Christine's eyes opened wide and she realized had found it, the place she was going to make her new home.

That morning while drinking from the stream she had been thinking and had remembered that several types of animals could go without food for long periods of time. She wondered how long she could go without food, realizing with a jolt of surprise that she might not have to eat as often as she was doing. This could mean that she could spend the whole day exploring instead of hunting as well. She decided to do this and explore all day instead of spending the first part of it hunting.
Christine decided to look for a new home and to do so went in the opposite direction of the town. She was traveling away from the village to get as far away from the humanoids as possible. Christine jogged for hours before finding a large hole in a hillside but she suspected something else probably lived there and from the size of the hole, something big. She didn’t want to meet whatever lived there so she quickly moved on. After a couple more hours she found another potential home that seemed more hospitable than the last. It was a hill next to a stream but while it would be a nice place to live the best spot to rest she could find was in a heavily leaved bush that had a small area in it that could be used to hide and sleep in. But Christine wasn’t sure that a bush would be the best place to live until she realized that she might be able to dig a hole herself and not just find one. She wondered whether she should make her home here or attempt to find a better one. Christine decided to travel for sometime more and if she didn’t find a better place she would return here to make a home. After some more traveling she entered a portion of the forest where the vegetation was thicker and found a small hill with a beautiful surrounding area. Christine loved it.

Returning to the present, Christine scoured the area in search of animal traces to look for any dangerous animals but she found nothing of the type. She then started inspecting the hill to find the best place to start digging out her new home. As soon as she had found the perfect place she was about to start digging, but then she noticed it was getting dark and decided to go to sleep near the base of the hill instead of start digging right then. Christine was a little worried about sleeping in the open but the closest place to sleep was in the bush and she didn’t want to go all the way there. Soon after lying down she fell asleep. Right after waking up the next morning she started digging a hole that sloped downwards into the side of the hill. Christine kept on digging until the sun was high overhead.
It was then that she decided to take a break and take a look around the area. She decided her current goal would be to find the closest source of water to her home. To do this she traveled in expanding circles around the hill and eventually she smelled the familiar smell of water. Christine followed the smell and found the mouth of a small spring, quickly starting to drink from it. After a short time she went back to her home, discovering that the time to get from her home to the spring was about ten minutes. Christine then spent the rest of the day digging out her new home. As the sun set, she was exhausted and so quickly fell asleep.
