~Kaiser’s~
(Tokoha's Fight - Vanguard G)
“Everybody we are almost at our first stop,” Iris sounded excited. Kent and I opened a window so we could stick our heads out of the van.
“No way, we’re in Mistralton City!” Kenta was excited and so was I. I’ve always wanted to visit the Celestial Tower for a long time. Deceased Pokemon graves are there and I wanted to see if I could find my parents there. Looking at everyone else in the van, Ignis didn’t seem too interested. I guess this is where he’s from. Carter was just as uninterested. Reuben was asleep and L’Ark was upfront talking with Drayden.
“We’ll be spending the night here and traveling to Driftveil Monday morning. We’ll have free time today and if you decide to leave the Pokemon center go with at least a partner,” Iris explained. With it only being Saturday we have a week till the regional conference in Driftveil.
As we parked the van we all hopped out and made our way to our rooms. I got one for myself again. I decided to unpack a bit since we’ll be here till Monday. I decided to take out some new training equipment I got while at the academy. Like my weighted wristbands. They are only ten pounds each, Drayden says it’s good for me to work on my speed. He gave Ark a Black Belt to boost his fighting type moves but told him to wear it as a bandana so he could work on his aura and not rely on his eyes. He gave Ignis an Eviolite to help with his defense so he could withstand attacks. He also gave us an update for our ORB that allows it to hold a Z Crystal, Mega Stone, or tera crystal in the ORB for easy use and storage. After settling in my room I decided to go to the lobby. I noticed Ignis was walking outside by himself. I decided to follow him outside. He was heading toward route seven and no one was with him. I know we are in his city but rules are rules. I chased after him and caught up.
“What are you doing?” Ignis asked me as if I was dumb.
“Going with you,” I responded as we kept walking.
“What for?” He kept asking questions.
“Rules are in place for a reason and you are not allowed to be alone,” I said. “Where are we going,” I asked mindlessly following Ignis.
“Well since I know you won’t leave me alone, we are visiting Celestial Tower. It’s been a few months since I was last there and need to pay my respects” he sounded somber. In contrast to his boisterous nature and taunting attitude. “Ick, why am I telling you this?” He slapped his cheek. “ Catch me if you can, loser!” He shouted as he started running to the tower.
“Ignis, wait!” I shouted as I chased after him. He ran into the tower and I chased after him. When I entered I was shocked by the interior of the tower just on the first floor. All the tombstones and Pokemon visiting them. The gray marble coats the floor, the walls, and the spiral staircase that leads up the tower. I went to the directory and it has four interior floors as well as the top fifth floor with the bell which mourners can ring in remembrance of their loved ones. The tombstones are placed by the last name on each floor. What am I saying I have to chase after Ignis. I remembered as he charged recklessly into the building. I started running up the stairs and saw he wasn’t on the second floor. No one was on the second floor but I could hear voices in my head. As I started to walk around I would see shadows moving about, some were small and others big. They were in the shape of other Pokemon. Why am I able to see this? I charged up to the staircase so I could reach the third floor. No one was around. I could still see the shadows, some were playing, others were sleeping, and some just sitting around, and fear filled me.
“Ignis, where are you!” I started to panic. I ran past the shadows and kept climbing floors and kept running so I wouldn’t have to focus on what I was seeing. I could feel large amounts of energy build up within me. Before I knew I was at the top where I could feel the wind blow my hair back. Up here were three tombstones and in front of them was Ignis staring down at them. I saw two shadows standing beside him. As I made my way closer the shadows gained a form and I could make out it was a Ninetales and Arcanine. Were those his parents? Then who is the third tombstone? I walked up next to him.
“I bet you can guess what this is,” Ignis sounded upset.
“Your family's graveyard,” I assumed. He nodded.
“My parents and my older brother, I live with my aunt the mayor of this city,” Ignis looked genuinely upset. I walked over to the tombstones and read them. “Ida Wintersea, Thomas Wintersea,” I then saw the last tombstone and kept it to myself it read ‘Sea Breeze Wintersea,’ I was alarmed because I do know a vulpix named Sea Breeze and if he was dead his spirit would be here with his parents.
“The thing about my older brother-,” Ignis was interrupted by a voice from the stairs.
“I thought I could find you here Snow White,” It was Reuben. “ Oh Hades is here with you too, are you two on a date?” Reuben teased and put out his tongue. I then noticed Kenta was with him. Ignis’s demeanor changed back to how it normally was. Defensive, cold, and boisterous.
“What is a low-life wool horde like you want to do at a graveyard?” Ignis walked down the steps to meet Reuben.
“Guys, no need to start trouble, we are here on a break,” I tried to mediate.
“Rueben, I just wanted to take a picture,” Kenta complained. Reuben then calmed down.
“Fine, let’s just take the picture and go,” he sighed. He started to say something but I couldn’t hear him.
“Kaiser, can you please join us?” Kenta asked, how could I say no? I dragged Ignis to be with us too.
“ORB, take a photo,” Kenta said and his ORB went in front of us and snapped a photo of us in front of the bell. “Alright now I only need a photo of us in Chargestone Cave,” Kenta was excited and Reuben let out a sigh. In a blink of an eye, a thread wrapped around Kenta and released a bolt of electricity shocking Kenta and knocking him out.
“Kenta!” Reuben shouted. We looked where the thread came from and on the edge was a Galvantula with two other Joltik. Kenta got dragged to the three spiders.
“You two take the kid, I'll subdue the others,” The big Galvantula said to the two Joltik and they disappeared.
“Bring him back!” Reuben charged forward cloaked in a white aura. Is that Double Edge? I didn’t know he developed that far in his training. I don’t have time to be surprised, we’re under attack. He got past the spider and charged down the stairs to chase after the Joltik.
“Ignis, do you have my back?” I asked. He nodded. “Alright, you go forward,” I jumped back and Ignis jumped up and shot a flamethrower his way. The spider shot an electroweb his way to trap the flames and it dissipated.
“You’re just a bunch of kids, you can’t take me down. As the Admin of the rogue Team: Cats Cradle,” I jumped in shock at the realization of his group. There were reports of them before I left for the academy, they kidnapped and ate other Pokemon. The group is large and has many members and their base is in Chargestone Cave. Using double team I surrounded the spider.
“Don’t think my many eyes are nothing 'cause the real you is right there,” he was able to locate me correctly and wrapped me up in the thread and then I was shocked and he made sure to surge me full of electricity. Ignis tried to free me but the spider got him too and surged his thread full of electricity. “Instead of leaving the two of you here I’ll take you both back to the cave.” he plotted out loud. My body began to swell again like earlier when I was seeing the ghosts. When I was peering around I saw the Arcanine and Ninetales and they were trying to break the threads. Then the energy released itself and my bitter malice was sent in every direction. The floor was covered in permafrost and the threads shattered due to the cold. I started coughing as I was released.
“Who knew a kid could have that much power, fine I’ll leave you two alone,” the spider fled down the tower.
“Wait!” I started to cough again. “Come back,” that was the last thing I said before everything went black.

(Lively Cyber Detective - Digimon Story)A/N: Rouge team’s new theme for all rouge teams.
Who would think we’d get attacked while traveling to Driftveil and for one of us to be kidnapped this can’t be good. Yet Iris and Drayden are so calm. They called us to group up outside in front of the van.
Unauthorized use: this story is on Amazon without permission from the author. Report any sightings.
“Alright everyone Nurse Joy is taking care of Kaiser and Ignis. We need to save Kenta. This will be a good teaching exercise for you as new students in the battle academy. Not only will you be competing in tournaments, but you’ll also have to do mini-adventures to save others or search for items or Pokemon,” Drayden explained.
“Can we hurry up, Kenta could be poisoned and eaten by now,” Reuben was panicking. Though Drayden didn’t acknowledge it.
“We’ll be broken up into two teams, Iris and Reuben will be in the van while Carter and L’Ark are with me. Now everyone get in the van,” I followed orders but Reuben seemed ready to protest. Then Carter walked up to him.
“Reuben we need you to shut up and calm down, you can’t save Kenta like this. There is a reason Drayden said for you to stay with Iris. Now let us do this without a hitch. I want to have a team to compete in the regional conference with,” Carter then got in the van and the rest of us followed. As the van started moving into Chargestone Cave it was amazing but I couldn’t show my amazement. I decided instead to open my ORB screen and pull up research from studies on Chargestone Cave. I can’t find anything recent. Most studies stopped about five years ago when Team: Cats Cradle appeared and started making their base here. We started going to lower floors where there was barely any light even from the blue gemstones.
“Alright, this is our stop,” Drayden stopped the van. When we got out it was hard to see. “L’Ark if you would do your aura search?” Drayden asked.
“Of course,” I closed my eyes and calmed my nerves. There were so many auras located on this floor and even below. “There are about another two floors below us and a lot of spiders on each floor. Kenta is located below us and is trapped in their nest with a few others I don’t recognize,” I then noticed there was a spider that didn’t radiate electric energy but rather ice energy.
“Something wrong?” Carter asked.
“Just that there is ice and electric energy,” I said confused.
“Alright, Carter you lead the charge with me,” Drayden said and we started moving down the cave. Smart Choice by Drayden Lillipups’ are known for knowing a situation they can’t handle and their face fur mask provides an amazing radar that lets it sense subtle changes in its surroundings. We were walking for about five minutes when Carter stopped.
“Something's not right. Something is coming, but I can’t tell the direction,” Carter said. I then started sensing an aura and there was a horde coming from our left right and behind us.
“This isn’t good, we are about to be surrounded from all ends besides our front,” I told our group.
“Alright time for practical experience, do not hesitate or you will die,” Drayden explained. We all start to see red eyes through the dark and we can already tell what they were. “Alright jump!” Drayden ordered and we listened. Drayden stomped his foot down and the whole cave rumbled. He’s used Earthquake, any other Pokemon using that would cause this cave to cave in on itself. That just notes how strong Drayden is. When we landed a bit of eyes disappeared, I’m guessing they fainted but there was still more.
“Close your eyes!” I didn’t bother to check and released a blast of light from my body. It illuminated the cave better and there were only three Galvantula left. “I got the one on the right,” I instantly jump up and my legs get coated in flames and I kick the spider chilling on the wall twice then jumped for a drop kick. Knocking him down and unconscious. I have to thank my father later for teaching me, Blaze Kick. I turned around and Carter took care of his spider as well as Drayden.
“Let’s start running my Earthquake from earlier should have knocked a lot of them down below us,” Carter and I started sprinting with Drayden. As we were running I was searching for auras and he was right so not only was it for defense but a tactful move thinking of our further trek into their hideout. As we traveled deeper we took out more spiders.
“We’re almost where Kenta is, dead ahead,” Drayden and Carter acknowledged my analysis. We then came to a clearing illuminated with blue gems but the webbing in here was embedded with ice.
“Well, I didn’t expect a visit from the legendary trainer Drayden right before I had dinner,” It was a female voice and I couldn’t figure out where it was coming from with it echoing off the walls.
“Seems like I have a reputation,” the old man grunted.
“Anyone who doesn’t know who you are in Unova is a fool,” the feminine voice laughed. “For you to be here I must have one of your students,” we all then notice red eyes coming from a back cave.
“You do, we can do this the hard way, but I’m not a fan of hurting women. Funny enough all of your henchmen are men,” Drayden let out a gruff chuckle.
“Glad you feel this way, but let’s make a deal if those two students of yours can beat me you can take one of the Pokemon in my web,” She then revealed herself to us. It wasn’t a normal Galvantula.
"You're a rare form of Pokemon born from the Xenoverse!" I shouted in shock [https://img.wattpad.com/206d4653abcb195258d9a3a0dd2c2b213726332f/68747470733a2f2f73332e616d617a6f6e6177732e636f6d2f776174747061642d6d656469612d736572766963652f53746f7279496d6167652f6839595966326a6b6c7765576a673d3d2d313335353939333932362e313737373735333734343764326165613534363536353536313133372e706e67?s=fit&w=1280&h=1280]
“You’re a rare form of Pokemon born from the Xenoverse!” I shouted in shock.
“Seems like the kid knows his stuff,” her voice was sort of flirty. “So do we have a deal?” She asked.
“Yes,” Carter and I looked at him in shock as we saw three other Pokemon trapped in this icy web with Kenta.
“I knew you were a betting man. Nice to meet you. I'm Vesca, the leader of rogue Team: Cats Cradle,” she then charged at us. Both Carter and I dodged in opposite directions.
“Carter, I will focus on tactics and orders,” I told him.
“Fine,” he sighed. “Just this once,” he then jumped off the wall charging at Vesca. She braced herself and fell for it. I shot a ball of blue aura her way. Carter landed on the ground behind her.
“Take this, duo battle tactic duo lag,” with a direct hit from Aura Sphere Carter then shocked her with Thunderbolt. She didn’t budge.
“For a nice tactic, you two are too weak,” she then blasted a ball of water at me, and right as it crashed into me she froze it and it jabbed into my fur.
“Ahh!” I screamed out. She must’ve freeze-dried the water pulse to automatically get more damage.
“That’s what I like to hear, the pain of my enemies,” she didn’t stop her assault and charged at Carter. He was going to shoot another thunderbolt and he got gut-punched by Vesca into the cave wall. Damn, she knows sucker punch too. “Drayden, did you seriously train these kids?” Vesca started to laugh.
“Don’t underestimate their skills,” as always he sounded gruff.
“A vote of confidence would be nice,” Carter barked at Drayden as he was coughing. I started to scan the area and saw the support for the nest. I then sensed an aurora coming from above us and it was Reuben’s. I thought he was staying with Iris.
“Carter quickly, knock down the web,” I ordered.
“Don’t order me around,” he started to howl and rocks started to blast at the web. It won’t be enough. I decided to focus on what he was doing and used copycat and sent rocks flying at the top of the web.
“Wait! If you do that!” The web then caved in on itself freeing its prisoners but the ceiling caved in too.
“Shit!” I sucked my teeth and jumped to catch Kenta. There is still debris falling. ‘Use my power and nothing would be a chore’ the voice in my head rang. Not now, please. I pleaded with myself.
(Tera Raid Theme - Pokeli)
“Get a grip kid!” Drayden yelled. I collected myself and made a forcefield to protect Kenta and me, as rocks fell on it and you could see cracks appear.
“Maybe I should’ve listened to Iris!” I could hear Reuben scream. I looked up through the rubble and he was free falling.
“Is that Reuben?” I hear Kenta ask through shivers. He must be freezing. The Debris stopped and Carter made his way over to Kenta to help him up.
“A third child joined the party, that is breaching the agreement,” Vesca’s voice was calm but at her command, more Joltik and Galvantula appeared from caves all around.
“Scamp, Gaston!” Reuben caught our attention. “Follow my lead! Gaston access the situation and give tactics. Scamp, we’re on offense!” Reuben took charge of our makeshift team. There were two champers to our left and right where the spiders were coming from and Vesca went back to her chamber. She’s not the target, let's focus on getting out of here. Reuben made a giant puffball of wool from Cotton Guard in the center making it harder for the spiders to move in this room.
“Alright, Carter we need a helping hand,” I acknowledged our next move.
“Don’t order me around,” he barked at me but did as I asked and cheered Reuben and me.
“Let’s charge at that cotton ball,” we both charged and I was cloaked in flames from my blaze kick and Rueben was cloaked in white from his double-edge. This must be the added power of Helping Hand.
“Basic battle tactic four: Element Buster,” we blasted through the ball of cotton, and as a result, it was set ablaze and caused an explosion. Just what I wanted. Galvantula is afraid of flames and doesn’t come out much during daylight because of the sun.
“Nice job you three, now let’s get out of here,” we turned to Drayden who had Kenta and another Pokemon over his shoulders and Iris was here carrying another two Pokemon. We started charging through the cave to get to the van and with all the commotion going on none of the Galvantula chased us down. We made our way to the van and headed towards the exit, reaching Mistralton City. We made sure to take Kenta and all the unconscious Pokemon to the Pokemon center and by the time everything was said and done Drayden said for us to get rest up and we also get a day off tomorrow. After we were all dismissed I quickly made my way to my room and shut the door.
(Emotion - Vanguard G)
“You can’t ignore me forever,” a voice I’m too familiar with whispered in my ear. I turned around and it was a shadow of me. I walked over to the bathroom to splash water on my face. When I looked up in the mirror he was still there. “Sooner or later you will slip up once and I’ll appear in your stead,” I stared at him blankly. “This calm and collected tactician act is not helping anyone, changing who you are to climb the ranks is never the right choice,” he kept talking.
“I did what was best for the others, you hurt everyone close to you,” I snapped. I was looking at him through the mirror’s reflection. “I don’t want to talk right now and I don’t need you. I came to Opelucid City to be a part of a team not to rule one,” I left the bathroom and when I turned around he was gone. I sighed as I sat down on my bed. I hope Kaiser and Ignis are okay. What would I do without them? I shook my head to clear out the accumulating bad thoughts. I decided to pull up my ORB and look at the news reports from Nimbasa City. “Seems like they haven’t been hitting headlines recently, that’s good,” I sighed. “As much fun as I had, I won’t go back,” I rolled over in bed and stared at my ceiling. I’ve only been gone four months and my first adventure was dangerous enough that three students were taken down. Whatever lies ahead we must be ready for.

Action: It’s so much fun revealing everyone's character.
Kaiser: He is putting in the work for this. I commend you.
Ignis: There’s no need to compliment him on what he should already be doing. *Snickers*
L’Ark: Now, now, no need to be a brat.
Reuben: I agree with Gaston.
L’Ark: *Sigh*
Drayden: Don’t forget to fav, follow, and review.
Iris: Bye!
