfire Mage” Alex tells him.
“Ahh, I see. That’s why he accidently overloaded the crystal with fire magic. It’s fine. I need to give him a special spell blade then” He tells Alex. He then points to a Library across town and shows Alex three fingers. The blacksmith pulls out a huge lump of ore that sparkled like diamonds, and some iron ore and drops it his furnace. He then takes a preheated lump or Iron and starts hammering it.
Alex then grabs Ryan’s hand and whisks him out of the shop in a hurry. When they all get away from the building Alex facepalms and freezes in place in shame.
“You…. Destroyed… a THIRTY thousand gold staff” Alex said in shame.
“Oh no!!!” Ryan shouts in shock.
“The price tag was hanging right there from the staff man!!! I can’t believe you did that!” Alex says to him in disbelief.
“I didn’t know that was going to happen! He wanted me to wield it! This isn’t my fault!” Ryan tells her.
“Look Mr. Flynn was calm about it for some reason. He will probably charge me a huge bill afterward after he finishes making your sword in 3 hours. Let’s just go talk to the Libby over at the library for our next clue” Alex told Ryan with mild anger. She then pulls him into the library where they then hunt for their next clue.
Meanwhile back at the Staug City…
Citra was all wet laying next to Kannell. She just dived into the water from the air and pulled her out of the water and Zephyr was screaming at Kannell.
“What the hell were you thinking Kannell! Don’t scare me like that again!” Zephyr screamed at her while giving her a huge hug.
“Wait why did she swim out to the center of the lake to begin with?” Citra asked Zephyr curiously.
“I was trying to see if she would be onboard to go out and join us for a cruise over to Cheetoechhi. But she decided to pull this shit on me!” Zephyr yelled.
“You are so lucky I was in the area when I saw her sink. But why did you let her swim out there alone?” Citra asked Zephyr.
“I don’t know. She looked so peaceful. I thought she was trying be alone and start the process of healing” Zephyr replied.
Kannell didn’t say anything. She just laid there alone still feeling dead inside.
“So, have you heard from Ryan lately?” Zephyr asked him.
“Yes, I just talked to Ryan not that long ago. I helped him fight a yeti this morning over in Faterra.” Replied back to her.
“A Yeti ehh? Did he cook food in a no cooking zone?” Zephyr asked her.
“I don’t know what he did. But the fight was a shit show” Citra told her while sitting down next to Kannell.
In that instant Liz then teleports in front of the girls with Zara still glues to her back.
“I have Good news, and Bad news. The good news is I got a cruise set up for us in the morning” Liz told the girls.
“Alright! That’s awesome!” Zephyr said with a cheerful tone.
“Okay, what’s the bad news?” Citra asked while crossing her arms.
“I have a ton of meetings with the Mayors and other Royals of Tourterra this and next week. I have to go to all these different towns on behalf of Queen Lake while she boinks King Joe over in Eyefore. So, this means I can’t go” She tells them.
“Oh man that sucks girl. I wanted to spend some more time with you” Zephyr says to Liz while she gently picks Zara off of Liz’s back and holds her.
“It’s fine. I can go anywhere I want later on down the road. But I got the trip payed for on behalf of the Kingdoms taxpayers’ dime. So, you better all have fun for me” Liz told them.
“Dumb question, I haven’t been to Cheetoecchi in like forever. You don’t mind if I go with you?” Citra asked.
“Sure, I don’t mind, but you better ask Kannell if its okay” Liz said while looking at Zephyr.
Kannell gets up off the ground and slowly walks over to Citra. She gently grabs on to her and walks her out into the water. She then lays on her back and drifts back out to the middle of the lake with Citra holding onto her. The girls look over at her and wonder what’s going on. Citra decides to transform from her Succubus form into her human form and float out with her.
When they reach the center of the lake Kannell just remains floating on her back and then opens up to Citra.
“I wish I knew more about Lilith before we agreed to shelter you. You were Lilith’s original target she was hunting before she killed Noodle. But you aren’t a bad person in my eyes. You have saved our ass so many times. You didn’t get Noodle killed, but we all been keeping secrets from each other. All of our lies eventually caught up to us and Noodle was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. I really wish I could go back in time and stop him from just being a hero. He was in no way in any condition to take her on with his low health build” Kannell tells her while still floating in the water.
“I know. I should have taken even more precautions to throw her off my trail. I’m really sorry I had a part to play in his death. I really don’t want you to be mad at me. I’m not a bad person and I know you understand that.” Citra tells her while also floating on her back in the lake.
“Look I want to know more about Lilith. Just tell me everything you know about her” She asked her.
“I don’t know all that much her myself. All I know is she is one of Yulee’s designated generals. She’s supposed to be my “Queen”, but I have absolutely no respect for her. Sure, she outpowers me, but I have a secret I’ve been keeping from you all” She explains to Kannell.
“What secret have you been keeping from us?” Kannell asks her while transitioning from floating on her back to a wading position in the water.
“I’m so close to metamorphosing into my Ultimate “Mature” stage”. Citra tells her.
“What does that mean?” Kannell asks her.
“I’ve been out of Lilith’s control for so long I’ve been developing a strong resistance to her magic over me. She almost killed me while I was with Ryan, but really soon I am going to become totally immune to her magic. This might cause more trouble down the road, but in all honesty If it does, I will make sure I keep Ryan and you all safe. I won’t let what happened to Joseph happen to anyone I care about again” She told her.
Kannell thinks about what she said and just remains silent for 45 seconds.
“Becoming immune to her magic may be really helpful to us. Ryan is a Blackfire mage after all, and all it takes is for a Succubus to take control over him and it could spell disaster for the rest of the team. I as an Arcane mage have no countermeasures for him in the event, he becomes charmed by one starts firing on us. That Chaos Bolt spell he has will pierce my already bomb-proof Arcane shield in a heartbeat. So, having you around is something I can look forward to when we all get back together” Kannell said while looking into Citra’s eyes.
“Ya, I kind of figured you would already know about that” Citra replied while looking her right back in the eyes.
“I don’t think the girls know what Cheetoecchi is filled with” Kannell said in a joking manner.
“Ya, they don’t. But the good news is the “girls” over there are way more relaxed then over here. I shouldn’t have too many issues over there. But at the same time, I haven’t been over there in like forever so some things may have changed. But other than that, I do want to go see that island nation again if you don’t mind. Me and you could just tan on the beach and just bitch about guys. What do you say?” Citra replied back to her with Sarcasm.
“I would definitely like that. I look forward to a little vacation away from all the B.S. I’ve been through recently” Kannell said while grabbing onto Citra. Citra then smiles at her and pats her head and morphs back into her succubus form. She then launches out of the water with Kannell holding onto her and they all fly back to the rest of the girls. Citra puts them down on the ground and Kannell hugs her again and smiles and she walks toward the house.
“So what did you two talk about?” Zephyr asked Citra.
“Private things. But I got her to agree to come with us. I’m so excited for this upcoming Tropical vacation. Citra replied to her with her arms crossed. Citra then races inside to catch up with Kannell.
Meanwhile back in Faterra
Ryan and Alex were talking to Libby in the library and she referred them to a book about the Black Forrest region in Faterra. They read up on a legend of Ghostly spirit in a grotto located in the eastern region.
“In the Eastern region of the Black Forrest in a secluded grotto, lies the spirit of Simon the Shy. Rumored to provide a S-Class quest to those who he deems worthy, and for those who have proved their mettle will provide a person with a Wish for anything their heart desires if they can prove to him first they can face their worst fears and work hard to acquire his blessing.” Alex readout from an old dusty book.
“That sounds like something were looking for right?” Ryan asked her.
“Yep it sounds like exactly what we are looking for” Alex tells him.
Alex flips the page and sees a map. Ryan slides his hand into his pocket and then pulls out his phone and fires up his map app. Alex and Ryan carefully zoom into the Black Forest region on the phone app and tries to carefully look for an area that that resembles this hand made map. They both spend an hour looking and think they found a mountain range that looks right. They zoom in more and further try to confirm this area. They spend 30 more minutes pinpointing the starting point of the map and when they are 100% sure they found it, they save the coordinates in his phone. Ryan also takes a picture of the page with the map that was on it and they both head on back to the blacksmith.
When they arrive, Flynn had a brand-new spell blade made for Ryan, and hands it over to him. Ryan holds the sword, and he feels a weird surge of power run through him. The surge of power felt like a strong electric shock, but the feeling quickly dissipated, and he started feeling a happy feeling while He held the sword up high.
“How do you like it?” Flynn asked Ryan.
“Whoa this thing feels great! It felt weird at first, but I absolutely love it!” He tells Flynn.
“That’s good. I used the ashes of that disintegrated bloodstone staff during its construction. It should be able to provide you a ridiculous amount of Spell power and Health” Flynn told Ryan while he reached into his bucket of water and pulled out his old Spell blade Nightfire. Flynn then hands Ryan back his original sword and smiles at him.
“What is this for?” Ryan asked him while he took the sword from him. As Ryan took the sword from him Ryan was shocked again with a force that was ten times more intense then the first jolt of energy. He falls to the floor and screams and passes out. For 10 minutes. Alex immediate hops on top of Ryan and makes sure he was okay.
“Don’t worry. Your friend is fine. He hasn’t upgraded his gear in quite a while. The Enchantments are catching up to him. He’s level 58 and he was still using a level 10 sword. This was to be expected. I just gave him a level 55 sword and upgraded his old sword to level 50 with that bloodstone ash” Flynn explains to her,
“Wait really??!” Alex said in shock.
“Yes friend. My Tourterra friend Mr. Stark made this Spell blade ages ago for low level adventures. I’m surprised your friend hasn’t upgraded his gear. He’s got some pretty low-level armor on as well” Flynn explains to her.
“Umm I had no idea of that either. He hasn’t been here that long either. I’ve been here for 2 years, and I’m level 45. But he’s been here for like less than 5 months and He’s been grinding levels like hell. I can’t believe he’s already level 58. I wonder what his secret is?” Alex asks him.
“I have no clue, but I am more worried about his low-level armor he has on. I know of your friend’s accomplishments from the pipeline, he’s completely eradicated the Disturbia Anarchy, and brought the import prices for ore and materials I have to pay for down to a fair profitable cost. For that I made him 2 swords that will boost his overall stats drastically” Flynn explained to her.
“So, with that being said, how much do I owe you? Please don’t say Fifty Thousand Gold.
“No miss Alex. How about you just pay me Three Thousand Gold?” Flynn askes her.
“Really? Wow that’s like a savings of 96%! I’ll take it!” She tells him. Alex then reaches into her backpack and writes him a check for Three Thousand gold. He takes the check and nods at her. Just then Ryan wakes up and Alex picks him up off the floor and she walks him out the door while he was still Dizzy toward her house with his two swords in her hand. As they walk away Flynn laughs and takes the check, she just wrote him and takes it to the bank across the street. Flynn pulls out the money amount from her account and proceeds to talk to his supplier uptown.
Alex who was walking Ryan home was giggling and making fun of him.
When they arrive at her home, she helps him on her bed and Ryan lays down and suffers a really and familiar bad headache.
“So why were you using low tier swords?” Alex asked him seeming curious.
“Because I seem to always be broke, and as it turns out I have been leveling way too fast” He explains to her while placing his hand on his head.
“How did you jump from level 40 to level 58 so fast. That is what I am so curious about” Alex asked him.
“Remember when you saw me pass you Blasting “Wonderful Life” from Bring Me The Horizon and kiting Metourum on my board?” He replied to her.
“How Can I Not forget. You almost killed me!” Alex said with a giggle.
“Well when I did that, I had a Buff on me that transformed all my Collateral damage caused into actual Experience. I kind of gained a whole lot of levels accidently that night” He told her.
“Ahhh I see. That’s not fair! I wish I could do that!” Alex said while randomly doing a small random hyper dance.
“So how much did that one sword cost me?” Ryan asked her.
“Not as much as you thought. I only payed Three grand for those two swords” She tells him while grabbing her backpack and filling it with clothes.
“What do you mean two swords?” Ryan asked her in confusion.
“Flynn took your old noob sword and upgraded it to a Level 55 sword. He said your other sword will boost your Health and spell power by an insane amount. But he didn’t say what your other one boosted” She told him.
Ryan feeling curious takes his phone and scans both swords. One sword gave him a +20 increase in spell power and also granted him 1500 points of Health. His upgraded Nightfire spell blade granted him 15 spirit and 25 Intell along with +10 precision. Ryan looks at this and his eyes open up in shock. Alex looks at look on his face and he throws her his phone. Alex couldn’t believe it.
“Dude, that yeti didn’t stand a chance against your attacks. Now with those things your even deadlier” Alex told him while laughing. She then throws his phone back at him and Ryan decides to open up his stats and add them up with these new weapons. When he opens up his stat screen he makes another weird face.
“Umm Alex…. I just realized I haven’t spent my points yet…” He tells her with a scared face.
“Oh my” Alex told him.
“Hang on let me spend these things right now. I got like 54 points to spend” He tells her.
Alex hops on her bed with Ryan and observes him spend his points.
With 54 points he decides to evenly distribute his points evenly. He places 15 points into his strength, 9 points in his intel. 10 points in his Agility, 10 in his spirit, 5 in his precision, and with his recent battle with that Yeti, he learns that he needs to improve the efficiency of his drain life spell. He then adds his last 5 points to improve [Drain Life]. This leaves his him with:

Both of them look at his new stats and Alex just couldn’t believe how powerful he has become. She smiles at him and thinks really hard about his new stats.
“Well since you are officially mid-tier, would you like to postpone leaving today for the quest and go and explore instead?” Alex asked him with sweet tone to her voice.
“Sure, why not. I love learning about these new places I visit!” He tells Alex.
“Cool! Let me give you a Proper tour of the town then” Alex told him while grabbing his hand. Alex then leads him outside and down the street toward downtown. Alex spends the next 4 hours showing him the town, and then they both watch the sunset together. The two then proceed to eat at restaurant and then head back to Alex’s house. Ryan makes a bed on the couch and falls asleep.
