[Vince and Liv are walking through the middle of town, busy as can be. Vince is wearing a white shirt and jeans while Liv is wearing a dark purple hoodie and black glasses with trousers and brown shoes. Cheshire, currently pure golden, is perched in Liv’s hood with his paws on her head. The town has a large in door market place with a clock on the top of the building. There’s also a large outdoor market where people are yelling between watches, shirts and vegetables among other products. Liv’s checking her phone while Vince is looking around town. A woman walks by and stares at Cheshire, him hissing at her as she passes. Liv groans, looking up at him.]
Liv: [annoyed] Oh, behave!
[Cheshire purrs, resting his head on top of hers.]
Vince: You’re really growing on that cat.
Liv: Yeah, well… he seems to like me and I sure as hell don’t just wanna give him to an animal shelter.
Vince: [excited] So he’s staying?
[Liv looks at Vince and sighs.]
Liv: [reluctant] Yeah, Cheshire can stay.
Vince: [excited] Aww, you even used his name!
Liv: [embarrassed] Will you just… look, have you heard from Sissel?
Vince: Tried to get him to come out but I think he’s with someone at the moment.
Liv: [mumbling] Or he’s avoiding us…
Vince: Pardon?
Liv: We had a bit of an argument. Also I’ve been-
Vince: Spying, I know. Not subtle.
Liv: [annoyed] Don’t rub it in. I’m trying my best.
[Vince reaches up and starts to pet Cheshire.]
Vince: Well little advice. Speaking as his cousin and as his friend, he’s private and he likes it that way.
Liv: I know.
Vince: He also gets annoyed easily which is-
Liv: [annoyed] So fucking obvious.
Vince: [chuckling] Oh, yeah, seriously. He’s fairly sensitive about some things.
Liv: [annoyed] I know, Tracey, but we all are! I know it matters to him, but he’s not the only one-
Vince: That’s not what I meant. He’s got other stuff.
Liv: [surprised] Really?
Vince: Yeah. Did you not know?
Liv: [surprised] Would I sound surprised if I knew?
[As they’re walking, they physically bump into Leigh and Chelsea. The four panic slightly, Cheshire quickly jumping on top of Leigh.]
Leigh: [panicking] Jesus Christ!

[Liv quickly moves and snatches back Cheshire, holding him like a baby in her arms.]
Liv: [quietly] Cheshire, seriously, behave!
Chelsea: [surprised] Hey guys.
Vince: Hey, so Gary called me, what’s up?
Chelsea: Superhero stuff. You in?
[Vince smiles excitedly.]
Vince: [excited] I would’ve been sooner if he had said so!
Chelsea: [excited] Yay!
[Vince and Chelsea quickly run off together, Liv and Leigh left looking at each other in surprise.]
Liv: [surprised] That easy then, huh?
Leigh: Yep. Morning, by the way. Hi Cheshire.
Liv: [sweetly] Hi.
[Cheshire meows happily to Leigh, the three of them quickly chasing after Vince and Chelsea. Cutting away shows Gary sat across the road from a large bank, people coming and going from it. He’s watching the crowds going by, looking surprisingly patient. A man walks up behind him, stopping just behind his line of sight. They’re wearing black trousers and green velcro shoes but the rest of them can’t be seen. Gary notices.]
Hatter: [worried] I believe you wanted us to talk.
Gary: If possible, that okay?
Hatter: [worried] Yes… just not here.
Gary: Why not? It’s public, it’s roomy, I don’t feel like you’re gonna try and kill me here.
Hatter: [worried] I have some business to attend to, I need us to meet somewhere else.
Gary: And if I say no?
Hatter: [forceful] Then you’ll never get this chance again, that work for you?
[Gary stops for a moment and thinks.]
Gary: [hesitant] I want a place, time and name.
Hatter: Apparently there’s a park nearby.
Gary: [quickly] Queens Park.
Hatter: There. One hour. I’d prefer alone, but that’s your choice.
Gary: [quickly] And the name?
[Gary starts turning but Hatter quickly moves out his way and past, dropping a green top hat on Gary’s head. Hatter starts to walk towards the bank, keeping his face away from Gary.]
Gary: [confused] Hey!
Hatter: Keep it. Now I have to come back.
[Gary pulls off the top hat off his head, looking at him in confusion. Hatter enters the bank.]
Gary: [mumbling] You don’t deserve a cool Japanese name…
[Gary starts looking over the hat, looking inside of it. He goes wide eyed.]
Gary: [surprised] Holy crap...
