Christine was planning on going on a several day journey to the village and back. She was going because wanted to learn more about the village and it's inhabitants. The day after eating that badger she made the decision to go on this journey as well as going on another hunt to make sure she wouldn't immediately start getting hungry on the way to the village. To get enough food Christine planned to hunt in a place she had found the day before. After finishing her badger, she had gone exploring and had found a large meadow where she had noticed hoof tracks. Although she had seen no animals there at the time she hoped that if she stayed hidden long enough on the fringe of the clearing some creature would show up. So she went to the meadow in hopes some animal she would be able to kill and eat would show up. Christine hid in the treeline of the meadow and waited for prey.
Hours later Christine noticed that something had entered the meadow but couldn't tell what it was, so she adjusted her position to see better. It looked like some small deerlike creatures were creeping into the clearing. Christine snuck through the trees to get closer to the creatures and she saw many more of them in the forest moving towards the meadow. There were hundreds of the deer moving towards the clearing. Realizing this could be a good opportunity to get some food, she slowly and silently crept closer to them. It didn't look like any of the deerlike animals were going to notice her because the wind was blowing towards her and the sheer number of deer in the forest meant that they shouldn’t hear her over the sound of the other deer. Christine managed to get pretty close to the many deer without being noticed, surprising herself.

Taking advantage of this unexpected situation, she sprang out of the underbrush and pounded towards the closest deer. It took the deer a second to realize something is wrong but in the wild a second can be the difference between life or death. Before the deer she was targeting could do more than to turn to flee she had bitten into its leg as the other deer ran. It bleated in distress and struggled to break free from the raptor but when Christine released the leg, it made a single crippled jump before she tore into it’s neck making it bleed profusely but still the dying deer clung to life. She quickly finished the deer by tearing through the deer’s windpipe. Lowering her jaws to the fallen corpse, she starts to feast and some time later she finishes eating as much as she can. Raising herself from the ground she notices from the intact head that this is not some sort of small deer but is an antelope instead. Christine went back to her home to get some well-deserved rest to be nice and fresh for her journey. As soon as she woke up the next morning she got a drink at the nearest stream and then she left for the village. After traveling through the forest for two and a half days she reached the village.
